Sunny gave her a bright smile. "Sure I will stay with you and read. What else would I do? Besides, everyone can enjoy a good book from time to time. Don't you agree? And further more, I want you off your paw for a while so that you can let it rest. So go ahead and read and we can finish our tour another day or later on." Sunny smiled and flipped open his book.

She nodded, then asked, "What are you reading?" looking over at him from the corner of her eye. She started to read her book, happily, and snuck looks over at him every once in a while. She was listening for his answer though, hoping he was enjoying his book.

Vergil thought for a second. Should he play hard or go easy on her since she was a female. He remembered that he was told to respect ladies, but he grew out of the habit since he had a playful nature. "Alright then." He dove under the water while waiting to figure out which way to strike. The black fox looked around the water before swimming towards her. He thought he would let her get away so he didn't quite catch up to her speed.

Sunny caught her tossing looks his way and smiled as he flipped his book over to show her. "It is Adam Bede which was written by George Eliot, who happens to actually be a woman writer. It is a little of a slow read but I started it and want to finish it." He moved the book again and went back to reading, catching each look she threw at him.
Pumpkin sent him a mock glare when she realized that he was going easy on her and swam all the more faster. "How about this," she said, "how about I give you a little present if you can catch me? Is that enough incentive for you to actually try and not go easy on me?"

Vergil decided might as well give her what she wanted. He did not get her at all, but perhaps he would overtime. "Fine then." He dove back under the water and caught up with her in no time. Vergil then tagged her before taking off himself since he was thinking it was a game.

Pumpkin laughed and gave chase. He was quick and it took her a while to catch him. When she finally caught up to him, she touched her nose to his and licked his fur before swimming away, having given him her present for catching her earlier. As she swam away, she blushed, realizing what she had done then giggled.

Fai noticed that he could tell she was watching him, and she blushed and turned her full attention to the book. Soon she was wrapped up in the tale in front of her, and she became immersed in the story, eventually laying down with the book when she got tired from sitting. She curled up with her book under her paw and did not move except to turn pages, until she noticed by the shadows on the walls that it was starting to get pretty late.

Sunny smiled as she finally began to enjoy her book and settle. She was a beautiful fox and he liked watching her as she was absorbed in her book. He also noticed how late it was getting and stood, stretching. "Shall we get something to eat before we turn in for the night?" he asked as she but done her book.

"Sure, that'd be great," Fai said, standing and stretching and walking over to the shelf to return her book. She walked back over to him, her paw feeling a little better after the long rest, and waited for him to lead the way back to the kitchen because she was not quite sure how to get there from where they were at.

Vergil was a bit shocked by the sudden lick before looking down a bit embarrassed. He never had gotten licked before, but still he tried not to show that he was a softie. The dark fox eventually went under the water once again before shooting up to the surface. He got out of the water and shook him off. "I'm hungry at the moment." Vergil looked around. "So...is there a place for that too?"

Sunny smiled and began the journey to the kitchen happily, humming to himself as he went on, confident that she was able to keep up with him. Soon they were in the kitchen and he was nosing open the fridge and pulling out some fish. "Will this do or would you like something else?" Sunny asked with a bright smile on his face.
Pumpkin giggled, see as he was embarrassed. She used the stairs and climbed out of the pool, shaking off before walking over to him smiling. "Yes there is. It is called a kitchen." She began to lead the way, knowing that his curiousity and hunger would make him follow her without question though he may not be as close as before in his nervousness. She smiled at the thought that she had embarrassed him.

Vergil looked down for a bit blushing. "Eeeh! Silly girl I knew that." He then trotted after putting his ornamental decrements on. Vergil was definitely finding this fox to be a challenge. One way or the other though he would figure out why she was being so nice to him.

Pumpkin smile at him and headed into the kitchen, slipping the fridge open with her paw and pulling out some fish which she set on a low table. "Will this do or would you like something else?" she asked inquiringly, snatching one of the fish for herself and gobbling it down quickly.

"Fish will be great, I love it." she said, smiling at him. She rubbed her head against his softly. "I appreciate everything you are doing for me," she told him, not really sure how to thank him for being so kind. She was not used to people treating her so nicely. She looked over at him and then sat down to eat.

Sunny blushed then blurted, "I like being nice to people, especially the ones I like." His blush deepened on his white fur and he began munching on some fish so that he did not have to look at her after his claim. He was surprised that he had shown so much feeling out loud and though he was easy going, he had never been at the point where he was falling in love before and it bothered him because he was not sure what to do about it or how to approach her about staying for good and becoming his mate.
