Valter noticed Ed when she stormed in. She looked really angry, so Valter called after her. "What happened, Ed?"

"I--I see," Ninian said as Siegell showed her what to do. "You're right, this isn't very hard at all."
As Ninian and Siegell danced, Ninian slowly began to smile, her uneasiness beginning to disappear.

Nometal sighed and walked back in, knowing that he wouldn't get any luck with getting any ladies, and saw everyone inside having fun and what not.
I should just try and have a good time, instead of being a mope around here.

"I do get lonely." Melethia admited, "I might not see Soren again. Isamu set out to look for him though." Melethia and her imp then looked up.

"I didn't get him," Ed sighed, stopped by Valter's voice. "I don't know what's going on, but it's really irritating me. I wish they'd tell me what's going on! Just because I'm usually a dog doesn't mean they can't tell me things!"
She pulled somewhat at her hair. "Don't mind me, Valter... I'm just tired, I guess."

After a moment's hesitation, Renault's hand slid up from her waist, backs of his fingers brushing her cheek gently. "You needn't worry. I'm sure that he'll be back. . . but he shouldn't treat you this way." The bishop gave her a kind, knowing smile. "If you'd like, I can provide you with company for a while. I do not usually have anyone to talk to, either."

Rhys smiled back, pleased that at least he had a chance to dance with the girl he loved. Raising his right hand into the air along with her left hand and sliding his right down to her waist, they slowly began dancing, picking up the tempo.
She looks so pretty in that dress! I--wait, I shouldn't be thinking this.
"You really prepared for the party. You look great in that dress."
There you go. Compliments never hurt.

Melethia looked back down at Renault. "Soren never loved me that much. What we did was the heat of the moment type thing. He cared about me but, I do miss him. It would be nice to have some company." She paused for a bit. "Father Renault can you please look up please. I thought I saw a mistletoe above us. I don't like the tradition of those things."

Ed stood where she was, awkward for a moment, then went back to Valter.
"I'll sit next to you and have a breather. Is that okay?" She glanced down at her hand and immediately wondered where her fruit punch went.
Oh well.

Amelia kept in time with Rhys to the music, smiling. The band's really good, she thought as they stepped in time, as if their footsteps were molding with the tempo, a slow beat grooving itself into their muscle memory.
"You really prepared for the party. You look great in that dress." Rhys told her, not breaking the dance. Amelia laughed, but in a nice way.
"Of course. We can't let people think the Club is slipping, can we?" she asked with a cheeky grin. The smile turned softer as she responded to the second part, nodding slightly. "Thanks. I thought it was nice... and I don't usually dress up like this. It's a nice change."

"I. . . see. Then I will be happy to provide you with that company. . ." And actually, this settled the bishop's heart a bit. If they truly weren't close, then he would not feel so bad. As for what Melethia was saying now. . . The bishop looked up, and his brow furrowed upon, indeed, discovering a piece of said plant above them. "That's. . . a bit strange. However, I've never. . . really had a chance to observe that custom."

Siegell laughed again softly, dancing in slow circles with Ninian, reaching up for a moment to tickle her chin. "There's a smile..." He gently picked the dancer up, swinging her around once with her feet in the air, and laughed! "You're so light! You... are Nils' sister, aren't you? Ninian... I'm Siegell." He smiled. "I see you're wearing your new scarf. I was hoping you would like it..." He set her down on her nimble feet and grinned. "You lead, now," he murmured, sliding his hands up to rest on the sides of her ribcage so she could take his hips and lead the dance.
