With a minimum conscious Kamui Aoi was able to help him to the guest room with little incident other then the trouble she had trying to support him. Aoi helped Kamui into the bed and covered him up with a blanket.
"Good night Kamui-sama. Feel better soon." Aoi said as she turned off the night and closed the door. She had to get back to Miss Sparrow to se if she still needed help. Aoi was a little tired from helping Kamui but she felt it right to try.

Kamui continued to breathe a little heavy, but eventually that subsided into quiet sleeping. His fever would not break yet as he lay there. He could only murmur an apology, and then fall unconsciously into a deeper sleep. Kamui couldn’t have been more wrong that his chi alone would be enough to combat the fever.

Thomas raised an eyebrow and smiled with an unreadable expression. "Want me to bring something warm up after you get up there?" He asked Aoi and Kamui. He turned to Bella and put the coat he had been sitting on on her head. "You know, Bella, have you ever considered a job in becoming a coat hanger?" He joked to try to lighten the mood. There is... something amiss.

"No, I haven't." Bella said softly as she lay back against the stairs. She looked at Aoi, "How is he? I really wish I could have helped you." Bella nibbled her lip worriedly as she took Tom's coat off her head.

Damiane stretched forward to lay on the floor; her head set in her hands. "Actually, no. That is why I asked you." she gave a smile. "To tell you the truth, I haven't had a decent fight as of late. I hear the cities are brim with all manner of creatures. I may go soon to see myself. Pity the mortals." she gave a malicious laugh.

"Kamui-sama will be fine with rest Miss Sparrow," Aoi said through Sheena's mouth. Aoi was surprised by Thomas's aloof and nearly mad behaviorism.
"His body is strong and well trained to overcome obstacles. Just give him time my lady."

"I am glad to hear that, I feel so bad." Bella confessed looking down at her feet only a couple steps down from where she sat. "It really is my fault that he is sick."

Aoi/Sheena came over to Bella and hugged her warmly.
"All that matters is you are unharmed now miss Sparrow, You must rest as well lest you become deathly ill." Aoi said warmly.

"Deatly ill? I don't think that is going to happen Aoi, please don't worry about me. Maybe we could all lay back in the living room, watch a few shows and rest there? How is that for you?" Bella asked Aoi knowing she probably didn't want to get too far away from Kamui.

"I'm so sorry Bella, but I absolutely must go stand on your roof now. Aoi, may I trust you to keep her safe?" Thomas asked Aoi seriously, stressing the last bit of his question heavily. He used 'may' with a hint of polite loathing. He wrapped his necklace with the cross around his hand and stood near the window. "I'll wait 'til you leave to open the window." He said to Bella and Aoi.

Thomas smiled grimly. "Now, don't worry." He said, patting Bella on the shoulder. "I arrived during the blizzard, but I fear..." He turned to Aoi. "I'm trusting you and Kamui to protect her. Please, all of you, stay safe." He impatiently opened the window and slammed it shut.

Lyon chuckled. "Yes... they are quite dull aren't they. They used to be interesting, but now they are not so. Only good for eating really, and when I say 'good' I am being very generous at that. They used to taste better." He said. "Though... there has been a great increase of new creatures around here, of late. Perhaps I could a try my hand a being... sociable."

Damiane snickered. "The word seems to taste terrible on your tongue. Yes...sociable. I would have to make an effort myself. It is a shame this blizzard won't cease. I seem to remember much better weather, just as you remember much better food." she smirked "Things are changing for the worse these days, I fear."

"Miss Sparrow...suddenly I am feeling very frightened." Aoi said nervously. "What am I supposed to protect you from? Is your guardian angel mad or is he telling the truth? Above all else how am I going to protect anyone?"
Aoi began to pace back and forth nervously.
