Anduin looked at her as she rode and shook her head. "We're not all arrogant. The elves there, I see, are no different from the ones in Mirkwood or Rivendell, but that's just my opinion. There's proud beings and quiet ones as well as overly happy and all that. I never had a reason to be proud back there being I did nothing but sit and be awed by others. I did a bit of work and practiced my fighting skills in private." She sais remembering her childhood. Every once and a while she would go walking off and practice archery. She'd been caught a few times, but nothing more.

Standing in a frontier outside the borders of Lotlorien was a tall yet slender elf, he had unusual eyes and hair as most would say for it was of a deep blue. His gaze was foward and with him standing in perfect rows were two score elves under his command, He was an elf of an forgotten age in which before the recordings of elves and men, he has seen and witnessed much of this world but yet continues untouched by time. He watched the frontiers of Lorien as Gondorians sent thier rangers to the distant areas to try and cut off mordor support troops orcs and otherwise.

Looking over an outstretch of land as the pinacle of the semi cliff they stood upon overlooked the borders of Rohan, the elven eyes of the blue haired ranger found what they seeked as he ltook up his bow and raised it as he spoke. "Tangado haid!" the two score elves immediatly rallied into lines of continous fire. "Tangado a Chadad!" two score bows had arrows notched to them and held in the same way as teh passing orcs below had no clue. "Dartho......dartho....." They drew closer and closer below until the ears of all elves present twitched from the clarity of heavy tinkering armor as the orcs march below.

"Hado i phillin!" Forty one arrows cut the air as it rained upon the unsuspecting orcs as they scattered, eventually finding the source more and more were cut down but now the orcs rallied and began charging uphill. "Megil! Megil!.....Dartho......Hado i phillin!.....Herio!!" The front line of elves pulled swords as the second line fired arrows into the charging orcs, then with the words Herio the elven line and the blue haired Warrior named Erestor Mithrandir charged downhill to meet thier foe blade to blade.

Nimrondell rushed into the battle following her commander Erestor Mithrandir. She was the only female within the group and her job was to stay out of the battle and use her bow. She was very skilled with her bow and she was the best that they had. She knoched an arrow to her bow and watched for anyone haveing trouble in the battle. Suddenly she noticed an orc comming for Erestor while he was distracted by another orc. She yelled out to him "Tira ten' rashwe" then aimed and shot the orc in the heart and he quickly fell to the ground at Erestor's feet. "That was much to close" she said to herself as she scanned the battle. "Hebo estel" she said to herself and continued to fire off arrow after arrow. Her commander was not hard to spot in the battle, he had beautiful blue hair, unlike everyone else. Her job was mainly to protect him from afar, which she did with pride. However, it was odd to be the only women but so it was in that time. She still wished to do battle with her sword but Erestor would not allow it. He still thought that battle was no place for a female and so she would continue to use her bow unless it was nessasary to use her sword.

"Ah..." Sila shrugged as she stroked Tharon slightly. "The only Elf that I have ever really had dealings with from Lorine was Haldir... and he wasn't the most... modist elf ever." She looked over at Anduin.

"And when you say a bit, I'm sure that you have actualy done quite a bit, and are very good at the weapons."

Erestor being as old as he was had many things embedded in his mind such as his slight discomfort with a female watching his back, but a soldier is a soldier especially in these dark days and one musnt be picky. He carried an elven longsword that he had from the first age when he crossed the great sea with Fingolfin and his kin, it was blackened with orc blood but none the less he advanced and his ears would twitch as orcs near him fell..."Good shot for a female..." he muttered before catching an orc at his middle, he sighed deeply as he wiped his blade for the battle was over....."TANGADO HAID!"

The surviving elves were called into attention.....thankfully none were lost as this was a small band and they were orc but he and his brigade have already ran into Uruk-Hai, lost eleven good elves three days ago against a troop of them. "Hado ribed! " With that the troop marched into the thickets of an undergrowth where they made camp but no light was lit as Erestor approached Nimrondell. "You are a good shot.....thank you for earlier...." Beyond most that was quite hard for him but he admits and gives thanks where its needed as Erestor went for the outskirts of thier make shift camp to do some thinking.

Nimrondell was glad to see that noone had parished this time, for the last time they battled eleven good elves were lost. That was a hard day for everyone but so is life, if we are to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Nimrondell followed the rest of her troop into the thickets of an undergrowth, were they were to make camp tonight.

Nimrondell sat quietly rubbing oil onto her bow to keep it in good condition, when out of the darkness Erestor approached. Quickly Nimrondell got to her feet and bowed, then looked up her dark hair flying into her face. Her green eyes shone brightly even though there were no fires this night. She quickly brushed her dark hair out of her face and over her shoulder. "Man anirach cerin an le"Nimrondell spoke then waited for Erestor to respond. "You are a god shot......thank you for earlier" he said gently. "Thanks you but i was only doing what was asked of me" Nimrondell said as Erestor headed away but turned back as she finished. "Belain ne le" she said and bowed her head crossing her righ hand over her chest. He nooded slightly and then headed off to the outskirts of the camp.

Nimrondell sat back down and went back to her work, she would have told the others about how Erestor had thanked her and even had says he was a good shot but she knew it was hard for him to do such. So it must be kept to herself to enjoy but not only that it was unproper to gloat. She smiled, at least she had done something right for a change.

It was getting near midday when Napier and Thomas suddenly stopped walking. "Shh! Do not make a sound Thomas." Napier had heard a crincle in the surrounding grasses. He sliently drew his bow and notched an arrow. He squinted his eyes and slowly turned in a circle.

She had caught up now. One of the men raised a bow and, realising then the men must have seen her Elrothiel approached cautiously. She drew Naraithas and laid it flat on the ground as a gesture of truce. "Greetings." she spoke quietly in the common tongue. "I am Elrothiel, elf or Rivendell, though I have not been there for a long time. I have recently been in Fangorn and am looking for news concerning the rise of Sauron and the return of the Nazgul. Who are you and whose side are you on in the coming fight?"

Napier, noticing the gesture of truce, also laid his bow down. "I am Napier of Rohan, and I cannot answer the other question. I do not know much about the "ring of power." I must know more before a make that desicion."

She scrutinised him carefully and believed him to be trustworthy. "I trust your judgement. Where are you travelling to? May I accompany you for a time? It is no longer a time when anyone, even warriors should walk alone."

A hawk of Lorien came upon Erestor although it was no great hawk like Gwaihir but the common smaller ones, de-attaching a note he read it over quickly and wrote a reply as he walked into camp. "Elnorian take a score of your troop back to Lorien, no need to make haste but I recommend it in these times.....Nimrondell you and nineteen others whom of course are a score are to come with me. We are to venture to Rohan further and scout out the borders of fangorn, our lady seems to believe something lay await there that shouldnt be......

Now come we have no time we travel by day and night if we must, keep bows in hand and wits clear and about you, let us be swift and may Lluvatar watch over us...." Pulling the hood of his cloak over his head the two score elves disband as Erestor marches for Fangorn.

"That is very true." Napier paused and starred into the ground. He was wondering if this new elf that he stumbled opun could be trusted. At last he sighed and looked up."Alright, you may travel with me. It is hard to come by people that can be trusted in these parts, and seeing as my other companion ran off, I am in need of one. I am travelling to the house of Elrond, and trying to get there in time for the council. I am in search of more information about this 'ring'. We must be off fast, and don't try to stay too far behind. Rohan is not safe." At that Napier stooped over and pick up his bow. He fastened it tightly across his back, and quickly started off in the directioin of Isengaurd. He could not be sure that he was making the right decision, but the elf was right - he shouldn't travel alone.

Nimrondell bowed in respons to Erestor's words and quickly grabed her bow and her quiver and placed it on her back. She took up walking right behind Erestor, keeping her beautiful bow in her hand as she walked. An arrow was close at hand in case she needed to use it in hast. She had her eyes and her ears totally open to the world around her, if something would move that was not the other elves she would know it in a heart beat.

Nimrondell was a thin elf but very powerful and it showed in her personality and her skills. She made no sound as she moved which made her a great warrior, she looked ahead of Erestor and behind. Her movements were bairly noticed, she wondered what was on the boarder of Fangorn that the Lady would send them to get ride of. Nimrondell had a cloak of dark green about her shoulders but she did not put her hood up. She was less noticable from her black hair then Erestor with his blue hair. Some of the other elves had their hoods up but that was because their hair was the color of the sun and more noticeable. The ones that had no cloak or no hood on had hair the color of Nimrondell or like the elves of Mirkwood. Nimrondell heard a bird fly over head and quickly looked up to see what it was, when she saw that it was a crow she slanted her eyes and returned them back to the path in which they took.

As the crow passed it was Erestor who shot it out of the sky, examining it he retrieved his arrow from the corpse. "Crebain from Dunland......lovely so Rohan is being watched, but why?.....Hm?" Erestor caught another letter as it seemed he was deemed elsewhere, sighing deeply he ate the letter and turned to Nimrondell. "You are to go with me young one, the rest of you return home double time NOW!" Once the nineteen dispersed he simply said "Keep up...." Running like the wind for someone his age he was soft and quick like a young elf, in time the pair would find themselves two mares one an off grey the other a deep black.

"This is Hasolf and Eodern.....we are to ride to Imladris and represent Lothlorien....some council about the bane of old that should have died...." Erestor seemed to cringe and held onto the grey horse for support, he had many flashback of that day.....the last alliance of elves and men, the words of Isiuldur's refusal as he heard it from Elrond shocked him even today as he knew its this on why evil still exist. "Come we make haste....Lord Elrond awaits us both." With that Erestor mounted his horse as his midnight blue hair shone beautifully against the dark moonlight, riding eastward the pair would now go to as commontongue would recall as Rivendell.

She nodded. Her weapons work was okay when it came to swordsmanship, but she was highly proud of her archery, in her opinion. "Other than practice and serve around Lorien I really believe I've served a low purpose. I always dreamed, as a younger girl, to fight alongside Haldir or another." She sighed when she remembered an argument she had had with her father. He looked like he was going to explode when he yelled at her. She didn't break down into tears as some may have thought, but just walked awy quietly. She didn't see her father as an uderstanding one, as she had hoped.

Nimrondell mounted her horse quickly as was asked and Erestor headed off in the direction of Rivendell in the common tounge. Nimrondell not needing to have her hair tied back let it hang loose now. It waved back and forth as they rode with great speed. Her hair blended beautifully with the horse's skin and main, it was as if it were suited for her. As the road Nimrondell watched every patch of land as they went by. Nimrondell had seen the crow and was going to shoot it down but Erestor do so first, which was well due to the fact that a message was involved.

Nimrondell found herself staring at Erestor's beautiful blue hair in the dark moonlight that covered the land in shadow. Her's of course blended in except that it had a hint of deep purple when the moonlight hit it just right. "Why did Erestor take me and not someone else" she thought as the kept a fast pace. She hated being called "young one" just because she was not as old as Erestor. Really she thought that it didn't matter how old you were, when you were an elf and lived forever. However, she was not about to challange her commander, she knew that she would loose. She like when he said her name, it sounded beautiful when it came from his lips. Nimrondell shook her head to regain her thoughts and wits, now was not the time to day dream about such things that could not be. Rivendell she thought, she had not seen the city in ages, and was happy to be going back. She would have loved to talk with Erestor but did not know what to say, she thought it better to keep quiet.
