"On second thought, I'll meet you two over there... there's something I have to do later tonight, so the train will be a pain in the a** for me." He jogged towards the exit. Grabbing his Motorcycle helmet from a cubby hole on the wall he made his way to the surface.
It took him only a few minutes to get to the park, his ride was accompanied by irritated looks from the drivers stuck in traffic who he nimbly weaved through bypassing at least a half hour of traffic.
He left his bike in a slot feeding a dollar coin into the meter before hanging his helmet up and walking into the park.

Fulgrim Edric was just another face in the wandering people in the park, so Will didn't notice him as he conversed with Candice. The two of them seemed as if they were in the high school atmosphere again, except as Candice mentioned, more mature.
"Mature? What makes you think that?" Will shrugged, not expecting a response. The reason was obvious. Duty called. As a musician, he had to keep a professional standard, so he had to be more serious. In addition, the more well known he was, the more he would have to seem presentable so he wouldn't embarrass himself and everyone working with him, though he didn't mind embarrassing himself.
Will chuckled. Heh? Boring? Funny you say that. I was going to head over to the museum later, but I've never been there before. He'd ask her later as soon as he answered her question. "Well, Candice, life is busy in the world of famous musicians. Practice, dress up, perform. Record, brush your teeth, shower, try not to be political... That's the short version." Politics. So far, Will had tried his best to stay out of it. However, there was something about famous people, and how they always ended up in politics, on one side or another eventually.

Her eyes lit up as William explained to her what it was like, and in a flash it was gone. "You mean, it's not as exciting as I was hoping it to be, and that politics and celebrities don't mix?" Candice sighed in a disappointed tone but shrugged. "I was never going to become famous anyway. I think you are a lot more mature now, a teenage boy would never be able to handle the stress of being an adult, paying bills, work, children and family members, and being famous must add to the stress huh?"

Aki never got it, but Huilliame was proud of his car. When she wasnt around he worked on this and his motorbikes out in a garage on the outskirts of town. "Of course. So what flavour of ice cream you want to get in tonight?" he said, opening the heavy metal door on his side and unlocking the passenger door. He clambered into the heavy chair, strapping himself in and starting the engine, flicking through the music player to find his Creedence records. "What? its a guy thing." he said, looking at her.

Oh, no. Looks like I should have phrased that differently, Will thought as Candice sighed in disappointment. "Ah, uh, let me rephrase that. I try not to be political, but in reality, it does mix. If that's what you call exciting, then being a famous musician fits that standard. Heck, if you become a famous photographer, that'd be just as controversial or even more! What are you talking about, Candice? Of course, you could be famous. " Will couldn't deny that politics was exciting as much as he tried to stay away from it. It seemed that maturity had gotten the best of him this time. The old Will would have replied snidely. "Stress? Ha. Depends on what you define as stress there, wouldnt it, Candice? Besides, you seem to have some to deal with too." She had a child. He didn't. Paying bills? There were too many to count. Luckily, he didn't have to handle all of them thanks to having a manager.

Aki only laughed. "I've figured that out by now. And something with chocolate, but it doesn't matter. 'slong as it's edible and frozen." she sat back in the seat, watching him for the moment. She couldn't exactly do much else. "Here, drive. I'd rather not have Logan die of anxiety before we get there." she said, pushing his hand away and looking for the records herself.

"Well, that was nice." Mal grumbled to herself, and then sighed. "Come on- I don't want to miss the train." The tiny female led the way out of the docks and to the train station after descending underground via escalator. All of the trains were underground so they didn't take up much space above ground. She managed to get them on the train right before it left, and soon had them riding to the park they were supposed to meet up at.
When they got there, she gave some people a dirty look for muttering amongst themselves about her jacket. "It's like they've never seen the symbol before." she muttered.
(( Moving things along a bit so we can get at least a few people back in >3> ))

He sighed, turning the keys in the exhaust, the heavy car roaring into life. He pulled out the parking bay, out the park and onto the road. Once they were going, the Chevy seemed to move like a car a quarter of its age at least without effort. "At least I didnt take the bike." He said, stopping her hand when she had reached the song he wanted. Commotion played over the large speakers, the bands primitive blues rock clattering and hollering like they were live in the back.

"Because you wouldn't have the music?" Aki asked, glancing to him and letting her hands rest in her lap, absently tapping out the beat against her leg. Even if she didn't understand the car itself, she didn't not appreciate the music system, in both the car and the house.

Fulgrim brushed his way through some people, he had left his gloves with his bike and he rather enjoyed causing a tad-bit of chaos as he slipped past, touching an exposed arm here, brushing a shoulder their. He derived endless amusement watching people randomly loose their balance as they became disoriented or look around wideeyed and panicked as they lost their sight for a split second, he was careful to only set off those who he was sure weren't evolved like him. In essence it wasn't too difficult, although there was an unusally high population of mutants in the city, the majority of people were still just regular humans, although now and again he was known to get these things wrong.
Sliding past Will he closed his eyes for a moment and brushed the back of his exposed hand, concentrating for a moment on his power he momentarily amplified Will's sense of sound to twice it's normal level. He took two steps more nad then paused so he could watch from the corner of his eyes what the outcome of his work had been.

"That and I'd be doing jumps." he said, turning a corner. They were about sixteen blocks from the shop. He slowed down, moving along lethargically in the crosstown traffic. He leaned back in the big steel and leather chair and sighed.

Scythe de Zaran Oh, no. Looks like I should have phrased that differently, Will thought as Candice sighed in disappointment. "Ah, uh, let me rephrase that. Luckily, he didn't have to handle all of them thanks to having a manager. She shook her head and laughed at Will's remark to cheer her up. "I don't want to be famous, I just kind of like envying the famous celebrities. I would hate to be famous. I would never get a break and one little slip up and everyone would swarm on me like flies. I would rather be normal, well mostly normal, seeing as I am a mutant." Candice scooted closer to William before attacking him with a surprise hug. "He he he!"

Will raised an eyebrow as Candice's voice suddenly became louder. His ears also started picking up more noises besides the ones that were already there but louder. He blinked in surprise as Candice surprised hugged him. "My, my, Candice. No need to laugh so loudly with this ambushing hug of yours!"
This was silly. Will knew his ears were somewhat fine tuned to detect differences in music since it was a skill as a learned musician. However, the sudden increase in sounds seemed strange. As he was hugged, Will sighed and glimpsed around briefly, searching for if traffic had suddenly increased. He found none.
It can't be the food... Will thought. Or being in this city is plain silly... The increased noise was irritating and distracting to say the least, and if it persisted for a long time, Will was going to have problems practicing later.

"I bet I could probably beat you there just walking..." Aki sighed, letting her head fall back against the headrest. She had little patience for traffic, though she didn't complain that much about it. Not compared to what she used to, especially when she had come after being in Alaska for most the year. No one, to this mess on the roads. She hadn't been happy, as you could imagine.

She pulled back and laughed quietly putting her hands in her lap. "Sorry, I am just happy to see one of my old friends." Candice sighed and leaned back slightly and looked at Will. "Is, something wrong? Sorry if I hurt your ears with my laugh." It had been years and everything about Candice had changed, except her voice, her laugh, and her appearance, besides a few inches of course.
