My father has similar tastes to mine (he listens to 3 Doors Down and some Linkin Park on occasion); my mother does not know some of my music is Linkin Park...I remember once mentioning that Linkin Park did "In the End" and she was disgusted by it. However, she has heard some of their songs, and she does dislike them, but she lets me listen to them.

Dark-Flamed-Angel sheik_3x my parents never used to let me listen to LP songs, but after they heard some of their songs, they decided to let me Lucky you, I have to make sure that when ever my parents are near that I play another song that isn't from Linkin Park, so they don't go all weird on me. sweatdrop I know the feeling. I turn the volume down if my mother is coming, or change it to "Numb" or "In the End" (she has heard them and likes them---sort of).

Parents probably hate LP because a lot of their song are d-e-f-i-a-n-t, and they don't want their kids to pick up on that...me, I listen cuz the beat rocks.

My parents don't like it when I play LP loud. Mum doesn't mind it too much, although she doesn't love it. Dad is against me listening to it because Chester is screaming, so that MUST mean he's swearing. Blah, it annoys me when he gets like that.

but...no...
She told me I should give up Linkin Park for Lint!!! gonk I was F*** THAT! Ill give up pop instead b***h!!! lol
