Umicho nuzzled her mate in return, her mind racing. "Do you know this area very well? It is new to me. I do not know of any places to live."

Daniel shrugged, "I know it fairly well, but I do not think there are any prides in the immediate area, if that's what you mean." He glanced around, but was surprised by the absence of his father. It was just like him to leave without mention... Though Daniel had gotten good at tracking him down. "But if you mean places to quietly reside for a bit, I believe there is a series of caves in an out-of-place sort of cliff.

"Could we head that way? I would like to talk to you about another topic on the way..." Umicho was a little nervous, but she felt she needed to ask him soon. She would wait until they started to walk though.

"Sure," he said with a deep nod, turning and starting in that direction only agter stretching his wings and adjusting them, shedding a couple of feather in the process. "Oh? What about?"

As she followed him, she took a deep breath. "Were you ever thinking about possibly having...little ones...?" She watched him closely for a reaction.

Daniel looked down at her, brows raised, "Of course I've thought about it," he replied, only mildly surprised that the topic came up. He obviously didn't seem worried, though.

Umicho licked his cheek, gently rubbing up against his side. His answer made her very happy. They would have cubs sooner or later.

Daniel purred quietly as she rubbed against him... Obviously that had been the answer she was hoping for, and the thought made his chuckle.

Umicho purred happily, wrapping her tail around his as they walked. She never though she'd fall so fully for anybody...but for Daniel, she'd fallen hard. Curiously, she looked around for the first signs of a cave until she finally spotted one. "Is that a cave Daniel?"

Daniel raised a wing over his head to block the glaring sun, and he squinted a bit "I think so," he said with a smile. "Let's check it out..."

Daniel jogged after her, chuckled as she darted ahead. He wasn't in the mood for a race, but he loved watching her get so excited.

Umicho wasn't really in it to win, she was just playing around now. When she reached a stone jutting out of a cliff she turned and ran back toward him, then batted at his tail feathers, giggling.
