From the Bridge of the Argonaut, Deputy Director Kombatta calmly reguarded the notice on the screen beside him displaying "Code RED." The acting SHIELD chief turned to the ship captain of the helicarrier, "Reinforce our CAP, and have an airstrike ready if it is neccessary."

Then, Kombatta depressed a button on the console and spoke into the mike, "Agent Quartermain, You will be leading the counterstrike against the insurgents with full Mandroid and Guardian support."

After sometime, Brock had made his way into this world's S.H.I.E.L.D. facility. He also was not alone, over his back was a rather blue robot; Megaman X. He was tired of hefting the dead weight around the base, so, he dumped X on a nearby table. For how short the little guy was, he weighed a ton when he was out.

X didn't stir, his eyes closed to the world. He had shutdown for a while, if at best to either conserve energy or in the sense that he was knocked unconscious. He still was new to this world, what little of it he had come into contact with. It would be mind blowing if he was aware that he also had alternate reality forms and one had actually come before him. However, he didn't know, maybe that was the way it was supposed to be.

He went about a dream in his quiet sleep. He could see Dr. Light, alive and well. Zero and Sigma.........he was actually helping people cross the street; he was no longer a Maverick. X fought for this reason, he fought to maintain peace and stop Mavericks. Sigma was once one of them, till he turned Maverick. X didn't enjoy destroying the Mavericks, but knew it was what needed to be done.

Now what he was seeing was old enemies as allies, no, friends and his friends as well. Those he cherished so dear, were happy. A smile crossed his lips, but he kept asleep. Brock took note of the robot's smile, he truly wasn't like any ordinary bot.

"Where's Fury when you need that idiot?"Brock went to search around for Colonel Fury, kicking things over in his impatience. He shouted Nick's name greatly for a good minute before he stopped. He returned to X and sat down by the robot, thinking of what to do.

"Soldier, we would like you to push the final button to wake up your father."

"Thank you."

James walked up to the console and pushed the button as the container started to thaw and Captain America started to waken up. He was still unconscious, by the time that they gave him the medicine that will heal his heart. Luckily they had tested James over and over to see if heart would be the same but because he was born with the Super Soldier serum in him already his body was born perfect. James wondered if his father would know that he was his son right from the start or would he not know at all. He waited patiently to find out what would happen.

Captain America and his son went up to the mess hall, after he was all checked and clear to go. James and his father sat down and had a long conversation about everything that James has done, and things that I have happened in the world. His Father wanted to get moving so him and his father went to a gym and the both of them got into the ring. They were in the ring for a good couple of hours going at it. They both knew how the other was going to fight they used the same fighting style. James had learned more military fighting styles that he through in to the mix. At the end of the season there was no winner or looser. they both won, because after 20 years they were reunited.

The area had been deathly quiet for quite some time. Nothing stirred, not even dust particles which had settled in their places. And then, dark clouds gathered in the sky above, low rumbles of thunder sounded, and a small object shot down from the sky like a bullet.

There had been a death here, one that had been very important in regards to the being who had caused the Merge. He thought he was safe now... But as this Black Lantern Ring descended upon the corpse of the Abolisher, the being would not be safe. No-one would be safe.

The ring itself got close to the decaying body, and latched itself onto the finger of the Abolisher, the ring itself creating root-like tendrils that wormed their way into the corpse's rotting skin and spread like an unstoppable virus. His reddish skin became dull and grayed, with visible veins and a rather unhealthy appearance overall. His face became more skeletal and sunken than normal, with his jawbones and cheekbones visible under the skin. His hair, too, changed, becoming a sickly gray in color. The hole in the Abolisher's body seemed to heal itself within a few scant seconds as his new costume stretched itself over it: The most significant changes were the all-black color, and the silvery insignia of the Black Lantern Corps on his chest.

As the transformation completed itself, an etheral voice spoke:

"Khorne of Anacortis... RISE."

[Enter CAPTAIN COSMOS from LATVERIA ((Yeah, he hasn't left yet officially, but I dun cair))]

Almost immediately after Khorne made his proclamation, a shining silvery light appeared in front of, and above, the new Black Lantern, and a tall figure that seemed to glow with immesurable power appeared when it faded.

"Servant of the Dread Ones," Captain Cosmos said in a simple acknowledgement of just what Abolisher had become.

The (literal) cosmic being's voice was toneless, as usual: "I am Captain Cosmos, so named because I am the Power Cosmic incarnate. I came into being seconds after your old enemy Xiao created the Merged Multiverse, and after traversing the new Multiverse for some time, I came to this planet. And you..."

Cosmos lifted a finger and pointed it at Khorne, no emotion in his face or voice as he continued: "You are merely a puppet for the Dread Ones."

Cosmos was unfazed. "Your destruction meant the end of a reign of terror. Nekron brought you back; but I cannot allow you to remain this way. For the good of Life itself, you must be ended..."

He raised a hand, and sent a blast of the Power Cosmic at the new Black Lantern. "... Permanently."
