Said natural and passive dragon magic couldn't save Ialo a second time. He grudgingly allowed the psychic to pick his mind.... For the next few minutes, at least. Ialo had time to kill. "I don't know," he said stiffly. "To both questions. Although, if I had to guess, I'd say that you really shouldn't try getting past a dragon's defenses with a nuke or two, and I swear to God if you try that again I will start thinking of terrible things. And that someone is probably to pose as Zephyr."
Ialo glanced at Kai. "Riiight....... You're going to get sued one day."

Alphonse disappeared for a moment, and then reappeared. His jacket was torn to shreds and he was bleeding profusely. Three large, bloody claw marks raked across his chest. "...Yeah, I'll bet money that that isn't the real Zephyr." He started to laugh as everyone stared in horror at his wounds. His entire body seemed to bend and morph, as if some sort of visual warp were taking an effect upon him. When it was done, he stood in pristine condition once again. "I'm sorry about that...hahaha...I just...haha...couldn't resist myself. But yeah, seriously that person is the spitting image of Zephyr. Perhaps we're looking at this all wrong, and this is the fake..." He looked to the dragonid, as Zephyr called himself.

A tic reappeared in Ialo's left eye after Alphonse's trick was revealed. "You..... b*****d........" There was incoherent mumbling in between that was most likely a variety of cursing. "One of them is fake, and I'm pretty sure it's not this one." He gently punched Zephyr in the shoulder. Nope, the signature seemed authentic. Everything had a signature, and it's much like a fingerprint, impossible to copy. Even between clones, there would be variations in the signature due to differences in power levels, temperament, and place of birth. A signature was DNA with a complete history attached.
Meanwhile, he had completely forgotten about the Rinaldi siblings.

Kai ignored alphonse. "HAHA! good luck with that trying to sue someone under the claims that I sent them to hell and back." he shrugged it off and looked at alphonse "nice I gotta remember that one."

Despite all this, Alphonse seemed in quite the good mood; a rarity for him. Delving into Ialo's, Kai's, and Zephyr's minds, he urged to them to throw their right arms skywards in a pointing gesture while shouting "QUICK! TO THE BATMOBILE!" in perfect unison. Needless to say he found this hysterical.

And needless to say, Ialo was extremely grateful for the shield that made them invisible to the rest of the street. And while the scene was amusing (and appropriate) it nonetheless angered Ialo. About half a second after finishing the exclamation, the dragon gathered his wits, blinking, before his eyes turned bright blue and slitted and he violently shut Alphonse out again, the force almost strong enough to physically repel the psychic. It was a bit more difficult this time, as Alphonse had a more powerful hold.
"You do that again and I will send ten thousand volts coursing through your heart." The threat was not a light one, as anyone who had seen Ialo use his powers even once knew that such an attack was well within his range of abilities.

"Hmmm...Well now...So that's the place I'll conquer when I die." Danni said, rubbing her chin as the initial shock wore off. "Nice trick, tripolar guy. Don't go attacking him, bro, he was just proving a point." Danni warned when she heard Ambrose's teeth grind together in anger. "Whatever. But keep your hands off my sister. I don't practice dark magic, but I can still kick your a**..." He muttered, and Danni rolled her eyes.
The Rinaldi's were a triad of magical powers and abilities. Danni practiced the dark arts, while Lia practiced white magic. Ambrose specialized in protective spells and charms. When the three of them chose to cooperate and fight together, they made for one hell of a team. But of course, these people didn't know that.

"right, and no I doubt you'll even rule over the first domain. also I showed you that because someone who wields dark magic as "freehandedly" as you just shown me will easily misuse powers. What if you get mad at your sister and want to cast a spell to mute her? One mispronounced word can burn her to a crisp, or you could send her ten levels deeper the I just showed you." He looked at her with scolding eyes, "and what if I were to have been a full demon that took your use of magic to insult. I would have likely kept you there." He thought for a moment about what he said. "man now I'm sounding like Ike."
He shrugged, then he looked at Ambrose. "Just calm yourself... consider it giving her a life lesson on the dark magic scale." Kai looked between all three of them. "Oh by the way I'm the schools unofficial sentry, I make sure that the spirits that are attracted to the school don't possess and or kill you guys."

Danni shrugged, though her eyes went hard when he mentioned attacking Lia. "I wouldn't do anything unless I was certain it would work. Simple transfiguration spells like that, they don't hurt anybody. Anything higher than that I don't use unless I absolutely have to. I'm not that heartless." She muttered the last sentence under her breath, her eyes lowering to glare at the ground at her feet.
No one in her family, she thought, and no one here either, could possibly understand how hard she fought to keep her powers in check, to keep them from overpowering her. Those little transfiguration spells were what she used to rid herself of excess magical energy that built up, threatening to burst out in the form of a dangerous spell beyond her control. Not even her parents knew exactly how much she knew about the dark arts, how much she'd achieved, how much she'd learned and progressed.
What Kai had shown her moments before couldn't compare to what haunted her nightmares every night, of what she saw lurking in the shadows every day. Lia, with her white magic and bubbly personality, she inspired the company of butterflies, friendly woodland creatures that would never harm a soul. Ambrose's shield charms brought to mind protective mother bears guarding their cubs, guardians. But Danni, with her dark arts and secretive ways...she was the one that the true monsters came to.
She'd seen her own versions of the boogeyman, of vampires, demons, and werewolves. She knew the things that went bump in the night were real, that she had to fear the thing that lurked in the shadowy corners, under beds and in closets. She knew those things that many considered legends and myths were actually true, and it was her responsibility to make sure Lia and Ambrose never discovered the harsh reality that there were some things even they could not protect their baby sister from.
"Despite what you think, Kai, I do know some things. The dark arts are to be respected, feared, to be practiced with a trained eye and a steady hand. Dark magic, real dark magic, not just transformation tricks, is not to be made light of. Because there are some things in this world that, if we as dark magic users let loose, would destroy everything we've ever worked to build." She said, thinking of the spells that she'd practiced, in the dark of night under the full moon, the clearing in the woods acting as her ritual spot as she lifted her hands to the stars and conjured up the dark clouds.

"at least you know that." He shrugged as the dark runes on his eyes grew and both his wings turned demonic. "I'm gonna have to make sure to watch you" He smirked and went close to her ear whispering. "Your not alone in the world of darkness." he stood straight again, and looked towards Ialo. "I think Its about time we get the hell out of here?"

Ialo looked over at Kai. "Oh dear god PLEASE, anywhere but here." A few minutes with Alphonse was tolerable, but over half an hour, and the dragon-raised-businessman would take a page from an old high school nemesis and try to kill someone, or at least bash a couple walls in.

"vary well, time to go to the school." He began chanting a few dark glyphs as a dark purple circle surrounded all of them. "citsym niatnuof!" as the circle closed on them disappearing taking everyone with them.
a second later the circle reappeared at the school. along with everyone that was in it. a female voice spoke inside the circle "thank you for using Kai's dark transportation service, please exit the circle by using any of the exits found to the front, rear, and to either side of the circle. thank you and please enjoy you day." Kai stepped out of the circle and looked at it "I gotta stop making it do that." He muttered a few words, then shrugged it off as the circle disappeared from under them.

"Maybe you're not half bad, Kai. Remember, I said maybe." Danni said slowly, pushing down her hood so for the first time her whole face was exposed. Her dyed dark blue hair, that was actually black with a redish tint, went down her back in slight waves down to her waist, and she looked out at them with eyes that frequently changed from blue-green to a murky grayish color. Her skin was tanned from the island sun, though childish freckles still sprinkled across her nose.
Her nose itself was just slightly off center, the result of a broken nose from when she'd fallen out of a tree a few years back. She had a small mouth that was fully capable of smiling or scowling. She had dimples when she bothered to smile, but not many people ever saw those. She wore no makeup, which suited the finely rounded cheek bones with the slightly pointed chin. A scar ran along the bottom of her chin, a reminder of what could happen if you were careless with magic. Still, she had a type of quiet beauty that was never flaunted or acknowledged, a type of style that could be envied easily if someone could see past her tough exterior, past the barriers she'd built around herself.
Lia, when she pulled the hood of her cloak down to shake her hair out, was also shown fully for the first time. Her curly golden hair reached to just below her shoulders, her nose right in the center of her face, delicately arched brows complimenting sky blue eyes. She had pale, freckleless skin, that was almost always covered with a thin layer of makeup. Her painted mouth was large and always smiling to reveal perfect white teeth. She was a beauty and knew it, and wanted others to know it and acknowledge it as well. Though she and Danni were sisters, they couldn't have been more different in either looks or personalities.
Ambrose removed his hood as well, since frankly the cloaks got hot after a while. His hair was a deep brown color that had once been a dirty blond when he'd been a boy. He had sharp, angular cheek bones, and a slight cleft in his chin. Most often his mouth was set in a firm line, but when he smiled a single dimple would peek out. His eyes were a mossy green color, but could harden and darken when he got angry. He had his father's dark complexion, his face unfreckled as well. He was handsome in his own right, his secretive attitude making him all the more desirable, though of course he didn't know that.
Together, the three would never have looked related at all, but it didn't matter to them. They knew they were family, and that was all that counted. Lia, getting impatient of just standing around, decided it was time to bug Danni. So she used the forbidden name.
"Isadora, must you stand around with that rufian look on your face? Don't you know it's not becoming in the slightest?" She demanded, holding back a smirk when Danni tensed, her teeth grinding together. "What was that, Ophelia Jordan? Did you say something?" Danni demanded, ignoring Lia's shriek of protest at her hated middle name.
"Why yes, Isadora, I did. I must say, you may as well be a man, the way you dress. I simply don't understand it! Here we are, talking to these perfectly charming gentlemen, and you not only turn them into frogs, but you don't seem a bit concerned about the fact that you're walking around in sliced up rags!" Danni snorted at the 'perfectly charming gentlemen' comment, holding back her temper even as, despite her resolve, her breath was literally steaming as she let it out between pursed lips.
"There is nothing wrong with the way I dress, dammit, and now isn't the time! You can save the lecture I won't listen to for some other time, because God knows I'm going to hear it again anyway." She said, looking down at her clothes. They weren't rags, for God's sake, they were just comfortable. What was wrong if the jeans had a few bleached out spots and a couple little holes? Who cared if the tight fitting tee shirt had a few obcene suggestions and a sauce stain on it? No one but Lia ever complained, and Lia just liked to complain. So it didn't matter what she thought, Danni thought. She wouldn't care, and she wouldn't let it make a difference...Yeah, right. Easier said than done.

It was then that Danni noticed that, during their argument, they'd been transported to the school. "Well, that's convenient. Didn't even notice we were moving." She murmured, even as she felt Ambrose begin to play with her hair. It was his way, she knew, of giving her the subtle contact that would remind her she wasn't alone, and that some people looked past what a person wore. "Drop it, Lia, just drop it for now. And for the love of all that's deep fried and sugar coated, stop calling me Isadora." She said, rolling ehr eyes in exhaspiration.

Kai looked at the three. "reminds me of 5 years ago." He laughed a bit remembering the odd alliance that was formed between him, koy the angel and Ike the demon. "alright scene you are a month early the schools open to you. just try not to raise the dead it takes forever to get them back in the ground." his angelic wing replaced one of his demonic , and his eye runes receded back to being slim lines.
