The skeleton nods his head and makes a few hand gestures. He raises his hand in a hand-shake kind of position.
The old man ponders for a bit before pointing down the darkened side in which he came. "There's another stone door down there which should lead to the altar room. Unfortunatley, I can hear some groaning behind it so I haven't really checked. Would you care to try?"

Lazarus nods, a twisted smile crossing his lips as he mentally prepairs a spell. Stepping into the direction the elderly man pointed, Lazarus motions to Draemus and the gentleman, "Stay behind me. Anything that groans and lurches at us will wish it had never done so... if these things do wish..." Lazarus shakes his head, and continues walking down to the stone door, and tests to see if the door is secure, or opened.

The stone door is held shut by a fresh plank of wood placed between two slots on your side. It would be pretty easy to simply lift this plank out of the slot because it seems a recent addition. However, anything on either side could just smash through it.
You definitly hear groans from the other side. From a smal crack at the top of the door, the area seems light by a flickering flame.

Lazarus motions to his companions to step back. Moving a few steps from the door, in the opposite direction, Lazarus charges a simple spell, contorting the ice from his Artic Blast into a simple sword, which he plans to use to cut away the wooden plank. He nods to Draemus, a signal ment to indicate that whatever's on the other side, the two of them will flank the man/beast/demon/creature.
With a thrust of his arms forward, the palms of his hands facing the door, Lazarus unleashes the spell at the wooden plank, splintering and shattering the wooden seal.

The wood shatters instantly with a loud crack. Through some kind of mechanical systmems, the doors slowly slides open steadily.
Infront of you, you see a large hulking figure. A grotesque abomination which looks like some necromancer simply stuck spare parts together. It seemed to be feeding on the body of an unfortunate explorer. All around the room, there are un-reanimated bodies of zombies on fire.
The thing groans; Draemus hisses in return. Although it appears quite injured, you now have its full attention.
??? will attack, and use an action if applicable Draemus will attack, and use a spell/action if fit.

Lazarus smiles, jumping back, and twisting his fingers together. As the spell builds, Lazarus smiles, his eyes lighting up. "I hope you enjoyed your meal, you monsterous beast, because it shall be your last! Artic Blast!"

))Sorry, can't really give you an excuse besides me screwing myself over in RL and being too groggy/angry to bother doing much. I missed this guild((
The beast falls over. It groans in pain before standing up and roaring. It was a shoddy piece of work. With arms flailing all over the place, and bits of flesh falling off; anybody with a small smattering of necromancy could do better. This things looks like its been here for a while. And what once was a great undead beast, was reduced to a rather pitiful shadow. Battered Abomination [32] *Lieutenant* A- 0 D- 8 M- 0 L- [50] 10 E- 0 Abillities: Shed [2], SA: [3], Resist Magic [6], Stun Defense [3] Actions: Spellblock, Shield Bash, Special Block Shed [2] Upon loss of all HP, decrease your attack, defense, and life stats by half (round down). You revive to the new full health with these stats and keep them until the end of the dungeon, but cannot use any actions of spells for the remainder of the combat which you fell. Abomination will use Spellblock, and SA a target.
Draemus will attack, use stunning blow, and Attribute leech
DM will remind himself to create some tougher monsters that are better at dealing with magic casters and remember to post more.
((That abillity fair? I've never really been good at testing new things))

((First is the target, Second is the thing's help, third is the stun.))
BA: 40/50 10 [Overblast] Laz [30-12-8=10] [-Negated-] [Attack] Draemus [-2 Defense] [-Stun Resisted-] ~+~
Laz: 14/20 6 [SA] BA
Draemus: 20/20 [+2 Defense] [SP:3/3] ~+~
The abomination charges towards you rather clumsily. Letting go a rabid warcry, the thing scratches at you with its many arms, legs, and sets of teeth. However, the thing seemed rather hopeless, and failed to do anything of real value. Draemus manages to hit the thing in the center of its face with his weapon. The thing staggers back, giving you some room to breathe. Suddenly, the abomination roars a rather melodic tune.
A robed spirit fazes through the wall behind the abomination. Letting out a shriek, it blows on an old horn. The etheral sound echos through the catacombs, answered by cries of all sorts from all directions. Whether these be real, illusion, or a trick of resonance you don't know. Dropping the horn, it pulls off his hood to reveal a flame-blackened skull with a tatooed forehead. Its eyes and the cross-like 8-pointed star upon its forehead glow with a blood-red flame seldom seen in necromancy. However, you reconize that as a sign from demonology. Funeral pyres for high-ranking cultists to be exact.
Draemus hisses in hate. The spirit hisses back.
The old scholar stands behind you and Draemus dumbfounded. "Aparently Draemus doesn't follow his namesake."
Abomination will continue ??? will cast a spell, and attack Draemus will attack, and stun if nessicary

((Seeing as how it was my post, and it's been a while since I've been here, yet we're still in the middle of a dungeon, I'll post.))
Lazerous grins, cracking his neck lightly, and looking at this large target. "So you want a fight, do you? Well the best offense is a good defense!"
Lazerous will cast Anti-Magic wisps AP confused ? MP: 3 (I believe? I know AMW only costs me 2, and I gain 2 a turn...)
