I'm gonna break the rules on this one... This isn't my "favorite" pairing but it's one I really love, despite the fact that it isn't real or canon at all.
Sain X Princilla is my favorite "Oh it should have been!" pairing because I absolutely love the deep connection they share in their final support. When it comes to Sain's and Pricilla's possible suitors, I just don't get the same feeling of closeness as I do in their own support together. In it, Pricilla tells Sain that he makes her happy, with his smile and confident attitude. And Sain, for once actually show a somewhat softer, more thoughtful side of himself. In the end, they both dread the thought of being seperated and... and... it just bugs me that they can't share an ending together! Not even a Heath/Guy ending where she's forced to give him up in tears. I was so disappointing when I finished the game that time >.<
Well that's not how it went down in my mind. I think Pricilla and Sain belong together, and have a happy ending with the princess riding off with her knight whee

I prefer Priscilla/Erk, just so she doesn't end up miserable as she typically does.
It occurs to me I haven't posted in this thread before. Why don't we fix that. Bolded is a particular favorite. Underlined has the benefit of being canonical in some fashion or other.

I also like Ike/Soren a lot. I'm no fan of yaoi, but I still think its actually... quite romantic when you think about it. Their story together... and the conversation they have near the end is so cute owo

Eliwood/Serra - Idk why, but the mental image of Serra smacking Eliwood upside the head every time he says the wrong thing makes for much amusement. Plus, I just think Eliwood would actually treat her like the "princess" she is. xDD

And as I was rereading the talk of Sain, I totally agree that he should've had someone. But the idea of a SainxHarem isn't too bad, either.
Granted, most of my "main" pairings are yaoi ones, I will probably refrain from posting them because I'm embarrassed and I don't want to upset anyone.
I will post one of my favorite yaoi ones and that's in path of radiance's IkexReyson.
I found their conversation and friendship to be very cute. And maybe I took it out of context, but it just sounded like when Ike said he'd watch after him, It felt like a promise, not just an in-passing statement of 'yeah, sure, i'll be there'. >w< But then, most of my pairings aren't canon and make NO sense at all because i'm a crackwhore.
Speaking of, I also found JanafxShinon rather interesting. I don't ship it, but I found the idea of Shinon wanting to learn more from Janaf interesting since he doesn't offer respect to many people and for him to offer it to a laguz of all people is very rare, indeed. =D
But then again, he has Rolf. And I will stop there before I go on a tangent about this.
Hmm... What other pairings do I like... *thinks hard* Dude, I don't remember. It's been forever since I've played ANY of the games. The last one I played was Shadow Dragon and that was forever ago and my dwindling memory fails me. Urrr.... I'll post more as I remember them.

I have a rather soft spot for Sain, so I may be biased, but I don't believe Sain is really that perverted. As far as I know, he never shows any clear signs of being a peeping tom. Just cause he hits on women, doesn't mean he's only interested in getting in their "pants", so to speak. Hell, even I'm flirty, but that doesn't necessarily make me perverted. As we can clearly see from his support with Rebbecca, he's perfectly capable of devoting himself to a single woman. I view Sain as merely being honest in his quest for love, and chases after it with the grace of a drunk at a bar haha. But that's what makes him such an amusing character. I can't think of a single Sain support that doesn't make me laugh.
