"People scare easily. The war will make them scared and they'll panic. To see spirit forms of their nobles will frighten them. It's unavoidable."
Tala spoke absently, still trying to concentrate on Valkyrie. What was wrong with her? Why hadn't she woken up yet?
"Your Majesty..."

Illusion did not respond to Hidama's voice, or any shaking that may have been attached too it. Her test was one that she would never be able to share, for it was more along the lines of emotional pain than anything else. She opened her eyes but couldn't see anything. She could not feel the breeze against her blue spheres. "Hidama!" She cried, grasping at anything she could find.

Talia turned her head towards the voice, where she saw a girl standing there. She was about to tell her about Illusion when Illusion sprang to life again. She whipped her head back around, too fast. She felt a slight dizziness but ignored it. "Illusion! Are you okay? What happened?"

Colm turned to Kiro, "Good, it's good that I have some support. As for the matter of scaring people, that is unavoidable. I think if I can reason with them they will understand that it isn't just for our safety but for the entire nations. Now for the more pressing matter." The king reminded himself of the note, "We need to move all of you guys to safer locations. I will remain here, just because it is technically my city. I was thinking that we hid you guys in each others nations. Earth you will be in water, water in earth, fire in wind, and wind in fire. This way we will now that if each capital city is attacked we will not lose you guys and if any of us are spies you will be taken care of. Myself and Illusions are the only one we will know where everyone is, deal?" The vampire was standing now, his diamond skin brighter then ever. "So, agreed?"

Getting aggravated that the King still did nothing to help Valkyrie, Tala scowled. "I am not going anywhere. I want to fight. Besides, I'm merely a Lady and not nearly as important as a Duke or a Princess like the others here. And if you won't help Valkyrie then I will, Your Majesty."
She slumped down next to Kiro and closed her eyes. She willed herself into the spiritual plane, her body slumping over. When she could see herself, she looked around, hoping to see Valkyrie as well.
She found her, slumped over and crying. She ran to her and put her arms around her and pulled her to her in comfort. "Valkyrie! What happened!"

Startled, Valkyrie looked up to see Tala who looked a bit more...transparent...than usual. However, that didn't entirely register with Valkyrie at the moment.
Still sobbing, she attempted to explain to her friend.
"Tala...Emery...he...he killed Eien...and...I think he killed...my father, too."
She leaned her head against Tala's shoulder, and continued to cry.
((Ehhh...drama. I can't wait until Valkyrie can go back to normal. xP))

Illusion found herself speechless, calmed by Hidama's care. She reached out towards the voice of Talia, but she couldn't see her hand. She took the other and pried her eye open but still saw nothing. She tried to reach out again, narrowing her gaze to try and see the slim arm, then she burst into tears again and had to repress screams. Her heart was racing, tears flowed that she would never see. She looked like may start convulsing from the shock of what had happened to her eyes.

Xin woke up finding herself on the floor. 'How did i get here?' As she stood up she noticed that Violet did not seem to be in the best mood. She walked over to where she was standing and tapped her on the shoulder only to see her hand go right through her. She jumped back startled. "Violet!" she then yelled. She was more than a little confused at this point.

The king didn't even seem to care about her rant. He just kept on talking about his 'kingly' duties. She sighed rolling her eyes and turning around to look at Xin who now seemed to be awake and confused. "Xin, its okay, this is just part of the spell that the king placed upon us" she then paused to turn and glare in his direction. "All you have to do to be back in your body is imagine yourself in it." She smiled a fake smile at Xin. Her temper was still not gone, it had only merely just come up to the surface.

"Paraaaaa!"
Luke's voice carried over the wind, enhanced by his desperation. He rushed toward the temple, pulled by the feeling of some strong power. A crowd of birds blew into the sky as he rushed past, then were paralyzed by the massive electric currents that trailed in his wake.
The scenery vanished behind him in a green and golden haze, mountains bursting into view over the hillocks of grains and wheat. He grinned wryly and leapt into the air, gathering the wind and blasting himself over the peaks where the temple was.
He dropped out of the sky, releasing all of his electricity so that the wards wouldn't block him out. Once he felt them pass by him, he grabbed the air around and built a cushion rapidly- the ground was coming up quite fast. He piled in more and more, then braced himself, wincing in anticipation.
The tiles and stone broke around him, though he bounced away, unharmed, and rolled to his feet. He looked around perfunctorily and started to call out for Illusion again when he saw her. He froze, wondering for a moment if it really was her. She looked so sad, so broken. He took a hesitant step toward her, then vanished and appeared by her side. He reached out slowly (why doesn't she react to me) and touched her free hand, noting the tears running down the corners of her blankly staring eyes.
"Lus? What's wrong?"

She reached out to touch a face. "Hidama? Who is this?" Nothing was the same. Nothing would ever be the same. Who was this? He called her Lus, only...Lucas called her Lus. She chocked down another rising scream. "Lucas?" It was all she could say without breaking again. She would never see him again. She clung close to Hidama, bringing her hand back from Luke's face. Hidama was the only thing she could feel existed other than the ground. The cold hard ground of the temple. I want to leave...I am sick of all this!!! First PalpiSol, then the Castle, then my eyes?! My Queen dies and leaves me a curse... She started to shake all over.

Ellen watched as this scene unfolded. 'Whats going on... i can't tell' She then ran closer walking up to the same girl she had been talking to earlier. "Whats going on...." She then looked down to see a girl crying into the others shirt.

"Yes. Lucas," he murmured. "I've been looking for you..."
He looked at her wondering what all had happened in his absence. She was so changed.
"Hidama. What happened here? All of these people feel wrong." His eyes flashed coldly. "What happened to Illusion?"

Xin nodded at Violet turning around to stare at her body. As she followed Violets instructions she found herself on the floor and looking to be a solid again. She stood up wiping the dust off her skirt and looked back towards Violet "So whats going on now?" She noticed that everyone seemed to be dealing with their own problems and the room seemed quiet.
