"That is the thing, none of the statues are crying. They are all smiling. My grandfather said tht they weeped when the Relinquished Hope had attaced them, but it wasn't until now that I made the connection between the statues and the elders." Kert explained.

Devin walked to his dorm after getting his steak hambuger from the lunch hall. He looked at the second bed in the room. I wonder who i'm pared up with this year.

"welll the lines is, tears are collected...maybe we have too find the tears and place them on the statues...but if there smiling it won't look right..." Kogi said thinking outloud again. He sighed, "this is gonna be a tough one ..." He muttered looking outside.

Ialo did a quick scan of the lunch hall. No, Devin wasn't here. I guess he left already. He sighed, and got a sandwich for lunch. Not bad, but I prefer toasted. He sat at an empty table, and carefully blew fire onto his sandwich, until the bread was seared. And that, is the culinary perfection that is a turkey sandwich. Ialo ignored some of the strange looks students were giving him.

A loud scream flashed through the halls. An explosion soon followed.
"Go away!" Esmerelda yelled while telipathically shootng several knives at the black figure. The figure sunk into the floor and burst through the floor boards just in front of Esmerelda. It grabbed her leg. Esmerelda mde a grab for its head when her leg exploded, sending blood all over her walls. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHGG." The black figure pulled out a knife from the wall and lunged towards Esmerelda, with her last bit of strength, she stared in his eyes and got control of him. !!!!!!!!!!! I control you!!!!!!!!!!! Uh....... What is happening? !!!!!!! She fell out of his mind. The black figure's features were now very appearant. He had a long black cape, and black hair with a white mask. He grabbed her other leg and flung her through the wall into the hall. She hit one the statues, and knocked out. Her blood pooled at it's feet. The cloaked man pointed his hand at the girl. A bolt of lightning shot out of his finger tips. Esmerelda opened her eyes and parried the lightning bolt to her left. She began to drag herself down the hall. The cloaked man hovered over to her and grabbed her by her neck.
"Number one!" He yelled. Esmerelda screamed one last time, just before he crushed her skull into the face of the statue. The statue's face was full of sorrow. The cloaked man sunk into the floor, without a trace. A tear of light fell from the elder's eyes and formed into a ball of white light, just over the remains of Esmerelda's body.
"Kogi, we need to check out that scream!" Kert yelled while running out of the classroom.

((Well, we're just screwed over now, aren't we?))
Ialo looked up from his sandwich. He thought he had felt a pressure change, one that was usually associated with lightning, but looking around, many of the students didn't appear to notice anything amiss. He made a silent vow to be more attentive to the weather for the rest of the day. However, he ultimately dismissed that one fluctuation.

Kogi grabbed a european shortsword and followed over taking kert and passing him. He found the source of the scream, a young girl lay dead at the base of a statue, a ball of light hovering over her body. "...my god...who could...who would...why..." he muttered outloud, He walked over too the girls body and checked for a pulse. Nothing, The girls head had been cracked open, her eyes were wide open a expression of horror on them, Kogi placed his hands over her eyes and gently pulled them down closing them, he gently moved her facial features around so instead of pain and horror, her face was calm, almost as if she was sleeping. Kogi strenghted her body and placed her hands on her chest, all the while mummbling a long prayer in latin, he took a small silver cross from inside his suit jacket and placed it in her hands. Kogi kept up the latin prayer well he crossed himself, he looked at the statue, the statue's face was that of sorrow, but Kert said they were all happy faces... he thought.

Devin heard the fight and ran outside to see what had happened. His muscles grewlarger and hair sprouted from every pour of his body. His bone structure shifted. His werewolf form ran through the halls of the school, to the girl dorms. He stoped en he seen the ball of light and the dismembered body at the foot of the elder statue. He turned back to human.

Kert finally arrived to find both devin and Kogi there. Kert clapped his hands, sending Devin to the Lunch hall. "Esmerelda." Kert whsipered t himself. He walked closer to her body but stopped when he steped in her blood.
A loud boom broke the silence. Ms. Setsuka Appeared in a puff of smoke. "My god!!!What happened here!!!" Ms. Setsuka yelled. You f**king idiot! We were not supposed to kill her!" Ms. Setsuka thought. She looked at Kert and then at Kogi. She opened a glass valve, walked to the ball of light and tapped it. The ball of light flew into the valve. "I will investigate this." She walked tover to Esmerelda's body and frowned. So much potential. She placed her forfinger on Esmerelda's forhead. "We can revive her. It will take 5 months, but we can do it. The school is on high alert. Gentlemen, meet me in my office." Ms. Setsuka vanished.
"Kogi?" Kert said reluctantly. "What just happened?"

"...I have no idea...kert...didn't you say all the statues were smiling...then why is this one in sorrow?" he asked pointing at the statue. His short sword he had grabbed was still held tightly in his hand.

Kert looked at the statue. "They cried for us. There was nothing we could do." He quoted his grandfaher. Kert's eyes opened in horror. When great grandfather was attacked, the staues cryed. They cried, becuase 100 students and teachers died. If a person is killed,by these statues, the statue cries!" Kert concluded. He could not stand to look at his former student. "I am so sorry Esmerelda. We will bring you back."

"I'll take her too the school doctor...i'll meet you at Ms. Setsuka's office when I'm done" he said. " Can you take this back too my room for me before you head to the office though?" He asked handing Kert the shortsword he had brought with him. He picked up Esmerelda's body and began walking heading for the doctor, not caring his suit was getting stained. I promise you...I promise you little one....I'll find them....I'll find your killer and make them pay in full he vowed too himself. we assassins...were different then hitmen...hitmen work solely for money...we kill for peace...my anscestor killed those who would wish war, weapon merchants, slave traders, lords, knights...any who tried too cause war my anscestors would kill as soon as they could...I still follow their example...the person who killed you wants war, I can tell...I'm not going too let that happen.
