Sasha blushed at Remus's blinking. "I think Sirius and Mar will be good for each other. I never really hung out with you guys before, but from what I know about Sirius, Mar is the perfect girl for him."

Wendy yawned again, then smiled at Remus. They must be really good friends if he can just shamelessly say that mushy kind of stuff, Wendy thought with admiration. The friendship the Marauders had was the strongest she'd seen in a while, and she admired all four of them for it.

"You know Marketa, then?" asked Remus curiously, forgetting that she had interrupted a little rudely. "What's she like? I haven't spoken to her much." He then saw Wendy's yawn. "Sleepy?"

Yes, she thought. "No," she said, then she turned again to Sasha to listen to her answer. Marketa certainly was a mystery - this was, in fact, the only time Wendy had ever seen her besides the train ride. She thought she could remember hearing her name whispered a year or two back, but she wasn't really much for gossip, so she couldn't imagine why; Marketa seemed nice enough to her.

"Yaaay!" Wendy cheered, clapping. Madam Pince was upon her in seconds, hissing with a finger over her mouth like some kind of demented reptile. Wendy nodded to Madam Pince vigorously, trying to stem the flow of her giggles in her palm.

Sasha rolled her eyes at Madam Prince, making sure that she didnt see it.... "That woman definitely needs a hobby." Sasha said once Madam Prince left.

Remus grinned at the girls' antics, still feeling uneasy. There had been a lot of girls who had only liked Sirius because he was the heir to the Black Family fortune. But he's been disowned, and she still likes him, he reasoned internally. And what was this personal issue she had? "Hadn't there been some rumor going round about Marketa last year?" he asked quietly to no one in particular.

Wendy nodded. So there had been a rumor. She shrugged. "She seems nice to me," she said. "Whatever it is she's supposed to have done - if indeed she's done anything - can't have been that bad. At least, that's what I think."
