Crystal sat up and rubbed the back of her head with a hand as she watched the girl practice her new repairs.
"Good to hear! Just let me know next time you're gonna venture this far out of camp; I dont mind you doing that, especially if you need to reapair something, but just for the sake of me not having to chase you......which doesn't usually end up well for me, since you're fast and I'm not." she chuckled, before standing up and brushing off her clothes of any dirt. She was just happy that the girl was alright.
"Ah, nice view from up here, isn't it? The first time we came up here, the crew and myself, it was pretty late out as well. Of course, then we found a rattlesnake in someone's backpack, but we were able to handle it and clear the area, be pros and all.
Well........ok, so tehre WAS some running and screaming from Benny, but other than that." she joked. Where WAS the fool, and where was all the other staff?!

Matt sighed deeply, "I don't really know, Rin, and Sakura I guess... but since she's ignoring me I didn't get the chance to find out. Oh and I'm sorry for leaving you earlier. I guess I just couldn't handle talking about it... I'm sure you know what I mean." Matt was becomign fustraited with Rin, all he wanted was to be her friend, to be nice to her. AND ALL SHE DOES IS IGNOR HIM WHEN THERE IN PUBLIC! He punched the wooden pole that was beside him. In anger. He didn't whimper, as his hand made a sudden crack. He started at Lizzy. "so..."

"Ah, gomen, gomen."
Asakura picked up the screwdriver and spun it once around in her newly tuned fingers, the bright chisel-shaped blade catching the twilight. The sun had sunk pretty far below the mountainous horizon, and even the colours were beginning to fade into monochromatia, but the robot had little to worry about in the ways of getting back to the camp; she was installed with some sort of an internal GPS, and failing that, she had flashlights in her bag. She'd have to continue her training in the morning; having people nearby might endanger them, and she sure as hell did not want Crystal to be hurt.
"Yeahhh..."
Asakura sighed, staring out over the mirror-flat lake. A thought made her start.
"Wait, a rattlesnake? There are snakes here?"
No, that wasn't what she meant to ask. She quickly waved that away.
"No, no, I'll prob'ly find out for myself soon enough... but, uhm... who else knows, er, about the whole... robot thing...?"
Asakura fiddled nervously with the screw driver; whether or not they did would dictate entirely how she acted later.

She smiled, "Yeah, I know." she put her hands in her pockets. "Hey, I'll cheer you up!"

He frowned, he hated it when people assumed he needed 'cheering up'. When he wasn't sad, he was just being himself. It happned way to often, the saddness was part of the packedge wether the person liked it or not. It was hard to be happy when there was nothing to be happy about. And Matt, well there was no chance of him being bipolar. "I highly doubt it will work.." He sighed.. "But if you'd like to try go ahead..."

She wasn't exactly sure how she was going to do it. In fact, her mind went blank as soon as he said 'try it'. She grabbed his hand and dragged him towards his tent.

he sighed as he pulled his hand away and followed her. He wasn't in the mood for holding any more hands today, it only led to bad out comes...But he was kind of intreeged to see the girl actully willing to try anf fail...No one ever tried, right after he made the same remark...All they ever did was back down or give up on the spot..

She plopped him down on the bed and began to rummage through the bag. She pulled out a couple comic books, then found what she was looking for. She pulled out her sketchbook. "Here, read this while I find something." she continued to rummage.

Rin continued to walk along, slowly sooting her sudden rage with her music, almost as if a lullaby to her angry soul. Although, she wasn't sure of one pure reason why she was angry. Yes, there was the fact she was going to be wasting her entire summer here, Matt being an idiot, her brother seeming to want multiple things from her that were opposite of everything, and one of the members she thought was cool disappeared. Oh, and Sakura. Can't forget that one.
She began to hum along to her songs; sometimes it's the only time that she actually WANTS to hear her own voice.
Ken gave up and let her walk away; if he tried to follow she might just blow up on him; Matt had just barely dodged a bullet. After all, she couldn't be very happy right now.
Getting down from the tree, he watched as Lizzie seemed to lead Matt back into her cabin. Ok.......not suspicious looking at all. Whatever; at least he'd have the dorm to himself now..........
As he walked in, he found that he was mistaken; there was Andy, and the Lexxy one from earlier. Strange, why was she in the boy's-
...Oooooooooooooooooooooh. HE perfers being a lady. Interesting; he'd heard of these people before, but never actually saw one. Oh well; nothing to judge against. Women were lucky in some aspects, after all. Not having to pay for anything on a date, the breeze from a dress on a hot day where even shorts and a tank top made a man killer sweaty and uncomfortable...there were a few things, he had to admit. Would Ken ever be a woman himself, though? Nope.
He nodded greeting to them all, then took out his guitar and began tuning it again; stupid E string wouldn't stay in tune.
Crystal looked to Asakura as she asked her two different questions, the latter she figured the girl would ask.
"Well, for one, the staff knows, but that's for safety measures. As for people......hm, the only thing that shows it would maybe be the machinery on your ankles. You'd have to be observant, though.
My GUESS on this would be.............Rin (I could tell she noticed it), and maybe Ken or Matt. The others I'm not sure. It'll go around soon enough though; I doubt anyone would care either way, though; if anything they'd find it cool." she admitted to the girl; after all, SUPER HUMAN POWERS! Just take that only, and not her past, and you've got a cool sounding thing going on.
"As for snakes; we tried to clear them out earlier (hence why we were up here before you all arrived; patrolling for safety measures), so they may or may not be gone. It's a 50/50 chance." she said.

Matt sighed,"Hi Alexzander, hi Andy,Hi ken... Lizzy, I'll be right back...Talk with the guy's for a second.." Matt pulled Ken out of the cabin, "did I do somethign to your sister...Because she seemes to hate me...I herd her killing Sakura...But when ever I try to talk to your sister she just for some reason either ignors me...or screames at me for things I haven't done...Or she get's mad at me..." Matt actully looked sad...He had never cared if someone just blew him off he was so used to being alone...But for some reason, the way he connected to Rin earlier... Just made all the diffrence.
"Hi!" Andy waved like the idiot he was..and smiled stupidly.. He'd never been this close to a girl.. Other then Rin, who he had no intrest in since she was a bit young for him.

Ken took a moment and also noticed the two other faces in the room; Matt and Lizzie. Oh......he had looked at the wrong cabin; he thought she went to her cabin with him.
He suddenly felt himself sort of dragged out of the cabin, and Matt began asking about Ken's sister. Ken was surprised that the kid actually sounded worried, but at the same time too worried; didn't his girlfriend just die on him now long ago? Ah, maybe it was his big brother instincts. However, to keep his cool he looked at the boy with a straight face.
"Hm, well, Rin is a strange character, so it could be many things. But to go with the basics; what was the first thing you said to her when you went to chase after her?"

"I can't rember...It was somethign along the lines of...I keep getting the feeling that your upset...I don't know..This is hopeless...I might see you later ken.." With that Matt was headed towards the road once more, he passed by Rin quickly. And didn't look back. He remberd his girl friend saying that..
If it hurts to look back, let the door slam behind you.. What she really ment by that was, if it's to hard to look back then don't put yourself threw the pain...Besides Matt wasn't in the mood to see Rins icey glare.

Kalli continued to rummage, pulling out the DVDs and video games. She cheered when she found her old Nintendo 64. She grinned, setting it up. She hooked it up to the portable tv and switched it on. She waited for Matt to come back.

"M-my ankles?"
Asakura rolled up the bottoms of her baggy sweatpants, inspecting the loosely bandaged circut boards that peeked through the bound linen.
"Hmmm... admittedly, I could be more prudent... perhaps wear shoes next time..."
She made a face, unrolled the fabric and began to clean out the machinery carefully of the loam and leaves that had gotten caught in it during her running. She paused in her inspection of the circuts, a troubled look clouding her face.
"I-I don't know much about my fellow campers at the moment, but Rin-chan was one of the first to actually want something to do with me, whether she twigged the whole half-mecha thing or not, and to me that's really cool of her. I mean, heck, for all my sunny disposition I could have been a serial killer."
Asakura shrugged, returning to her work.
"Mind you, I could still be one... malfunctioning mechanics and all."
She grinned.
"But, I mean, honestly? Everyone looks like a normal person in comparison to me. I can run faster, jump higher, what have you, but I can not go swimming without serious precautions and you know what? Last time I tinkered with my iPod I swear it gave me a pickup line."
She held her arms out.
"Do you know how wierd it is to find that your electronics have a thing for you?"
Asakura let out a short bark of laughter and shook her head.
"I just don't wanna... scare anyone, yo..."

Ken had finally figured out right from that phrase one reason Rin might be mad at him, but the boy had run off before Ken could tell him. Oh well, he thought, and he went back inside.
"I dunno if Matt is coming back anytime soon; he just kinda ran off." he sighed, and flopped onto the bed. "The rest of you all alright?"
Rin watched the boy walk by out of the corner of her eye, and was sort of glad that he left her be; she was worried Ken was gonna get her to apologize to him, for some pointless and arrogant reason that she never did. She continued to listen to music; thank goodness she still has her ears!
Crystal sat down next to Asakura as she picked out hte leaves. "Well, I dunno if Rin knows your robot or not, but I'm only guessing she might. From what I've been getting that's not usually her character, reaching out to people; when she and her brother came up to talk to me, she hid behind him the whole time!
What I think it might be, and again this is a guess, is that she's not the only one that looks different on the outside that's here. You see, although you might be robot, that's actually sort of a cool thing, though I'm sure it has it's downsides. Same with Rin; there's a reason she wears an eyepatch around her eye. It's to cover up the fact that there IS no eye in that socket, making her blind on that side.
Now, one might think it cool looking (after all, we have anime and pirates that have the same thing who are favored), but it's really more of a hinderance, and people have made fun of her for it in reality. Staring, teaseing, etc. (but remember, I"m going by registration papers on this). This has gotten her down in the dumps, and very moody. Well, there are other reasons, but you'll find out soon enough what those are...
But she sees that you're so upbeat; not caring who you are or what you look like, you go out into the day with a grin. Even without the robot-ness, you're still the first one here to be so eager and excited, looking at hte bright side of the world. I think she really admires that." Crystal said with a smile, and a natural pause went through.
"Now mind you, no one is REALLY normal; it's just such a bland term. What counts, is what kind of heart is on the inside, not what you're made of on the outside." she nodded again.
"....wait, your Ipod gave you a pickup line after you worked with it?! Hahahahaha, that's AWESOME! Oooooh, note to self: kidnap Benny's Ipod and give it to you. Gawd, I'd PAY to see his face. HAHAAA!
Er, sorry; we've known each other for years, me and Benny. It's our duty to pick on each other." she nodded, sort of amused inside that her serious mood had so suddenly gone hyper and childlike.
