Without warning, L opened the door. "Thorn? Are you in here?"

Kitty rubbed her eyes annoyed wondering why she didn't put on any eyeliner. She sighed then rubbed the crustys from her eyes and was more awake. She hide behind the corner more and became interested when L opened Thorn's door.

The detective saw Thorn's gentle body lying in bed, snoring softly. He smiled to himself, pulled the covers over her a bit more, and walked out stealthily and quietly. L walked in the hallway to see Kit still there. As if surprised by her appearance, he welcomed with a, "Good morning."

"And where were you headed?" he asked, testing to see how fast she could come up with an excuse for being in the hallway at the exact same time he was. Lying - always an exceptional trait for a detective.

Thorn woke sharply when Remu pelted her with cushions.
"Wake up dammit! That L guy is right outside!"
Thorn got up from her bed and looked around. She then remembered that she was already dressed and had fallen asleep again.
"Sorry... God this is gonna be hard to explain."
Thorn and Remu walked out into the hallway only to see L and kitty talking.
(gotta go be back next friday! don't go on without me!)
