She shrugged and sat back down, eyeing the TV. "I think it may be time for a movie change."

Chane put down his plate and started moving pillows as to better prop himself up, "I agree. Pick whatever you want. My only request is that it's not a comedy. I don't think I could take too much more laughter tonight." The way he spoke it sounded like a regular thing.

She nodded, reaching for the booklet again. "What about something scary? Would that be bad?"

"That should be ok. But I'm not sure how many scary ones I have in there." He took a bite of his food.

Flipping through, she reached idly for her fork, sticking a mouthful of the take out into her mouth. Her eyes lit up and she looked up from the CD jacket to look at Chane. "That's awesome, what is it?"

Chane didn't lift himself up off the cushions, "I think that's the lentil one. I forgot to mention," he paused for a deep breath, "you're not supposed to eat this with a fork. You scoop it up using the bread, like this." He tore off a piece of the spongy bread and used it to pick up a piece of lamb before putting it in his mouth. He finished chewing before adding, "It's polite to use your right hand only to eat it. But, I haven't got much of a choice myself, so I don't really care how you eat it."

She tilted her head at him, then imitated what he did. "That's so.. messy," she said with a laugh. "But good. And I'm pretty sure I'm right handed anyway." Scooping up some more of the lentil, she resumed flipping through the movies, picking one at random. She wasn't sure what it was, but it didn't look like a comedy, so... In it went.

Chane couldn't help but smile, watching her. "So, today you found out that I'm half blind, a cyborg, that father is strange enough as to send me pickled brains, and that I mysteriously collapse after laughing bouts. If you still say your opinion of me hasn't changed since that day in the park, I'm going to have to call you a liar."

"You know, I'd have to say the strangest part is the pickled brain part," she said, eyes on the movie as it started to play. Seeing as it was only credits, she flicked her gaze over to Chane, tilting her head at him. "Okay, so maybe it has," she said, giving him a warm smile. "But for the better, not the worse, you weird mysterious cyborg."

"Hah! And next time we'll have movie night at your house so I can find out which relative leaves pickled organs in your fridge."

"Oh, damn. Well, I suppose it's only fair since I know all your secrets..." Grinning at him, she turned back to the movie, shoveling more food in her mouth.

"Oh really? All of them you say!? Lets make it fair then. What's the most shocking thing I could possibly learn about Miss Sasha?" Chane really wasn't all too interested in the movie.

"Hm." She had to think about that one. "Well, I can't say that I'm nearly as scandalous as you," she teased, "but I suppose I can come up with something." Finished her meal, she flopped back onto the pillows, chewing. "When I was a kid, back when I was stupid, I totally did that chase your tail thing. And I had like, no sense of direction, I used to get lost in my back yard. Hey--do they make chips for that?"

Chane nodded, "They're working on one. GPS implants, could you imagine? As you're walking down the sidewalk, a little voice in your head goes, 'Make a u-turn... now.' leaving you to wonder if it's your GPS chip telling you the way to the store or your conscious telling you to go back and pick up whatever it was that just fell out of your purse." Chane grinned, "Chasing your tail, that can not be the best you can think of. I mean don't most little kids do that?"

Turning her head to look at him, she gave him a small smile. "Only the dumb ones. Man, do they make chips for everything?" Shaking her head, she looked back up at the ceiling. "I'm still afraid of the dark. I sleep with a lamp on." She gave him a wry smile. "Told you none of my secrets were as juicy as yours. Face it, I'm boring."
