(Godmoding is where you make other characters that don't belong to you do whatever you want them to do. I'm about to do it a bit [Kono gave me permission while she's away for a bit], so watch and learn: wink )
Xena looked around at her family as they all stared at her. Gabrielle, Cyrene, Eve, even the damned dog seemed to be raising his eyebrow suspiciously at her.
"Xena, what are you talking about?" Gabrielle asked.
"Are you kidding me?!" Xena hissed. "You didn't see the big giant Valkyrie breaking through the front window? You didn't hear her ear piercing scream or see me fighting her?!"
Gabrielle shook her head and looked behind her to see the dining room fully in tact, along with the front window. She made eye contact with Eve, and when she turned back to Xena, she was frowning.
The Warrior Princess growled. "The dog! You heard the dog going berserk a minute ago! That was because Ares was here trying to talk me into helping him take over Valhalla."
Arnicus barked in agreement, but everyone thought he was just getting riled up from Xena being loud.
Cyrene grew concerned. "Honey, are you feeling all right? Maybe you should sit down for a minute." She placed her hand over the warrior's forehead to check for fever.
"I'm fine, Mother!" She snapped, slapping the woman's hand away. "Look, the gods are messing with me, and not the Furies this time! It's Ares and Athena! They both came here telling me I had to come help them take over Valhalla! They're the ones that have gone insane, so stop looking at me like I am!"

*purple lightnin shoots outta my hand into teh water. teh lightnin appears in teh tavern an turns inteh a faded lookin callisto holdin a knife teh gabbys neck but only xena cin see her*

*a laughin noise echos thru deh tavern but only xena cin hear it. i appear behind gabby invisible teh everyone but xena*
ahahahahaaa xena. yur strong but yur weaknesses arnt guarded very well twisted i realleh dont see why yuu still keep her around...
*runs my hand over gabrielles face an looks at teh illusion callisto*
shes might be a illusion but she cin do damage. teh real callisto wulda killed her by now tho... yuu cin thank me for gabrielle still being alive 3nodding

"I'm sorry, Ares, but you've forced my hand." Xena steped in front of Gabrielle and kissed her senseless. It wasn't that she wanted to embarrass herself and her family and friends. She just really needed a way to get Ares to back off for a bit, and this was the only thing she could think of that would shock him enough to buy her some time. Why was he going so crazy, anyway? He'd never been this persistent with this many things. Usually, it was only one thing per attempt, but this was way too much. She had to think of something extreme to do, and this was what she came up with.

*disappears in a huge firey explosion. all teh windows an doors fly open an teh callisto fades away. i reappear in teh temple ( gonk ) leavin molten lava wher im walkin*

For a brief second, Xena is satisfied at her victory over Ares, but then the reality of what she just did came to her, and she braced herself for the onslaught of verbal and physical abuse she was about to receive from Gabrielle, Cyrene and Eve...well, maybe not Eve, but one of them was bad enough. Her mother and her best friend: terrifying. "Um..I..."

Athena couldn't help but to burst out in mocking laughter as Ares continued to fume around the temple. Then she says to him in a sarcastic tone, "Pooor Ares. I don't really want to say 'I told you so'... But, little brother, it's true; I told you so. You're really whipped. By a lesbian mortal, no less, who wants nothing to do with you."
Needing no explanation (not even for Ares) on this matter, Athena simply smirked at him from afar. Not wanting to get caught in the middle of his rage. But then collected into her usual stoic and serious self.
"Get over yourself, Ares. And stop thinking with your cod for once. Are we going to Valhalla.. Or not?"
Athena folds her arms and waits for Ares to realize the real matter at hand. Not just the drama around his pathetic little school boy crush.
