Shimofuri held her hands up to block her face from the sand that was shooken off of Nefir. "How were you going to be the cave anyways, I wouldn't have been able to get inside?" she asked before looking on the ground. "A magic bug, you got it!"

Nefir actually laughed and nearly got sand further inside his nose. "Well I DO have a pretty big mouth." He began to root around in the sand. "Okay, the bug we're looking for is called a scarab; it's a desert bug with four legs and wings folded on its back like a ladybug. We need to find a gold one, and when we find it, it'll fly away from us, and we follow it to the cave. Got it?"

"A golden scarab that flies away? Got it!" Shimofuri said as she continued to look around on the ground for even the slightest trace of life. All it seemed to be was sand, endless plains of sand. Just as she was begging to feel a little discouraged, she saw something shiny fly through her field of vision. "Hey Nefir, is that it?" she called out, pointing at the bug that was beginning to fly away.

Nefir looked up and as he focused on the small speck of flying gold, his eyes went wide. "Yeah, that's it! Hurry; we've got to follow it fast or we'll lose it! C'mon!!" He bounded away after it, trying to keep it in his sight. "Boy, it'd be so much easier to follow if it were night; it's glow would really help."

Shimofuri smiled as she started to chase after it, having to really strain her eyes to be able to differentiate it from the sand itself. "Yeah, it would be easier," she huffed out as she continued to run, determined to not loose track of it.

Nefir turned and looked at Shimofuri in surprise. "I've really got to stop thinking out loud." He suddenly looked back in front of him and screeched to a halt. In front of them loomed a large cave, with a yawning mouth of an opening. The scarab fluttered over to the top of the mouth and seemed to split in half and settle on either side, like a pair of tiny eyes.
Nefir looked over at Shimofuri with wide eyes. "Well, shall we venture in?"

Shimofuri nodded as she looked at the entry way. "Y-yeah," she stuttered, her voice cracking. As she started to silently walk in she gulped as she looked up and couldn't help but feel as though she were waling into a demons mouth. She didn't like the aura she was getting from this place, but hoped it wasn't as bad as it felt.

Nefir bounded into the mouth of the cave with no fear, but as he began to descend down a long set of well-worn steps, he slowed his pace until it seemed as though he was trying to sneak his way down. He turned sideways and looked at Shimofuri with one eye. "It's a magical cave, but don't worry; it won't hurt us unless we break its rule. I think the rule is that you can only take one thing. Take any more, and......." He shifted his eyes to and fro nervously.

Shimofuri pouted some as she continued to follow Nefir down the stairs. "That's simple enough..." she mumbled as she looked around, still unconformable about being there. She then whacked herself in the face, and huffed as she yelled down, "I'm not scared of you demon cave!" before listening to the echo as she smiled proudly.

Nefir jumped about a foot in the air and almost fell down the stairs at Shimofuri's shout. He landed with his tail all poofy and his nerves shot. 'Whoa........g-guess you told it." He giggled nervously and began to walk more swiftly down the stairs. He could see an opening at the bottom of the stairs, and a golden light coming from the next cavern that turned the last few steps to gold.
He jumped the last few eagerly and when he entered the second cavern he stood there, mouth hanging open. Piles of golden coins reached nearly to the top of the cavern and shone in sone eerie magical light. Jewels as big as a Namir's head were scattered all over like forgotten toys. Statues cut from gold and gemstones glittered from every possible nook. And scattered here and there were various objects that seemed to be made from a strange reddish-gold material. Nefir's eyes seemed to glaze as he took it all in, his paws already itching to grab something.

Shimofuri proudly followed behind Nefir, walking quickly with a sort of skip added in. When she arrived at the opening of the next room, she smiled brilliantly as she looked at all of the coins. "Shiny!" she shrieked as she dived into them, and started to play in the sea of coins.

Nefir laughed as he felt Shimofuri rush past him and play in the coins. He was glad of the distraction; shiny expensive things had always been a weakness of his, and had he been allowed to continue into his gold-induced stupor, he might have walked out with a big pawful and brought the entire cave down on their heads. But so long as they didn't leave, they should have been free to touch and play with any of the treasures they chose. Beaming, he picked up a gigantic emerald and made faces in it in Shimofuri's direction.

Shimofuri laughed as she grabbed an elaboratley jeweld gold mask. She held it up to her face and turned towards Nefir, trying to sound creepy. "These are my golds, so stop touching them," she said as she wiggled her her fingers in an attempted ghost-like mannor. She was definatley happy that they had come down here.

Nefir laughed back, tossed the gemstone aside, and picked up a crown so studded with jewels that it almost looked like it was made entirely out of jewels fused together. He plopped it on his head, where it tilted at a goofy angle. "Well I'm a king and I've got some of my treasure in here, and I need it back....to......build a new palace. The old one's too....not-gold."

Shimofuri smirked behind the mask as she laughed. "You are king then, are you? Not some fool who just happened apon here? I might allow you some of my treasure, but it'll cost you," she said, trying to add an accent to her words as they came from her. She put her hand on her hip as she leaned in closer on Nefir, smirking even more as she softley said to him, "Would you like to hear the price?"
