"I see," said Merlyn. She nodded. "I guess we both have our reasons." She looked at Mathius. "You know what I hate?! Having to dress as a man just to fight for my country. It's outragous!"

"good, look over that list tonight and talk to me in the morning," Isha could feel the effects of the pills wearing off," do you know if there is a hotel nearby where i could stay," he asked. This was going to be a big crash and he prefered to have them in private, instead of police stations.

"Just a half a block from here." She sighed as she noticed Isha's fatigue once more. "You really need to be put on a better health regiment. Go to the hotel not far from here and say that Nurse Thomas sent you. They'll take really good care of you for the night, I always send my recovering patients there and they work out wonderful!" Angel headed out of the room after bowing reself out respectfully and headed towards the entrance. "Crap!" She stated as she looked around. "I just realized I am one hundred percent fool proof lost!" She knew her voice was somewhat loud against the quiet of the area she was in.

As soon as Angel left the room Isha collapsed against the wall breathing heavily. first stage, twenty minutes to go, straightening up he left the room and walked normally out into the street. Looking around he realized that Angel hadn't told him which direction to go, looking both ways he stumbled left and hoped he was right.

Angel stopped and looked around once more. "Wait", she smacked her forehead as she soon found the place she had been once before. "I never told him where to go!" Angel ran in only to find it empty. "Crap!" She ran out and soon enough found where she had first entered the base. "I have to find him before anything bad happens!" She looked to her left and her right then headed to the right, away from the hotel just incase.

Mathius walked back into his tent..."Good night captain"He shut the flaps and read his six page prayer to himself as he was doing sit-ups..."Dear father, who art in heaven..."

Isha stumbled into an alley way and sat down on a crate but didn't feel a thing, stage two, ten minutes, he rested his head against the wall and tried to remember what directions he'd taken, left...then a right and then straight, he thought. "I think I might have made a wrong turn, hehe." he said as he started to lose the feeling in his arms.

Merlyn got up and nodded. "Yes, you too, Mathius," she said. She left the campfire, went back into the woods, and traveled to her tent as a shadow. She went in the back flap, closed it, and dressed in the dark. She got out, and once again, she looked like Captian Merlyn Harps. She went to the fire.

Merlyn's men didn't ask her what she was doing, they thought it was how she gathered her courage day after day. She stood up after a few mugs of whiskey and said, "I'm going to hit the hay, men. I'll make sure you guys have a good commander," she said, having told her about her change. She went into her tent, tied it up, and lied down on her cot. She snuggled undernieth the Indian blankets that she stole from home.

Mathius began to sing as he dreamt...it was a very old tune about the soldiers coming home from the Civil War in 1861...

Merlyn sighed; she couldn't sleep. She turned over on her side and starred at a pitcure of her family. "Tenting tonight, tenting tonight," she quietly sang to it. The song was her father's and brother's favorite.
