(( But Rose just said that Edward was the vampire, now he knows his name and he could ask anyone who he is and get the truth. Everyone in Cheydinhal knows their Lord Edward!
lol, it's alright, I already have a witty and clever plan to get around Edward having to fight. xD At least I hope it's witty and clever enough to do that. sweatdrop ))

Douglas stalled idly by the reception room. Today a few people were supposed to be coming over to ask if they could feed in his city. It got annoying, how they had to ask. It also meant that his mansion had to be on the edge of the city, otherwise no one could visit. The rules of the vampires made little sense, but even if he didn't understand, he still had to follow.
When there was the farmiliar knock on the door from the inside that signalled that the guests were ready, Douglas strode into the room. "So I hear you'd like to feed while in my city? Before I allow you permission, I'd like to tell you about the rules here. You do not feed to kill. You feed to live. No more than what is needed, or we will kill you. It's simply enough, no?" The vampires in the room looked shocked when a kid came into the room, but when he started ordering them around, they became indignant.
"Where do you get off ordering us around, you kid?" In an instant Douglas' entire demeanor was changed. He stood straighter, and there was a flame in his eye that commanded authority. "If you don't like me being the master of this city, you can leave. You were never invited, you simply came." With that, he strode towards the door, telling the vampires, "Tell my servant your answer." As he passed the servant, he murmured to her, "If they give you any lip, tell me."
Douglas felt slightly on edge and grumpy, wanting to feed, but he didn't have any human servants, nor a Pomme de Sang. He whispered fiercely to himself, "I need some humans around this place, or I may go insane having to wait every day until sundown to feed."

Marie looked at her, thankful, she didn't know this girl, not well at least. "Y-yes..." She raked her brain for the girl's name. She'd seen this girl before. The name came to her. "Rose, thanks." She whispered. She looked at Lila, 'Bite him' her look said.

Lila chuckled mentally to Edward while poking her head out of her hiding place. 'Marie wants me to bite him.' She chuckled evilly. Edward had stopped running by this time, needing to think of a plan before going any further. He needed to be calm and composed, and...he needed a disguise!
'Do what you think must be done, just don't get yourself killed; I don't need the headache.' Edward responded, turning back around to find a suitable disguise. 'Marie, if I come in, I'm not going to be me. Call me by a different name.' He told Marie, if his plan was going to work Maire needed to know not to point him as as who he really was. And hopefully his disguise would just be...The bookstore clerk! Edward's mind was racing now, plans just kept coming to him!

Marie smiled, and laughed inwardly. 'Yes Peter.' She looked at the hunter, keeping her eyes off Lila. 'Hurry up, I'm running out of ideas.' She wanted to distract the guy, but she couldn't do this without completely embarrassing herself, which was pretty easy.

"Lord Edward. I've heard that name once before, now I have to stay. When will this Lord of yours be coming? Another question, why is a snake here listening to our conversation? All of this is so troublesome." Leon said leaning against the wall waiting. "Please, tell me when this Edward will be back, I need to know. Don't try lying to me either. I have ways of making you talk." He said trying to sound as sinister as possible.

Lila slithered back into her hole at the mention of 'snake'. <******** Hunter, he's threatening them.' Lila thought, keeping Edward updated on the situation. Edward stopped. He could do nothing if he wasn't even near the castle, so his plans were blown, snot down by another elephant gun. Edward groaned and ran a hand through his hair, then sighed, making up his mind. 'I have stupid plan's Lila, I need to have the upper hand of the situation and I don't, I'm coming back and I'm going to deal with this!' Edward informed both his servants. 'Though, forget the name thing, he'd probably figure it out anyway.' With that, Edward used his vampiric speed to race back to the castle in record time. But he didn't go in quite yet, better to get a view of what was going on first.

"He'll be here soon..." Marie muttered. "And Lila is here because she's staying with ME, she's very well trained." She spat, and crouched down and held her hand out so Lila could climb up her arm. Why was she so angry, oh yeah, there was some a*****e in the manor. "Now you've seen the cow, so please leave."

"Yell and scream all you want, it doesn't make a difference to me. I'm doing my job okay, I'm sorry, but I can't leave." Leon said putting his hands over his ears. "Do what you want I don't care, I'm not trying to be rude here, but you're making it difficult to be polite. I hope you don't take that the wrong way." he said closing his eyes and putting his hand on the handle of his sword.

"Oh yes, threatening us is SOooo polite." Marie stood up, and put her hand on her hip. About to insult his sword she decided not to. He had a weapon, she didn't.

Dammit, this whole thing might have been worse then he had first thought. But Edward still didn't know what would happen if he became involved. Though in actuality, he was already involved. 'I need to get him off guard...' Edward thought, not to anyone really, but they could still hear it. Marie and Lila I mean.
Lila had done what Maire wanted and wrapped around her arm gently so as to not crush her. She really didn't need to worry all to much with Edward, he'd heal with his next feeding.

Nicky walked quietly down a path her long, black hair up and her ice blue eyes down. She clinged to a bag of books she had just gotten. She saw very little people on her way home. She took a big breath trying to speak alest one word, but to only fail. She started to wonder if she had completely lost the abilty to talk.
