"Ah, thank you" Vic said smiling as he nodded and took the map and schedule and placed it into his bag. Vic then turned as people had walked in. Hearing the boy say his name was Alex, he remembered that's who he would be rooming with. Smiling, he nodded at him. "Hey. I'm Victor, but just call me Vic." He told him casually. He didn't mind when people called him Victor, he just liked hearing Vic a little better. He then looked at the girl that had spoken to him and nodded. "Alright. Thank you" He said to her as he adjusted his bags. He wanted to hurry and get to the cabin because they were getting quite heavy.

"You're welcome," Isabella said with a sweet smile. She looked to Alex, Victor's roommate. "Alex should lead the way. He knows better than any of us where your cabin is. Then we can look for ours," she finished, looking at Ayumi with another smile. Isabella could barely believe that she hadn't been to the place where she would spend a lot of her time at the camp yet. She had just been so overwhelmed with meeting everyone and socializing.

Henry thought for a moment before answering. "Well, we don't know what they look like, but they would have to be intelligent to find us, especially if they want to harvest our brains for reasearch. So let's just say they have superior mental capacity. Are they people?"

"Sounds good," Ayumi said, looking at Vic curiously before walking out of the main hall with him, Alex, and Isabella. She decided to introduce herself. "I'm Ayumi. Nice to meet you Vic," she said with a smile.

"What were you doing?" Christina asked, guessing "Climbing trees? Crashing quads?" She shook her head. She pushed Odori's hair back to examine the injury better. Wordlessly she sprayed more disinfectant, producing a numbing effect, and strung some special thread through a needle, moving in to give Odori a few stitches.

Rain looked up to the sky for a moment trying to think, "Well I don't think so." As the river came into view she continued, "No. I think it is the capacity to love and humanity that makes us people. Not the ability to learn or to walk or make brain soup for research. There are humans I know that I wouldn't call people." Seeing the river she was tempted to run and jump in but didn't want to ditch Henry. Giving him a questioning glance she looked ahead.

At Ayumi's introduction, Isabella realized that she hadn't introduced herself either. "Oh, I'm Isabella," she said after Ayumi finished. "Sometimes I go by Belle, though." She looked down at his bags again, wondering if she should offer to carry them, but knowing that she didn't want to. If he was a gentleman, he wouldn't accept her offer anyways. Perhaps Alex would help him?

Cameron shifted uncomfortably. The blood was making him feel sick, and it seemed that the nurse read his mind. "Uh... something like that," he mumbled uncertainly.

((Wah!!! So sorry!!!!))

She lay silently on the bed, drifting in and out of awareness. Listening to the somewhat cramped conversation between the nurse and Cameron, she couldn't help but inwardly smirk. Oh, they were so going to be busted! However, that smirk immeadiatly faded at the sight of the neddle the nurse held. "N-no needles!" she said softly, scrambling away from the woman and falling backwards off the bed. "I hate n-needles!!!"

Wordlessly Alex took one of the large bags and swung it over his shoulder, not even bothering to ask of Vic needed or wanted help. "You already know my name." He followed the others out of the hall and into the bright sunshine again. "The cabin is that way." He pointed through the trees.

"Interesting theory," Henry said. He caught Rain's look and could tell she was eager to get in the river. He laughed. "Don't let me stop you." Henry spotted a tree close to the water and sat down beneath it, his back against the trunk and his knees up. He took out his notebook and looked around at the scenery. The river was fast, but not out of control - he hoped Rain was a good swimmer, but didn't want to be a nag.

Ayumi followed her new-found friends (as she would like to call them, though there was no significant proof) over to Alex and Vic's cabin. The outside didn't look bad at all - the wood was new and there were large windows with shutters. No doubt her own cabin would be similar.

"Oh for the love of - " Christina began, then stopped herself. "Odori, do your cut to heal improperly and risk it opening up again or do you want to brave the needle?" she asked impatiently. Not that Odori had a choice. Christina could probably get Cameron to hold her down. Or she could knock her out with something. She glanced at the medicine cabinets where she had a few chemicals stored.

Vic smiled and nodded at the two girls who had introduced themselves. He didn't need to say his name, they had already learnt it before. "Nice to meet you" He spoke softly. Noticing his right arm get lighter, he looked to the side and saw Alex grab one of his bags. "Ah! It's okay, I can carry them." He told him as he followed all of them out of the building and towards the cabins. He didn't want to feel useless because of Alex carrying his bag. Hopefully they wouldn't think the same.

Isabella smiled at Vic's reaction to one of his bags being taken. Knowing Alex, he wouldn't allow Vic to have it back. "You might as well not even try," she said before Alex answered him. "Besides, you have your other bags that you have to carry, too." Isabella couldn't help but point this out. Vic shouldn't feel useless or unhelpful. Alex might be a little stronger, and Vic did have his other bags still. She hummed quietly as they walked up to the nice cabin, stopping beside Ayumi.

Cameron winced again at the needle. They certainly weren't his favorite things either, but if she was hurt as badly as it seemed, it was surprising that she could still resist. The fall to the ground must've hurt as well. He couldn't imagine doing so if it were him lying on the bed. He thought about how it almost was him lying on the bed, his head bleeding. Had he failed Odori in not protecting her? It wasn't like he was obligated to protect her from harm and injury, but he still felt badly.

Rain grinned, "Thanks!" she called over her shoulder as she took off at a run dropping her sketch book sending some of her pieces scattering across the ground. Tucking her legs up she did a cannon ball into the river. It was a little colder than she expected but when she got to the surface she grinned having to put a little effort into staying in place. Swimming around for a moment she climbed up to the bank and started to unlace her boots looking to Henry over her shoulder, "Next time remind me to plan ahead." she laughed. Her black shirt was sticking to her higher than it was meant to set making some scars visible along her back and sides that looked as if they went father up her back. Dumping water out of her boots she threw them a little ways back, "Are you much of a swimmer?" she asked as she stood up tying the front of her shirt in a knot to keep it still before she dove back in.

Again, she glanced warily at the needle, her face paling even more if that was possible. Shuddering, she slowly pulled herself back up onto the bed and sat facing Christina, her eyes closed tightly and her hands fisted in the sheets of the bed. "Hurry up, damnit!" she growled softly, refusing to open her eyes until the lady was done.

"Don't worry about it," he said, grinning. "It's no big deal. Besides, what's a friend for?" He continued leading the way until they stepped inside, then set the bag he carried on the other bed.

Vic looked at Isabella as she spoke. Noticing her amused smiling expression, he shook his head. "But-" He started, but he then turned his head in Alex's direction as he had started to talk. He then smiled at him and nodded. "Alright." He agreed. It didn't matter all that much even if he did disagree, though, since they were already here. Walking inside, his draw dropped a bit. "This. . . is a cabin. . .?"He asked, a little surprised. He had always been used to the old smelly dirty cabins with the 5 sets of hard bunk beds stuffed inside with one small window that didn't close properly with spiders that came in every night. He was impressed. Smiling, he followed Alex over to the bed he had placed his bag on. Doing the same, he put down the rest of his bags and rubbed his shoulder. He decided that he would unpack everything later- he didn't want to keep them waiting.

"Are you going to unpack, or are we heading off now?" Isabella asked both Vic and Alex. They probably didn't want to unpack in front of the two of them, and she expected that they would want to move on. She looked around the cabin, and at the doorway that led to the bathroom. Well, this camp was nicer than she expected. Definitely not like a horror movie... Isabella though wistfully, missing her mom and dad already.

Cameron winced again. Needles scared him as well. A lot of stuff did, though he wouldn't enjoy admitting it in any way, shape or form. He could barely watch as the nurse working on her. Blood was one of the many things that scared him. Not to mention he had to watch Odori in pain, and clearly out of her comfort zone. Watching her grasp the sheets, he felt a pang of sympathy.

"Not really," Henry admitted. "When it was younger I'd take lessons every summer, but I never got good at swimming. You're a regular dolphin though." He laughed a little. He watched Rain swim absently, not wanting to bring up the scars. If she felt like he should know, she would tell him. He didn't think she knew he had seen them.

The nurse nodded. "Good," she said. "Though now I'll have to start over." Odori's antics had caused the wound to start bleeding again. She did the same routine - remove blood, disinfect and numb, needle and thread. The stitched were over in a few seconds - Christina was really more than a doctor than a nurse, despite her position at the camp. She covered the sewn-up cut with a bandage, careful not to get too much of Odori's hair caught in it. "Done," she said, "But I'm going to have to keep an eye on you. You're staying here tonight."

Ayumi didn't feel like she had much to say, so didn't. Like her roommate Isabella she turned to the boys with a questioning glance. She knew she wouldn't be unpacking yet if her mother hadn't done it for her - she wouldn't want everyone waiting on her, and it would be awkward.

Sticking her tongue out at him she looked a little sheepish, "There was a lake near by my house, I used to run off when I didn't feel like being at home and swimming gave me something to do." Eventually she would go back to shore and pick up her drawings but right now she was enjoying herself. Doing a quick flip in the water the pushed her hair back from her face fighting the current, "You should swim more. All it takes is practice! Anyway it's not like I would let you drown. I am trying to avoid prison." Grinning at the last part she swam some circles.
