Aaliyah flew through the window and landed on my shoulder. I jumped and dropped the book, dust puffing into the air.
"Dont DO that!" I yelled at her. She tittered.
"Then be ready and you wont be scared when I do!" She countered calmly. "So what are you two up to?"
I sneered at her, my anger rising.
"Its none of your buisness what we're doing. Why dont you-" but Nashi snorted at me. I realized I was being a bit harsh.
"I'm teaching Nashi about man made flight. Ceres told me to. And she also told me to take Nashi back to the Faeries to teach her how to use her wings." Nashi nodded in agreement.
"I see," said Aaliyah, clearly not shaken by my rudeness. "Well, thats good to know. I have to go now." She flew through the portal from which she had come and into the sky.
"I never know what she's thinking," I said to Nashi. "She's so mysterious..."
I picked up the dusty book and continued.

Fauste approached the home slowly, Sunflash followed after still gaga over his new wings. Fauste wore an amused smile, though she tried to make the smile less amused in case it would be taken as an insult. When she got to the door, she knocked on it three times, quite firmly and then waited for a response.

Nashi was gazing out of the window bordely.
"Nashi, do you want to fly or not?" I asked. She snapped her head my diretion and nodded. I sighed. "Then you have to pay attention!" She looked extrememly guilty.
"Its ok. Just try to listen. If Ceres thinks this is important, then it is." She nodded and I continued.

A knock was suddenly heard at the door. "Who could that be?" She said, frustrated. They would never get this done!
She tore the door open visciously, and upon seeing their guests, felt embarrased. "Im sorry about... the door thing..." She eyed them. "Im mia. And who might you two be?" She saw another changeling with golden wings. He was quite handsome.

Fauste just laughed good naturedly, "Nono. I am sorry if I am interrupting. I am Fauste." She pointed at herself before gesturing to Sunflash, "And that is my changeling Sunflash. I was just hoping that we could have a bit of time together."

Mia laughed nervously. "Umm... of course youre not inturrupting anything! Nashi can play for a bit!" Nashi exploded into a smile and galloped past her and the guests, out of the door. Mia smiled akwardly. "Sorry. She.... gets a bit excited..." She lauged once more. "Would you like to go play with her, Sunflash?"

Sunflash looked a bit startled as the rather colorful female changeling galloped past. He seemed a bit flustered at first stretching out his wings before refolding them. He glanced at Mia and then nodded his head to gallop after Nashi somewhat hesitantly. How does one deal with a female?
Fauste chuckled a bit, "Glad to finally meet you. And it's fine about Nashi. Sunflash gets excitable too. I think it is part of being young for the most part." The half-elf smiled a bit. She watched Sunflash gallop after Nashi, "He's never really delt with a female around his age. I mean maybe once, but he may be a little shy."

Mia smiled. "She's only dealt with adults." She wondered how Nashi would cope with another ball of energy. Would she accept him?
"Well, I think we'd better monitor them." She walked outside and the direction Nashi and Sunflash had gone.
Nashi stopped and hid behind a bush, awaiting Sunflash's arrival. She giggled to herself. He would be so surprised!

Fauste followed after Mia, her hand folded behind her back as if she were just taking a leisurely stroll, "Same with Flash for the most part." She laughed a bit, "Trying to make an effort to change that before he grows up completely."
Sunflash slowed to a trot when he noted he couldn't see Nashi anymore. He crept near and then past the bush obviously not suspecting it. Nor did he bother looking AROUND the bush. "She disappeared.." He muttered softly.

"BOO!" Nashi screamed as she repeated a trick from her last play date. She landed right on top of Sunflash, and giggled uncontrolablly.

He let out a shocked squeal and almost pranced away if it hadn't been for Nashi landing on him. He folded his wings a bit closer to his body so the impact wouldn't hurt them, "Yikes!" Sunflash gave a hearty laugh after a moment of getting over what had occurred, "That was a great trick!"

Nashi smiled. "You're wings are pretty," she said after standing up and shaking herself off. She liked this changeling.

He gave a shy laugh and straightened himself out before responding, "Thanks, yours are very nice too." Sunflash could only hope he had said the right thing, "You hope to fly too?"

She blushed. "Thanks..." she said, looking down. "And yes, I hope to fly.... Although I've done it before with Faerie wings. Its so wonderful!" She sighed deeply before looking back at him. "Have you ever flown?" Her eyes shimmered.

He nodded a little, "Once on my own. I was also given a grown-up form at the time by magic. It was really strange. I was taught by another pegasus and a dragon. I had a friend there too, but I hadn't seen him since we came back from that.." He gave a small sigh as if saddened.
