Maddie then locked the door to he rhouse and wne tup stairs. When out of no where the phone rang. "Is Madeline there?" "Speaking" "Your school is now clothsed you shal be handed to a school in town rather then out side of town.". Maddie thne hung up wiate didn't Von say somethign about an abandon school just out of town. I miust cpntackt them at once. So Maddie grabbed her book bag an dran to the hotel. When she arrived she ran to the elivator and decided to take the stiars. She knocke don the door a watied for Von to open. "Von it's me i might know where that school is." Maddie anouced threw the door a littel bit out of breath.

She walked into her apartment, being met at the door by a rather annoyed black fuzzball that meowed at her. "Sorry Withc, I found out some important info I had to tell DARK." she said, walking to the kitchen. Grabbing a can of food, she opened it, setting it on the counter so that Witch could reach it. I wonder what they'll do to them when they find them, she thought as an image of the hunter and vampire popped into her head.

"VON!!! OPEN UP!!"Maddie was getting quite annoyed. Why wont hje answer geez whats up his butt?Maddie then stared to bang louder. "NANIME IT"S ME TELL VON TO OPEN THE DOOR"Now she was reaily annoyed she wa slosing alot of enrgy. Soon she clapesed on th efloor infront of the door.

He got up to answer the door...it sounded like that annoying girl again.
he opened the door to find her collapsed on the floor. he was about to panick and help her but she didnt look injured and figured it was nothing serious.
"ohhh...if the enxt words that come out of you mouth isnt i know where the daemon is im going to jump through a window" he said mimicking her voice.

Gerat walked past the door ounce again. The door bolted shut made with gold and covered in latin markings. The Vatican had always gone to alot of trouble in sealing in the contents of that room. To think the door is only ever opened so that he may walk inside and talk....to him. the many gaurds of the Vatican were swarming around as usual. armed with halberds ordained by various high priests. The Vatican was always a busy place....especially in this wing of the Vatican.
To think he would walk back through that door tomorrow and speak ounce again with the thing that could have brought the world to its knees.

The quess she had asked Von would have to wait as a knock interrupted their conversation. From the looks of it, their guest was Maddie. She was going to get up to answer the door but Von beat her to it. She sat back down and laid her head down on the table, allowing her long red hair to billow around her. She wondered what Maddie wanted now. Did she perhaps find something out?

"I swear that girl will be the death of me....and theres always something bigger going on....one daemon makes no difference in the world.....sure itll save a few dozen people....but another daemon will come about somewhere else....then well have to kill that one...and if the daemon doesnt come...some rebel somewhere will blow up a hospital or church....the fact is theres always something else going on...our job is to pay attention to a small part....and fix it."

Namine watched as he set the girl down on the bed. She listened to his statements and felt the enormity of it all. "But even though it is one demon or being that we can get rid of, I believe it makes some difference. I have to believe that or I couldn't continue what im doing now." Namine gripped the material covering her legs till the knuckles turned white. "We will prevail, even it it takes us forever." She looked at Von "We have to prevail for without us no one could lead a life with some semblance of normalcy."

Maddie was shocked by Von she had been picked up in a simaler posishon by a hunter and to this veryday being picked up terrivfied her. She quickly got off the bed and hid behind Nanimes chhair and hissed at Von/ Almost, like a cat but wiht more tention. "Don't touch me"She mutterd while standing up. "I know you probably don't care and death isent as bad as it seems. Seen it a millon times it's peacefuly. Again sorry for disturbing the btoh of you. But i have some good news, i know where the demon will be in two days. My school had bene closed down and it aprently has been for awhile. My school is just outside of town.So it menas he shall be there and i know how to get there."Maddie sighed and walked to the door.

Purring contently like a cat, she disentangled herself from her bed sheets. That was a good dream, she thought as she grabbed a towel and walked into the small bathroom of her apartment to take a shower. Stepping under the hot water, she let her muscles relax.
A rather rude and impatient knock sounded at her door, followed by an angry voice she knew well. "Nova, would you get your lazy *ss out of the shower and answer the door already?" called an annoyed sounding Mathew, a messenger for the DARK. Grabbing her towel and wrapping it around herself, she shut off the water and stepped out, walking to the door to answer it.
"What do you want Mathew?" she asked, annoyance plain in her voice and on her face. "Another assignment that needs your expertice." he said, waving an envelope in her face. She snatched it from his hand as he blinked, having it open before he finished. "I hate it when you do that you know." he said as he read the message next to her. "Spying on a group of hunters aye, not to bad this time. Have fun." he said, turning to walk down the corridor. She kicked the door closed with her foot, crumpling up the assignment paper and throwing it into the trashcan. OK, now I just have to find them again, she thought as she stepped back into the shower.

he looked at Maddie with a smile. "thank god....i knew you'd come in handy somehow" he said with a laugh. he turned to Namine who had obviously been upset about what he had said. "Namine....its not that we wont win....its that we wont live long enough to see the end of this war." he said jumping on the bed. it was now 3 am and he was finally starting to get a little tired. "we can go there in the morning. try not to go to far...at least stay withing earshot...Especially you Namine...people around here dont like vampires and a vampire sister will definably get them pissed off."

Maddie glared at Von." You don't know a think about my abiltys so i wouldent judge me, Well at least not yet. Also, if you want Nanime can come with me i normaly find things to do late at ngiht that wont invoulve leaving town."Maddie said smerking at Von. Nova stepped out and dried off, allowing the towel to fall to the floor as she walked through her apartment, looking for something to put on. She finally found a large shirt, slipping it on over head as she searched for underwear. Finding some, she slid them on and walked to her fridge, Grabbing a glass filled with red liquid, blood, she took a long drink. Setting the cup back down she layed down on her bed and closed her eyes. I'll start my assignment tomorrow night, she thought before drifting off into sleep.

He walked ounce more down that corridor. This time looking at the paintings on the walls. Each one showed a long gone Pope. In some it had the pope smiting some great daemon, in another helping the sick. It was the very last painting that he always had to stop and see. It wasn't painted but smelted with different colored metals. It was shiny and unlike the others wasn't warn or withered with age. It was perfect, The picture of four horsemen and there riders bursting from a gate of fire in the sky. The first wearing a crown...and holding a bow riding a white horse. the second wielding a massive sword atop a fiery red horse. The third riding a green horse and holding scales. And the last rider....death doing nothing but outstretching his hand while riding his black horse. He had always thought it a beautiful picture....yet was always frightened by what it all meant.
He opened the door and stared at the massive dome ceiling. To think he was in the REAL center of the Vatican. To think that this is what it would contain.
"well its 6 am....time for another talk" Gerat said taking a seat in his usual chair.
"EGO have non seen a occasus in plures annus" the familiar voice said to him.
"a vicis pro totus res mos adveho" Gerat said in a whisper.
