Artemis laughed, "its all right, I don't expect anything in return," it felt good to laugh after spending so many days silent in the stone forest. Her eyes riveted to the pixies that were racing, it seemed like fun to fly. But she had her own ways of soaring.

Megumi ran up to Luna, almost crashing into her, and began to speak in between breaths, "Luna...I...found this...in the...castle..." He reached in his pocket and pulled out the pendant and held it up to her grinning. "Isn't it...pretty!"
Luna looked at the pendant in Megumi's hand. It was bright and glittery, almost mesmerizing. "Did you...did you steal it?!"
"N...no! I found it! Renee...Renee said...to...keep it!" He stopped a moment to catch his breath. "She said no one would miss it. Don't you think I should keep it?"
She shrugged. "Sure, it's yours," she said as she patted his head.
Megumi continued holding the pendant in his hands, turning it over and over, playing with it as they continued to move forward.

Starting feel a bit lost, Mana flys a bit higher into the air, but with this new vantage point, locates the finish line. Spotting the that went to the fountian fastest, however, wasn't easier. Each path was very windy, and had dangerous prickly trees above the path. Mana snuffed angrily at the noble, why must they have mean plants with pretty flowers? Dropiing to what he guessed to be the best path, Mana flew on, looking over his shoulder only once, to see that Renee wasn't far behind at all.
Cirdan noted the necklace and said not a a word about it. But it looked like at least one thing had been made clear for him. Catching up to the racing pixies looked like it wold be at the finish line. That and Mana seemed to know where he was going. Cirdan simply followed the paths that the pixies chose for thier race. Deciding running after them would be a waste of energy. Cirdan simply decdied to match pace with the rest of his companions.

Renee was panting a little by now, but she continued to follow Mana around trees and through bushes. Soon she spotted the fountain ahead of them and started thinking. He had gotten a bit farther ahead of her, and she wasn't sure if she could pass him in time. But she sped up anyways, figuring she should at least try.

((No don't give up! RIght now they are on their way to Lord Gethin's Manor, because they have a letter for him. The letter is about Prince Dunstan and Venera's wedding. That's pretty much all that is going on at the moment.))

Mana wings felt liek they where gonna cramp and his heart felt like it was racing faster then his wings. Even with all this effort, Renee was now almost side by side, But a bigger probelm has come to mind for the pixie, and that was stopping. At this speed and considering how tired he felt, even if he jsut stopped flying, he would still crash into something. With a goran, he decided it would better off being in the water,since it shouldn'yt hurt as much. As the last of teh distance is closed, Manas wings finally did cramp, as Renee reach the goal, his trajectory, going not as planned... Landed him into the side of the well. Making a rather loud crunching noise. Knocked senseless, Mana landed in a heap on the ground, and on of his wings looked a bit odd.

Luna saw Mana crash and fall to the ground. She squinted her eyes to see if he was hurt, or if he would get up or not, but he just lied there. She looked up at Cidan, a bit of worry across her face, and asked him, "Is he going to be ok?"

Renee turned around when she heard a sickening thud. She gasped in horror, and quickly flew over to Mana's side. Not sure what else to do, she shook him lightly to see if he would wake up.
"Mana?" she asked hesitantly, "Are you still in there?..."
She looked at his wing, and winced. That ought to hurt. She ripped some cloth from her dress, and flew up to the foutain to get it wet. She had no medical expierience, so the least she could do was try to slow any swelling.

Megumi put the pendant around his neck and smiled as it sparkled brilliantly. The crystals in the pendant began to glow, but Megumi didn't notice, he was too busy noticing something else - Mana. "Oh no!" He ran over to Mana and Renee frantically asking if there was anything he could do. Mana's wing looked bad. Anyone would have known that it is not a good idea to touch or move an injured victim, but not Megumi. He bent over Mana and put his hands on his wing. Megumi's hands began to glow, and Mana's wing began to straighten and heal. Megumi removed his hands in shock, "Wha...what just happened?" He then noticed that the pendant around his neck was glowing. "Renne! The pendant! What's happening?"

Renee had to stop herself from being hypnotized by the shinyness of it in order to attempt an answer to his question, "I don't know. It must be special!" she chimed with delight and squealed, "You can use magic!! I'm almost jealous of you."
Hopefully Mana didn't have any other damage. She shook him lightly again.

"Magic?! Wow! I wonder what else this thing can do?" He said, playing with the pendant in his hands.
Cirdan, Artemis, and Luna had now caught up to the other three. Luna had seen what had happened and she was suspicious. "Megumi, just be careful with that thing, ok?"
"uh huh!" He nodded and and released the pendant to let it dangle around his neck. He looked up at Cirdan and asked, "Which way do we go now?"

Cirdan walked up to Mana, looked thoughtfully at the little pixie and sighed. Mana looked okay, especially aftr the healing barrage he had recieved. Though from whom, was a bit surprising. But in the ver least Cirdan decided the best method was to rouse the little one carefully... So Cirdan simply cups up a little of the water from the fountain, and splashes Mana in the face. Who immediatly sputters to consciousness. But not with his usaul vigor, and from the looks of it, seemed very dazed.
"Wha-what happened... How come I am all wet? I feel sore too... Oh... Thats right... Hehe Renee... You won..." Mana rises t ohis feet, and flutters his wings, and flinches..." I had a busted wing didn't I? Its all numb now, so someone musta fixed it.Thanks..."
Mana almost seemed a little too humble, but considering how lucky he was to have been healed... Twice! He seemed grateful and very embarrassed.

"Yay! He lives!" Renee chimed with delight, giving Mana a tight hug, before flying back up so that she was more at level with the people around her, "You scared us for a minute back there," she scolded, frowning.
She then waited for him to start feeling well enough to fly, so that they could continue through the gardens and on to Lord Gethin's manor.
