Gabriel yawned as he watched from the roof of a nearby house, he slinked into the shadows, almost invisible with his black cloak, "They didn't teach this at the Guard Training...." he thought to himself as he slowly chewed on an apple

"come on, Riakku" Nali said as they walked away

Gabriel yawned as he slowly drifted to sleep from the roof, "Shifts...finally....Over..." he thought to himself as he silently snored

"MEOW!" Riakku said as Gabriel fell asleep "Nows our chance" Nali said as s they walked back to the stand "you know what to do" Nali said to Riakku "meow" was his reply. he jumped from her shoulder and pretended to be hurt. the vendor rushed to help him and Nali rushed over and grabbed as many apples as she could carry and then blended into the crowds
Felix saw a crowd of people "wonder what they're looking at" he said as he walked to the commotion *gasp "Riakku?" he said

Gabriel smiled as he opened his eyes, "She fell for it..." he said as he jumped down from the roof and blended into the large crowds, "She messed with the wrong vendor...." he said to himself, as he started to follow her stealthily

when Riakku heard his name he was almost happy. but he remembered that Felix was a guard, so he ran to the crowds after Nali
Felix chased after the cat "i don't remember him being this fast" Felix grummbled

Gabriel sighed as he followed her, keeping a steady distance of 5 yards away from her, "Why is always the greedy ones that get caught..." he said to himself as he took a small drink of water from his waterskin, "And why am I talking to myself..." he said with a chuckle

Nali knew she was being followed which is why she took a maze of alleys. Riakku had sped up and ran into Gabriel's leg making him fall on Felix
Felix was knocked to the ground when Gabriel fell on him and Nali's necklace had fallen and lay opened on the ground

Nali had gotten out of Gabriel's sight for the time being "good job Riakku" she said petting the cat "meow" was Riakku's response "Fe..Fe..Felix is here? how did he find us?"
"ow" Felix said "yah that was Riakku, which means Nali is here too" he picked up the necklace and set off to find her

"Why did you give me that daggar anyway? What kind of person are you to have a daggar like that?"

"Two reasons: I thought you would sell the dagger and two its one of the ways I get my kicks." Minron laughed maniacly again, but soon coughed a bit and stopped. "I have such a dagger from my...Um...Father! Yes that will do..."
