TattletaleStrangler

PostPosted: Sat Jun 07, 2008 8:02 pm

Hi There! I'm Tat (short for TattletaleStrangler). I am a regular player, and I have about 4/5 years experience in tabletop gaming. I have only recently discovered the joy of online gaming! I like playing the shady characters who are a little bit crazy and obsessed with treasure, and my favourite classes are the warrior classes. Recently I've tried to lean away from that, so my active characters (on tabletop) are a level 3 Cleric/10 Ninja Drow in the Eberron setting, and a level 6 Beguiler/ 2 Dragon Fire Adept Human Half Dragon, also in the Eberron setting. It's funny cause the Half dragon released a red dragon from Dolaar that had been trapped there by a guy in the campaign with the Drow. She just said that they deserved what they got, and now she's on the Dragons speed-dial. mrgreen

So yeah, I'm ready to play and willing to attempt DMing.

I go my Mark Pierce on Gaia. I've been playing D&D and other systems for over 5 years, and I have most of 3.5 down to memory. Every Thursday I play at the local hobby store, and beyond that, with my own group of friends whenever we have the time. I tend to shy away from magic users in 3.5 because they tend to be very weak at the lower levels, spells being as restrictive as they are. 4.0 I may play a caster because of how they reworked the system. My active characters are an Exalted Drow Monk 2 named Kelune Filri, an Elan Psychic Warrior 10 named Rhiannon (No matter what they say, that event in the Tomb of Horrors DIDN'T happen!), and in 4.0, I have a Elf Ranger 2 named Urdan who is a pro at assassinating people (thank you multi-class rogue).

I also play using the Savage Worlds system for anyone who is familiar with it. Currently we are doing Rippers, and I play a Russian Nobleman who has been turned into a half-vampire, and recently acquired two cursed daggers that only I can use.

Another game I have played, and my favorite by far because of how the GM conducted it, was Twilight 2000; a post-apocalyptic survival RPG set in an alternate history where WWIII was sparked and instead of the cold war ending, Russia and the USA went nuclear. It was an OUTSTANDING game, and I very much miss my character, Pvt. 'Arnie' Eberhart. He got the nickname Arnie because he is German and had strength and stature attributes just below max. I miss that game...

I also run a d20 Modern campaign from time to time, and a Star Wars d20 when I don't feel like running Modern. I don't particularly like GMing, but I can do it in a pinch, and I am getting better at it.

I am a very strong RPer, and I try to flesh out my characters if I get the opportunities to. Unfortunately, my friends are more hack-n-slashy and we don't get to show off our character persona much (though, Urdan has collected the heads of all the enemies he has killed...). I hope to find a place here, and I'll see you all at the gaming table.

Hey, you all can call me Marsh. I have been playing tabletop for about seven years now, actually just got back from playing a section from Eyes of the Lich Queen. I usually end up playing once to three times a weak depending on what my gaming group are up to. I enjoy playing all types of characters, my favorite being the paladin. I've played too many characters to count, all who seem to die a very ironic death. I recently started to DM a game in the Ravenloft setting that has been entertaining. I'm something of a rules junkie and have been called a cheater for my optimization classes that I have come up with. Well anyway, looking forward to Playing with you all.

Hi, I go by Brigidt here. My real name's Kelsy, but I don't very much care for it...

I've been playing for a little under a year, and play other games with frequency. (I'm on a Midnight Club 3 binge right now gonk ). I tend to like to play characters on a more chaotic side, but right now my DM at the gaming place I go to made me be Lawful Good. I miss having random outbursts of cruelty and bopping the person in my party that always tends to be a half-orc. emo

Also, I'm a practicing Wiccan, and have been for the last five or so years. If I play Druid, I take it pretty seriously... lol

So.. I'm excited to play with you all! Although it seems like this place needs a little breath of new life... surprised

Heya I'm old but just started playing Gaia again figured I'd reintroduce myself. So you know who the random guy posting is.

I've been playin for about 7 years off and on.

I DM for my group 3rd ed. I'm just learning 4th but kinda hate changing for corporate reasons sigh.

I've been a bit of an RPG junkie as long as I can remember, love character making in general, and am the "Rules Lawyer" twisted

Right-o, I'm Lord, Lord RPGs, and I've been on Gaia for nearly one year. How time flies ect.

Anyway, I haven't really played D&D outside of vidcons (PC, Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2), but I'm looking forward to giving the actual game a shot. As one may guess by simply looking at my name, I'm slightly obsessed with the RPG genre (mainly in Vidcon form mind.)

Oh, and to top it all off, I prefer Magic or Divine characters. Toodles!

Well what can I say? I have all or nearly all of the 3.5 books. So I may pull some really unknown classes out of nowhere. For example the Assassin base class. So if you need info on just about anything PM me and I will try to find it for you.

Yeah I"m a party geek. I like to party but throw a good D&D crowd my way and wow a real party breaks out. anyways I have a crud ton of 3.5 and a chunk of the faerun stuff. So as said above arrow *up* I'll pull stuff outta nowhere......*cough* dragon shaman *cough* anyways look forward to the D&D and as blade cast said at the beginning PM me if you are wanting a faster paced game....though my DM skills are WEAK!!! I'm currently trying to DM for my brother in a one on one game.....and I think I'm failing horribly.

but practice makes better

Hello, everyone.

Haven't had a a real-life game in several years. I play, or try to play, D&D online with some of my friends. I'm working on a D&D project of sorts with a few others, but, it is difficult to progress while balancing the responsibilities of school.

I was recently referred to Gaia Online by a friend to be a place to go when I'm quite bored. But, now that I've discovered a D&D community within Gaia, it may attract more of my interest.

I no longer have my AD&D 2nd books. I have the three core 3.5 books, and the DMG and PHB of 4th edition.

Here's hoping I roll a 60 for an instant kill... Dang. >.<

'Allo! I've been interesting in D&D for a while now and I've been playing 3.5 for a year now. I have no interest in 4th. Why? Cause I'm not spending $100 on books.

I'm experienced with the rules, very little Ravenloft, and tend not to care about the fact that my favorite (Impossible) PC has a adjustment of +10. But I still follow the rules.

And to say how long I can keep my PC with out scrapping him...
I have a Elf Druid 11/ Wizard 10 that owns a fortress.(The one you can buy in DMG3.5).

And as for that perfect 60? I got a Kython to do that to another Kython.

Hey guys, I shouldn't have been surprised when I came across a DnD guild but I was.Anyways I've been playing for like a year now.I don't exactly have the books but I can always mooch them from my freinds 0.o
(they're expensive)again I love DnD, I am currently trying to come up with my own world , I don't have a name for it yet though.I've got the map done and I am working on the cities.

I love FF of course and the monster hunter series,so it'd be cool to do a monster hunter campaign,if anyone can come up with one.

I currently don't have axcess to a computer,so I try to get on when ever I go to my aunts, so I hope to see you guys around,I ma go look at the Pvp arena sounds fun!

Hello,

As you might have guessed, I am new to this guild. I've only been playing D&D for a few months, but I am borderline obsessive with the game now.

Ummm...don't know what else to say.

Hey all! Name's Zack, and I am new to the guild! Sweetness.

I have been playing D&D for two years (Vampire the Masquerade for 2 and WoD for 1), been going to a larp for three, play games religiously, and work two jobs! I love playing in any campaign, and rock out to just about anything!

Nice to meet everyone!

Greetings. I am Phrexyian Nightmare, but you may call me Phrex or Derrik. I've been into D&D for...4 years, I think. I've always loved the game and it is one of the best ever made, in my opinion. I am going to start larping (As soon as my bud gets out of jail) so yeah. I'm typically the DM in our campaigns, and it's usually a one on one game. (We each make 2 characters) My favorite creature is, and always will be, the Mindflayer. I'm also a big fan of Dragons and Oozes. Hopefully we get along just fine.
