Still in complete and utter darkness, Eden was unaware of the demon right beside her. She was helpless to defend herself anymore...

His attack had been successful, but Aiden could not break his concentration or connection with Bhaal, otherwise he'd have a free killing blow at Eden. Therefore, Aiden was forced to just stand there, unable to attack because physically moving required concentration as well, and even more for a physical attack.

Suddenly, Aiden sensed a large object being thrown at him, the demon had managed to hurl it towards him. Aiden had no choice but to break his contact, slide under the piece of metal and attack Bhaal's mind once again.

~Aiden attempted to re-enter Bhaal's mind with yet another vicious attack...~

Smoke slowly curled from the tips of Liora's 'eagles, and her chest rose up and down with the heavy rate of her breathing. Her fingers twitched at the triggers to no avail; she'd emptied her magazines on the grate and its interior, but the fruit of her actions had yet to reveal itself. Her thumbs shifted to the magazine release button, and the empty magazines clattered to the ground. It was then, after the ringing in her ears had subsided, that Liora heard the commotion out in the hallway. An overwhelming aura filled her senses like the scent of an onion would bombard the sense of smell. Her mind lurched to the first conclusion and stayed with it. As far as Liora knew, the sounds in the hallway could be Psycho running to feed on the unfortunate vampire-scientist. Liora wasn't yet sure whether or not she'd succeeded in stopping the scientist's escape. If not, it would suck to be him, pun intended.

Liora brought her guns down to her thights, inserting and simultaneously unhooking the magazines present there. The next course on the menu was nitrogen rounds with a side of normal grade bullets. Perhaps, Liora thought with a gleam in her eye, the desert would be a cold dish of revenge for Tyler.

Another session of noises erupted from the hallway. Liora glanced swiftly at Tyler. A moment passed before Liora rushed to the doorway, her decision made.

"That might be him. I'm going to check it out," spoke Liora, tossing her words over her shoulder towards Tyler. Her voice was slightly muffled by the cigarette still smoldering 'tween her lips. Her hands being occupied as they were, Liora didn't even pause to fiddle with the door; rather, she gave it a fierce kick with the toe of her boot. Had she done so with her heel, the heel on the boot would have undoubtedly shattered. And so, Liora erupted into the hallway with explosive force, her guns at ready. However, the culprit behind the sounds was not whom she thought it would be.

"Tokeru!" she exclaimed. She was slightly dissappointed that it wasn't the infamous blue blob lurking in the hallway, but she managed to keep this dissappointed well masked behind her shocked expression.

Sabrina had raised her gun fill with regular ammo, firing full force at the thing, yet it still had gotten into the vent with all the firing that had come at it. She growled deeply, but watched as Liora went to the vent, then went into the hall. Sabrina ejected her regular clip and loaded another round. She was getting fed up with this thing and she had bairly been here fourty five minutes. She slid her pistols back into her hoster as she listened ecnoring the sounds out in the hall. She could hear the metalic thuds of a body against venting pannels. She could hear it in the opposit room as the lab tec made it's way through the building. Taking the door to the second lab room as she entered finding the noise farther once again. A vent hatch was on the ceiling, taking out her nitrogen loaded gun she aimed for the vent. As it erupted onto the vent it froze. Taking her other pistol and firing the vent great shattered falling to the floor. Placing the nitrogen pistol into her mouth as she slid the other into it's shoulder holster. She crowched and quickly lept up grabbing ahold of the edge and pulling herself up into the vent. She could hear the metalic thumps clearer now, though they sounded farther away. She slowly began crawling listening for the direction which she had to head.

The demon was quite agile, but so was Liora. As she saw both fist and steel propelling towards her, she leapt quickly to the right and outside of the punch. Her 'eagles were the only weapons she had out right now; to be honest, she wasn't exactly expecting to face what was presumably Tokeru's evil, demonic twin. She was right to label him a schizo previously.

"Hah hah. Clever." Her voice couldn't have been anymore sarcastic.

She aimed her guns close-range towards Tokeru's wings, firing three shots in quick succession towards where the wing joint connected with his back. Two shots were normal rounds, and one was a silver nitrate. Then, Liora leapt away from Tokeru with her lycan-agility. Though her landing place did not put her too far away from Tokeru, it did buy her time. She holstered the gun containing the normal rounds and unsheathed her own trusty sword instead. The silver blade glowed a subtle red hue as it reflected the firey light cast from Tokeru's sword.

"Why must all evil things around here have an unoriginal and lousy sense of humour?"

Until now she had remained dormant...It seemed to her that there were enough hunters here, and she did not want to get in the way. But it was then that she came to the realization that she was only getting older. As Bhaal shot past her in an attempt to hit Liora, she threw herself at him, to intersect him mid-tackle, as it were. What she was going to do once she hit him, she wasn't sure...but anything seemed better than simply standing there like a bump on a log.

Her fangs elongated as she hurtled towards him, throwing everything she had into her momentum to make the hit as hard as possible. Her eyes were still the crimson shade that was so uncharacteristic of her, with a sort of malicious undertone to them. Tainted with a hint of mischeif, there was a small grin on her face as, she hoped, she would collide with him, not the wall on the other side.

The corridors were cramped, alright. If she were given the choice, Liora would choose another place to fight it out with this so-called 'God of Murder'. Liora flung herself against the wall to evade the bolts of darnkess, and she felt their deadly energy singe her back as they passed. That was too close a call. However, she could not possibly contemplate how she could have done things differently, for now Bhaal was propelling towards her as well. Liora rushed forwards two steps as though to meet him head-on, but, instead, Kerrigan beat her there.

"s**t!" she exclaimed. "Kerri, careful!"

Liora raised her gun once again, firing the final shots from her magazine into the wings of the demon. She hoped that the bullets would mess up the monster's trajectory enough to prevent him from executing an attack on Kerri. If it caused him to fall, Liora was relying on Kerri's vampiric agility to get her out of the way.

Her thumb swiftly traversed to the magazine-eject button, and Liora quickly loaded a magazine of Mary's Blessing in her gun. According to what she read about it, the concoction was more potent on the stronger demons; she suspected that it would wreak havoc on a demon-god.

EDIT sad (Gah. I have to go for now. gonk ))

She grimaced as she was thrown back into teh wall, twisting ehr body around so she landed in a crouched position. "Damn...a*****e," she muttered, cracking her neck slightly. Pulling out her two magnums, she darted after him, her vampiric speed aiding considerably as she rushed towards him. Whatever it was that was making these "force fields", it seemed that they would have to find it before they could truley take him down.

However...perhaps a Pincer attack was just what the doctor ordered. With Liora at one end, and ehr at the other, maybe she could accomplish something with the other huntress. Sliding to a halt slightly, as she was about to run out of running room, she aimed with other her magnums, and began firing away at him. She unloaded 8 shots total...4 from each magnum. The mary's blessing bullets were aimed for his back, around where his heart would me, the pure silver bullets were mostly aimed for his legs, trying to slow him down. All she could do was hope that Liora, or herself, would have some luck.
