RanmaxHikaru We have all said this a thousand times but she's too stupid to listen. It doesn't mater what irrefutable proof we have supporting Clotif she's still going to stupidly scream Cleris until she's blue in the face. I know you're trying to be nice to her but you can't have an intelligent discussion with someone who is too diluted to see reason. She's not smart enough to waist you're time on. We have all tried having an intelligent debate with her and yet she still twists things to her own liking and makes up lies. Anyone with half a brain could read from page 79 to here and see that were right. She's really not worth waisting you're time on, which is why I have stopped replying to her bullshit. And I dont know if your mother ever taught you any manners. First of all I dont care if you dont reply to me, it only shows your ignorance. As I posted:Quote: Cloti is not canon no matter how many times you try and say it is. You can twist whatever the creators say and you can say I twist evidence, but hey that doesnt prove the canonness of Cloti. The moment when Nomura comes out and ends the LTD we will then see who is right. Because I'm tired of having to repeat myself and hearing you cuss and repeat yourself. End of discussion. And please I dont know if you realize but from the way you talk you come off very rude. Here are some tips to help you come off in a better way 1)Please stop with the excessive cussing. I know once inawhile when we are angry when tend to say a few things that we normally wouldn't but you do it constanty! I mean this is over the internet and so you can control what you type. So please could you just cut it out a bit. 2)Please stop trying to downsize me. I truly couldn't care less if you hate me or think I'm the dumbest person you've ever typed to, either way it doesnt effect me. But if you want to make a point stop posting why you hate me. That doesnt make you seem that intelligent.
Thank you come again.Twindream Ouch...kinda harsh there Pink. Ayyy....I don't know if being someone with maternal instincts or with some maternal bond really excludes them from being lovers. rolleyes We all know that both Aeris and Tifa have maternal insticts with Tifa's case a little different because she's caring for Cloud yes, BUT Pink, you keep neglecting the other piece. You keep putting the "mother" label on Tifa when clearly it's not the entire case. Cloud, who is a 'big kid' himself in SOME respects. The way you say it is like Cloud is a complete child. rolleyes If you remember Case of Tifa, it shows Cloud with a father instinct towards Denzel and Marlene. This doesn't exactly say 'big kid' to you does it? Tifa even states that Cloud is like a young father and that this was the family she wanted. Tifa does have a certain maternal bond to Cloud, but only because he's still developing as a person. *and I've said this for about a thousand times already* Ha, I never thought I was a harsh person! Apologize I do! But I agree with you when you say that both Aerith and Tifa have maternal sides to them. I was just frustrated when Aerith has a maternal side its wrong but when Tifa has a maternal side people ignore that. That's what made me angry.

Amylin Out of morbid curiousity... since the koibito argument comes up so much here. Did the whole "dearest one" debate never get to American shores or am I just so old that no one else remembers it? They're basically the same arguments except the "dearest one" argument appeared in 1998 when Squaresoft released those scene cap models. I think looking at both sides of this different arguments reveals something worth noting about both sides of the fanbase. So does no one remember it, did it not get to America, or what? I'm not debating either side... I just want to know because no one here has ever mentioned it. ...? I havent heard of it myself. I'll go search for it but, would you like to elaborate Amylin? : D

I've certainly never heard of it and I think I'm the same age as you.

Anyone with half a brain could read from page 79 to here and see that were right. She's really not worth waisting you're time on, which is why I have stopped replying to her bullshit. What I think is pointless, is arguing about your 'sides' and not looking at the other pairing through another person's eyes. I see Cleris and don't look at it and say, "Omg, it's impossible. It has no chance of being canon." When I look at Cloti, I don't say "Omg. It's absolutely canon. Cleris has no chance, because of these statements." True, those statements with 'Kobito' and 'together' are on the Cloti's side, but that doesn't rule out Cleris all together just yet, and though I don't necessarily agree with that pairing, I know from VII and AC and even FURTHER statements, that it still has a very good change of being canon, just as Cloti does. What I think, is that Cloti has a lot of facts supporting it, but Cleris you have to look more into the 'deeper' meaning and almost 'hidden' messages. I think Cleris is based more on assumptions and the way you interpret things, rather than facts. Don't get me wrong, there ARE facts to the couple, just not as much as Cloti, I think. With Cloti, there didn't seem to be 'hidden' meanings--- just straight up feelings. Well, as much hidden meanings anyways. Twindream Ouch...kinda harsh there Pink. Tifa does have a certain maternal bond to Cloud, but only because he's still developing as a person. *and I've said this for about a thousand times already* Okay. About this, if you watch the 'behind the scenes' of Advent Children, they were saying how they WANTED to make Cloud seem like a 'big kid'. Like he didn't know his feelings, and that he was still trying to find them. So, they weren't saying Cloud was a complete child, no; just that he was a bit child-like in the fact that he didn't know his feelings like he should. . . He had to be encouraged on what to do. In Case Of Tifa, I agree with what you said, though! Ha, I never thought I was a harsh person! Apologize I do! But I agree with you when you say that both Aerith and Tifa have maternal sides to them. I was just frustrated when Aerith has a maternal side its wrong but when Tifa has a maternal side people ignore that. That's what made me angry. Well, in Maiden Who Travels The Planet, it said that Aeris wore a smile that resembled a caring mother. In The Way To A Smile, it says the same thing about Tifa, that her feelings were that of a mothers. So, I agree; both have that maternal side. So saying that 'Tifa is just a sibling to Cloud' or 'Aeris is just like a mother to Cloud' aren't really WORTH debating about. Aeris and Tifa both, are both close to Cloud, so close that they COULD be family. That's what I think, anyways. I don't think Tifa was meant to be Cloud's sister, or Aeris his mother. >_<; Sorry for jumping in!

Huh... that would really explain why no one has yet to bring it up. It was basically the European version of the koibito argument. People that were for dearest one were say the exact same thing that people for koibito are saying now and visa versa. Well, sure, I'll elaborate; I won't debate but I will explain what we in called Ireland the "dearest one war".
Basically... Final Fantasy was so popular in Europe that Squaresoft (now SE) had their own officially published catalog so you could buy merchandise directly from them; games, plushies, action figures, etc. Well, in the section where they were advertising scene cap models that were depicting popular romantic scenes like the Highwind scene and such, SE used the words "Cloud's dearest one". It caused such a huge debate that in following catalog issues SE cut the dearest one line out. In a nutshell... everything I see in the koibito argument were the exact same things I used to see in the dearest one argument. I just thought that was interesting.

I think its Aeris because if he really loved Tifa he would have gotten over Aeris' death. After two years, or atleast started to.

When Some-one close to you dies, it isnt something you can't just forget so easily. I mean, when Zack died, Cloud tried to BE him. I don't think it's a nice thing to say, "If you loved me, you would forget about that other girl who died, and that other guy who died too." I'm sorry,... that's your opinion. ><;; It just made me a little sad inside.

I think Cloud really loved Tifa. But he was so mentally messed up, he was afraid to tell her his feelings, and though she only saw him as a friend. So when Aerith came along, he started having feelings for her. But even if Aerith didn't die, I think he would've been with Tifa.
