"Um...Yes, definately...."Said Celia, slightly suprised by the quick and rather extensive response. "Soo...."She stuttered a little, trying to not seem as though she was changing the topic, but also trying not to just sit and be silent as she would normally do; however, the attempt to be....'bold' as it were, was failing. "Your names are um....Kanak and Micoi then....?"She asked very quietly, just repeating what she thought she had heard a few moments ago.
Yoko seemed throughally done assessing whether or not Kanak was trustworthy, and thusly turned to Micoi. He fluttered off of the first's shoulder, and then onto the latter's. "Hi,"He said, in his little high-pitched chirp of a voice. He stared at her hair for a moment, and then side-stepped closer to her, brushing up against it. "Pretty...."He said, seeming to smile as only a bird could.
((Birds are funny. >.<))

"Kanak." The dragon laughed sheepishly then smiled at the bird. "Why, thank you," she said and raised a hand to touch the bird's head with her index finger.
Kanak nodded at Celia's question. "Yes, that's our names." Then he let his gaze sweep over the company. "Let's cut to the chase," he said, crossing his arms over his chest lightly, spear caught inbetween. "There's a villiage not far from here where you can get aid for your little lady. Also, Arinas isn't a place you go to for a vacation, why are you here? Or what are you here for? People don't usually come up here to this temple, mostly because very few thinks there is anything more to it than a ruin," Kanak said, narrowing his eyes slightly for a second.

Celia's head drooped a bit; Why did everyone call her 'little lady'? It made her feel very inadequate. All she could bring herself to think of though was something she had once read in a book: "Our buisness is our own." Though, she didn't think that would be polite to say....But the truth might not be safe to say either.
Yoko chirpped a little, almost like a purr as he had his head stroked.
(( xd blatant LOTR referance....I love those books...))

"It's alright, Celia.," Jett turned his head to smile at her, then turned back to Kanak and Micoi, his expression more stern. "We're seeking the Dragon Queen."

Both Kanak and Micoi blinked at Jett simultaneously then glanced at each other, clearly surprised. They seemed to converese silently and without gestures, using their eyes only.
After a moment of silence, Kanak turned his attention back onto the group but his eyes were on Jett's black ones. "The one you seek is not here. She was born here in Arinas and is still here, that we're sure of, but she's not here. I can tell you that there is no village past the temple ruin up north." He said calmly but making it clear that that was all they had... or were going to tell them.
Micoi had been standing next to the youkai, silent but keeping her eyes on the group too.

"Is there anything other than the temple here? We must find her, for the Dragon Lord's sake!" Jett pressed on emphatically. "Is there anything either of you know about her?"

"The temple was built long ago, just after the continent was reawakened and the restoring of it had started. It's mostly dedicated to faeries and have nothing to do with you dragons. We'are, you could say, its guardians. I've loved here for centuries and I can tell you that no one has passed the temple without me knowing about it. Trust me, there's only youkai north of here." Kanak dismissed the other,it was clear that that was all he had to say. "Arinas is big and teeming with magic, you'll probably find her. A creature such as the Dragon Queen can't go far without being known for what she is." The youkai made it sounds as if the person tehy were searching for was a mere thing. Beside him Micoi let out a small cough then smiled apogetically at the group.
"He's right, you know. It would be impossible for the Dragon Queen to go unnoticed here," she said with a friendly smile.

"But we must find her! I m......I mean, we would like to speak with her." The dragon sighed and shook his head. "Ah...we'll talk later. We really need shelter and some rest right now."

"I'm sorry, but we cannot help you. The villiage is not too far away and you would be able to reach it before nightfall," Kanak said, but the sorry was more out of politeness probably than feeling.
"Well..." Micoi began," we can tell you this. Not too long ago, not even days actaully, a Dragon Knight was here."

"Not," Kanak said shortly. "The one Micoi's talking about is the reborn Wind Dragon, Hayate," he informed them, making it sound as if such a thing happened every day. "The Knight is a faerie called Midare and she left not even a whole day ago, headed for Dusis and Draqueen... if it still stands that is,or wherever your capital is."

"Draqueen is still our capital..."Said Celia quietly. SHe was very interrested by this information about Hayate. She remembered reading that he had once been eaten, and several other facts about the dragon....But never heard about any prospect for it to be reborn again.

Baran's eyes widened at the mention of this new Knight, and he felt his guard lower slightly. He had to admit, he was interested.
Hayate... He had heard something important about that name before, probably in one of the lessons the Fighters were supposed to take. While they spent most of their time training, they still had short lessons occasionally, especially just after joining the Tribe.
Aiketh waited patiently in the hallway, stepping to the side to let a harried maid past. Now that she had some time to recollect her thoughts, she tried to plot out a chart about what they needed to speak about.
First, there was the question of if there was anyway to send word to Lord Jett and the others about any developments or complications back in Dragoon. They also needed to think about how they were to recieve messages from the others... Celia might have a way of speaking to them, but how were they to determine if it had been tampered with or not?
The matter of security also weighed heavily upon her. Aiketh knew that the others had agreed that they were not to send out Liozu or more Fighters than the minimum required, but she wanted to think more about the still-missing other Knights.

"While the information about the Dragon Knight of Wind is incredible, we really must focus on getting shelter right now. We will go to the village. Maybe we can find out more about the Wind Knight and the Dragon Queen." Regaining his bearings, Jett began to direct the group south, towards the village Kanak pointed out, leaving the odd couple.

"I'm sure you'll meet her when you return to Dusis," Micoi smiled and waved at them as they walked away.
Grabbing the plate, Illusia hurried back to where Aiketh was waiting. "Alright, let's go. The food is still warm," he said as they headed for the Yellow Officer's office. The dragon had no problem with eating there, he'd just have to be a bit careful about the papers and other stuff onhis desk. "So," he asked while they walked, "on the basics, what are the topics you wanted to discuss with me? Anything that is really stressed or important?"
The 'odd couple' followed the group with their eyes until they were out of sight, and out of hearing too. When the two were sure the foregin group were too far away to catch anything Micoi turned towards Kanak. "Kanak..." she said gently, placing a hand on his arm.
The youkai turned his head down and looked the dragon in the eye, sighing. "I know... I know." He smiled at her. "I just wanted a chance to say goodbye in private."
"You knew this day was coming," she said smiling. "We both did. Yet here we are... and totally unprepared for it."
"Everything see,s to come at once, doesn't it? It wasn't long ago that the Youkai Lady kidnapped you. I would have liked to have you for myself a bit longer before I hand you over, but now..."
"I'm glad you understand though, not many would," Micoi smiled and then hugged the youkai hard, Kanak holing her tight himself.
"I'll miss you."
"Silly, you'll be able to reach me any moment of the day. I'm only a heartbeat away," she said, touching the crystal pendant hanging around his neck. A gift from her, created with the Dragon Eyes. It let the youkai teleport wherever he wished by simply holding the stone and thinking the location, or person.
"I know." Kanak smiled at her before placing a kiss on her forehead and then on her mouth. "Go get ready, before I change my mind and lock you up," he grinned at her.
The woman laughed at him, he could seemingly joke at any hour of the day whatever the situation. "I will. You take care until I see you again. Bye Kanak, love you forever," she smiled at him before running off towards the north and the temple, having to pick up a few things.
((XD Now we just need the gang to walk a bit and give me some time...))
