Any other grade 11s out there mildly pissed at the government for the new CAPP/portfolio system.

Looking over the requirements I have NO ******** clue what they want. It's one big-a** waste of time to me. Oh hurrah. Let me spend tens of extra hours pouring over a folder in which I have to 'respond to human rights' and 'display co-operation'. I have ACTUAL subjects to work on.

It seems so DEGRADING too. Having some outsider come into my life and judge my sucesses.


i looked at my bf's portfolio thingy an was like wtf im so glad i missed that by a year. i looks damn confusing. *huggles*


IT IS.

So annoying. I don't get it.

What pisses ME off most is the fact that I have to explain my 'triumphs' to some stuffy stranger who will grade me on my choices.

I feel so. Demeaned.

Jesus. It's like they want me to write an additional 18 essays on crap like 'emotional well-being'

I failed.
I'm also in this stupid program.
I see no point in it.
I don't want to do, but must or I don't grad and I'm already a year behind mad

I can do the 80hrs of activity, but nothing else, not that I suck at everything, I jut don't have the urge to do it.
And I am still very unclear about this whole thing.

It was perfect before why did they have to change the ******** thing? gonk

And I feel like I'm just a lab rat or something sweatdrop

I damn well hate it, I feel likethe government is spying on me and if I don't do a good enough job for them they'll come to my house and kill me or something.

I failed grade 9. Hence the reason I'm in the ******** program

And its stupid, I would be passing math (48%) if the damn tests weren't worth for damn much(70%)

I can't actually describe the hatred I have towards CAPP and the graduation plan.

I tried to write them a letter, calmy outlining everything wrong with the system and my dislike of being used as a guinea pig for a system so flawed a third grader could have spotted the problems in the ROUGH plans.

But by the end of the second paragraph it had descended into pure flaming.

Its nice having the Minister of Ed. in town
I just friggin' ripped a letter to her saying how bad all this is. Response was something like this:

"Thank you for your letter
Yes there are flaws in it but that should not stop you on seeing how great this new program is it gets you ready for the outside world..."

It does?
Since when does screwing up our grad good for us?
*goes off and fails every course for the hell of it then drops out*

YAY!! I'M ONE OF THE MANY PEOPLE THAT DROPPED OUT. GIMME MONEYZ!!! xd

Oh.

So. I should see some sort of benefit in a system that forces all students to conform to one style of organization and has a group of people judge your life and choices.

Knowing how to react to human rights and discuss the cultural impacts of art will DEFINATELY come in handy when majoring in Bio. Or, um, Statistics. Or half the goddamned things I could major in.

Or, rather, as most people in my home town will be doing, working at the diner or gas station.

Thank you government.

Agh, I'm just glad that by the time I'm in grade 11, 2 groups of people will have already gone through the grad portfolio things and the teachers will know more.
