I play on a 1 1/2 c Bach mouthpiece and i play a super olds professional trumpet, costs around 3000-4000 dollars now because they don't make them anymore

it is harder to play than the other one that i used to play

I heard that colored trumpets don't produce the same sound as the others and the sound's not as pretty.
But I saw this awesome blue one and a black one. Both of which I want to get. =) But I have to buy those myself and need a well paying job first. So that's not going to happen until after college.
I also have a friend who has a red trumpet.

YES a thread dedicated to the one of the bands most popular instrument....nd it seems im not alone ya =D...i have 1 trumpet a $1,200 trumpet that is the intermidite lvl and plays so kool ^^

one is a cornet ^^ its OLLLD and i don't like it XD
da other was is a basic bach brass trumpet that like... you get from school XD its not crappy but its not amazing ^^ ...i use it for marching band mostly now...its name is amy XD
and then i have a bach strad ^^ pretty sexy silver amazing-ness =D ITS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! and its name is Stan heart heart heart

Hey chums! I am a trumpeteer too pirate RAH! I quite enjoy playing it. Hah, sweatdrop after I got my braces off, it took me like 6 months to learn how to play again (so it made a good sound when I blew through it, I still knew the fingering of course) and now it's just starting to sound better. rofl

I have two trumpets.
Both silver-plated.
One of them I dont use.
Its old...like, 40+ years old.
The other I use on a daily basis.
Its only a year old, and still sticks
sometimes but, its one of the best
in the section...the prettiest too. biggrin

I also have a friend who has a red trumpet. yeah the colored instruments are crap...If you want a good sounding trumpet you get a Stradavarious like me ^_^ lol. mine was a sale from some kid who played it once and then was like "i dont wanna play this anymore" and sold it XDD i was like "psh...idiot..." so i lucked out on that. otherwise they run like $5,000? i think. lol. then i have my original one. its a Bach, but its gold and i need to get a new mouthpiece...cause its like 6 years old...and dented. XDD
