It was telling her to leave, telling her to get lost. This was no place for her, or so it told her. A screaming was in her ears and she shook her head violently. Her core glowed and dimmed at the sounds as if it could understand the words where she could not. A shiver went through her spine and she looked ahead again. "Almost there, even if you don't want me too."

It almost blew her clean off of the glider and it went nearly spinning. The lights in the distance grew dim and she managed to wrangle the glider back into a position to get near the island. It was slow going but she got it closer, managing to navigate to the ground. Slamming into it ungracefully she fell off, dusting off her body and looking back at the glider she sighed. It was in no great shape after coming so close to falling into the fog.
The shrine stood before her and she entered, taking a hold of an orb. It had been sitting her waiting for her, she was certain of it. Like a fog moving over her vision she blinked and was back on the cliffs, staring out at the beauty of the mist covered cliffs and out to the islands.
Beautiful and deadly.

Ixb ran up immediately to the glider and cranked it. He got the hang of it now! After a short noise he blasted off.

Suddenly Ixb hit the fog and he felt a surge of courage fill him. He'd not had this experience before. He was able to look down and admire the height without fear.

The glider finally hit the roughest pockets of air and he knew that if he could hold out a bit farther he'd reach the end.
