I stand up slowly and hug Xiao from behind.
"Oh, it's just a little fun, no need to get upset, besides, you were completely adorable!" I say into her ear.
"Besides, I broke your fall at least!" I say with a chuckle. As to address Nyx, I turn to her.
"Hey, I was just thinking about what you were sayin' the other day, so I figured I'd try to go a day without asking other people to help me out. Sadly, I can't put anything on my torso without help because my wings make me need specially designed garments, so I chucked on fancy dresses to the list of things I'd give up for the day!" I say in an obviously joking voice, inflecting both self depricatation and a bit of snark all at the same time.

"Well, next time we're somewhere with a bath, I'm going to take one. And we should probably purchase a bathroom at some point. I'd rather not have to go outside when nature calls. And baths are needed to ensure we stay in good health and don't get too stinky. And, speaking of health, PLEASE tell me we have food." I say to Xiao as I wrinkly my nose.
I lightly cover Irene's ears as I turn to Layla. "A reminder, we DO have men here, and we don't need them getting horny from seeing you naked." I say flatly and uncover Irene's ears again.
"How about we go the beach while we wait for the others to get ready?" I say to Irene to distract her from the fact that I covered her ears without warning.

"Rivers work just as well to that end! But, no need to worry about the men, they've got their head on their shoulders, they can contain themselves!" I reply playfully. I them look at Xiao.
"Oh, Xiao, it's the small things you gotta laugh about, like, y'know, when you knifed my laces yesterday!" I say with a laugh.

Irene looks up at you.
"Okay," she says. "Is it fun?"

Xiao giggles.
"Okay, you're right," she says.

It is a flat island with hardly any trees, rocks, etc. Whoever built the castle clearly decided to go with the castle over the landscape.

"I'm still confused as to why a cathedral themed hall doesn't have a bathroom in it though, considering it's castle shaped and all, since, they did have restrooms and baths in both a cathedral and a castle... for sanitation purposes..." I say flatly in agreeance with Nyx about the lack on amenities, expecially considering the agent clearly didn't tell us about that. I might have to lay into him so pulling a little con on us...

I make a sound similar to growling as I realize I'll have to take a bath on the main floor. "God knows I would at least like to take a bath in peace..." I mutter to myself as I pull the shirt off completely and walk around to see if there's anything like a robe or a towel. I glance out the window once more as I do so at the ocean. "Hmm... I wonder if bathing in the ocean would be a bad thing..." I speak a bit more lightheartedly before resuming my search and contemplating between a public bath and maybe a hidden ocean spot...if I could find one...

She points to a small "hallway" between the staircases leading to the rooms. At the end of this small passage, you see a staircase heading downward.

As you are looking, you notice a door you hadn't before. Was it magical? Or were you just too tired or focused on your clothes to see it? However, you estimate that there are few hidden spots on the ocean surrounding the little island. The castle is designed so that eyes can find their way to every inch of shoreline around the castle's boundary walls.

I pretty much shrug off the ocean idea...for now... as I look curiously at the door. "Now, where do you go...?" I speak in a rather playful tone as I begin opening the door to see what's behind it.

I head towards the staircase.
"Can't hurt to check, eh?" I say to Xiao.
"Or maybe you'd enjoy a swim on the beach first? I'd probably need a shady alcove though, although the morning sun really isn't that bad. If these windows open up, I might be able to have a nice flight with you! Well, glide, but yeah."

As you open the door, you are greeted by the sight of a medieval toilet. However, there is not a tub in this room. There are also no towels, but there is a single robe hanging from the other side of the door.
Layla:
"No, I think we should check this first," Xiao replies. "It IS important, after all."
The passage is dark near the staircase, but you can see a faint glow coming from whatever chamber is below.

"Yup. As long as you're careful not to go out too far and get carried away by the tide it is. The first time I went I was in awe of how BIG the sea is. Oh, and DON'T try to drink the salt water. It's NASTY."

"Very well! I think it would be nicer to walk on the beach at night, anyways... Maybe a colorful sunset!" I say as I head down the staircase towards the glow, half expecting Xiao to sneak up and surprise me with something that will inevitably put us in an awkward situation. However, just now, that strange painting came up in my mind from my parent's room... the curious look on the man's face...

At the bottom of the staircase, you find that the glow is being given off by a small orb sitting atop a pillar in the center of the room. It is a strange room. It almost seems like a trophy room, but without the trophies. Xiao walks past you, her eyes wide.
"So pretty..." she whispers as she reaches out to touch the orb.
Do you stop her? Or let her touch it?
