Ensu OdaA boy walked into the Kage's office. He wore a darker colored out fit and was of an average build. The only thing out of the normal on this genin was two poles on his back. One was long and had a ball and spike on it. The other was long and had a blade on the end. The blade was made of a metal only found in meteorites and it had a blueish tint to it. He walked up to the Kages door and knocked. He stood and waited to be allowed in. Ensu had came to see if he could find someone to train him.

Ensu OdaEnsu saw a bored just down the hallway from the kage's office. On the board was a bunch of mission papers they were the lowest possible rank missions. So while he waited for his kage he was to go do Mundane missions but nothing says he couldn't do more then one mission at once. He was thinking of doing two or more missions at once this would give him double the money in the end. Even though he only saw a fraction of it he would do his best. He grabbed a bunch of the papers and headed out of the office he was going to go to the streets and see where to go from there.

LT sat in his cair at the vacant mizukage's office. He was in his own chair that e always sat at, which was strategically placed at such a point to where the jonin commander could always be within arm's reach of the coffee maker, and also that he could dive in and defend the mizukage against almost any attack. As he sat there leaning back in his chair, arms folded with the T.V. on, LT could elp but wondered how the village was fairing after an amazing fight against Luo. Even though almost everyone except LT got their butt whipped, life still goes on in this village with a new understanding of the Mizukages power. Even LT was light years behind that of the Pride of the Mist, and Matsuya, LT was throughly impressed of how much Matsuya has grown since the last time he saw him.

Then again? Why would any of them stop him. It was normal for Yamatano to visit the Mizukage regularly, and was always allowed straight up. Today, however, he did not proceed to walk straight through the door when he reached the top, a move that infuriated the Mizukage's shrill secretary. Rather, he stopped at her desk, putting a small scroll in front of her, and said "Please give this to Lord Mizukage, I'm sure he'll understand." With that, he exited the office.
The secretary, however, wasn't so compliant as to simply hand over a letter because some chuunin told her to. Once Yamatano had left, she unfurled the scroll and read it's contents.
Lord Mizukage,
Today, I will be going back to Lord Manda, to further my pursuit of strength. I will come back stronger, able to provide you with a challenge worthy of a Kirigakure Shinobi. I'm taking quite a few of the scrolls for myself, but rest assured, the results I produce will be well worth it. But for now, send the bill for them to the Hatake coffers. Furthermore, I am assigning myself a mission. I will find him, and bring him- or what's left of him when I'm done- back. Do not try to find me.
-Hatake Yamatano
The Secretary read and reread the letter, growing all the more confused. Who was Manda? What results from taking scrolls? Most important of all, who was 'him'? These questions ran through her mind as she rerolled the scroll, putting it in her desk to give to the Mizukage later.

Matsuya was still whistling his tune as he approached the tower and nodded to the ANBU member standing guard out front in greeting. Of course, Matsuya couldn't see their face. But the odds were pretty good that he'd grown up with them. In return, the ANBU nodded back. Matsuya's small grin returned as he ginerly opened the tower door and started the trek to the top. He took note of the secretary sitting at her desk, trying to figure something out as he reached the floor of the office and walked past her.
Matsuya slid the door open and looked inside. Luo wasn't present, odd. But in his place was LT, sitting in his chair. Matsuya smirked and walked inside. "Well it seems that we're the only ones present, LT. What a shame." Matsuya sat a chair facing Luo's desk and rested on lag on the other. He rested his head on his right hand out of boredom and played with the bead in his bangs. "So what's there to do? I should start heading out on intelligence missions, but I was going to wait a bit." Matsuya's bored eyes, locked onto LT as he spoke. He knew his friend wouldn't take long to answer. And judging by the coffee pot nearby, LT was already filled with caffeine.

LT leaned back farther in his chair as his eyes followed Matsuya when he entered the room and walked over to a vacant seat facing the Mizukages desk. "A shame it is indeed." The Jonin sighed as he turned his attention back to the cartoons that droned on in the back ground. Without turning his head, LT slid open a draw that he sat next to and pulled some random snackage from it. LT let his gaze drift to the empty mizukages chair with a desk that was ever piling up with assorted paperwork before locking his lazy gaze meeting Matsuya's. " There is plenty to do, I'm just not motivated to do any of it. Where would you go to collect intel anyway?" He popped a random Nomnom in his mouth, and replaced his mask, taking a few seconds to chew before pulling down his mask again and repeating the process. " I suppose Luo wouldn't mind where you went, I just don't know where the 'curious' areas are in the world to apply your. . . skills. " LT leaned forward in his chair with what seemed a new change in atmosphere as if to drop a hint. " I guess Suna is a little overlooked nowadays. Well, so is the rest of the world, but I honestly don't know, we are all at a stand still. Even Kiri, until the Mizukage gets back. I figure Ill just train and boost up our forces."

Matsuya listened as LT spoke and then shrugged at his question as to where he would go to gather intel. "Good question. I was thinking Suna since Zane did his little show over there, but who knows." Matsuya sighed and leaned back in the chair a little further. "I want to go after him, LT. He might not know I'm in Kirigakure's service yet. He might still trust me. If anything, I have to try. It's not like him to just destroy a village without intent." Matsuya reached into his robes and withdrew his notebook. He flipped through the pages of notes he'd already taken. They were mostly on Konoha. That was logical seeing as he was Hokage at one point, but he had notes on the other villages too. They were few and far between, but he had some people who could fill in the blanks. Kai was the perfect example. His little cousin from Iwagakure would surely have something interesting to say, if not just a few curse words about him being gone so long. "I'm thinking of talking to Sev aswell. He could get me back into Konoha under the ruse that I'm his client. Assuming, of course, you'd allow it, sensei." Matsuya smirked at his last remark. It had been a while since anyone had called him sensei. But Sev had been one of the first. And the fact that LT now handled the boys training made Matsuya a little happy.

LT sighed, "Ahh, so the hunt for Zane Hajime continues." The Jonin commander sighed again as he rested his elbows on his knees with his face buried in his hands for a few seconds before looking up back at his old friend. "I wonder why the world is so obsessed with that man and why is everyone trying so hard to find the answers to his actions from his person, when his actions speak clearly and answer themselves." LT slowly rose from his creaking chair with small groan. He turned away from Mat towards his coffee maker and LT started a fresh brew listening to Matsuya talk about his prized student, well, Sev was not so much as a prize as he was one of LT's footholds and stronghold in the future. In a sense, Sev was LT's protege. "Sensei? No, not to you anymore. We are equals now, if anything I'm your senior but even that should be hazy. You should take Sev with you, Zane doesn't know about him and the boy could use some missions to get under his belt. He is quite handy in some situations, in others, he's a hand full. He's been to suna before, and has killed before. And I've taught him a little bit in the Infinite one, besides that you know him as much as I do. . ." LT took a deep breath before continuing with a sledge hammer of intel. As he did so the Jonin commander poured two cups full with his world famous brew. "Creme and sugar? Just don't let the boy go berserk, the nine tails, did uh, something. I don't know how to describe it."

Matsuya smiled as he saw the coffee on the table and heard LT's question. "Yes, please." He ran a hand through his hair, still looking at his notes. Konoha wouldn't be a bad place to visit after his investigation in Suna. He could apologize to a few of his old students while he was there, and maybe even expand his web of informants. But Suna would come first, no matter what. Matsuya wanted to see the destruction Zane had caused first hand. He wanted to feel the earth burned by his friend's chakra. "He's our brother, LT. No matter what villages me and him left to. Zane was the guy everyone wanted to know. And that hasn't changed apparently. I want him to know he isn't the only one who can help him." Matsuya's eyes were locked on a page in his notes, shifting quickly back and forth as he read. It was his notes about Koi. His old flame from Suna. He'd have to see what'd become of her while he was there.
"What's inside of Sev is my responsibility. I can't avoid that forever. I put that damned Kyuubi there and I'll keep it there. He's better because of it." Matsuya knew that wasn't true, not completly anyway. Sev was one of his best students. But the Kyuubi had tried to lash out before. "It seems the boy has learned a lot in my absence. Lt, has did he pass the chuunin exams? I left to early to see." Matsuya regretted that. He'd abandoned all his pupils for some selfish quest of honor. He'd have to find them all and make up for lost time. If they would still have him, that is.

LT added sugar and creme to both cups of coffee as he listened to Matsuya talk about Zane. It was as if Matsuya was chasing after and following his older brother where ever he went. And LT cursed it, was Zane just making friends with anyone, then just use them to get his way. Keep em close to manipulate them? Tares couldn't imagine that the young boy he was put in a squad with, the young brash boy who would charge into any fight with out a second thought would turn out to be a manipulator. A master manipulator at that. LT walked over and handed the cup to Mat with a furrowed brow, a boy that grew into a man. A very fine man that is upright and moral. Probably even more so than LT is, so who is Tares to judge if Zane was a problem or not. Either way, Intel need to be gained and Matsuya was the perfect man for it. As LT made his way back to his seat he sighed as he eased himself into the chair. "I supposed that tailing Zane is the Path laid out before us, and what you do and gather is the next step. If there is anything I can do to help with that, let me know. But as for Sev, the boy seems to be handling it very well. That. . . Kyuubi, if he ever learns how to control it, is very powerful, and if he can control it effectively, he could become even more powerful than you and I. Now I don't like thinking of my friends as assets, tools, or weapons. But he could change the tides of war instantly, if he so chooses. And he has learned a lot, but still I didn't think he was ready for the exams, so I held him back from that. I fear I had made a mistake. Besides of the Infinite One, I just dont know what else I could teach Sev. I dont know his element and even though I have trained three hosts before. I haven't trained any of them past genin. I suppose I could focus on Kai with the 5 tails, as you take on Sev." LT took note of Matsuya seemingly damped moods that he left his people. But LT was stumped, he didnt know what to say to that, he didn't know how to make it better. LT was one of those people that Mat left behind, along with not only leaf, but mist as well. LT wanted to say something to comfort his younger brother, but his was temporarily dumbfounded.

Matsuya smiled as he took the coffee LT handed him. As he took his first sip, this smile widened. There was something he'd missed even before he'd left: LT's world famous coffee. "I have no doubts about Sev's capability. He fought by my side to defeat the beast that ended up inside of him. He progressed through my academy training in next to no time." Matsuya smirked as he remembered the old days of him teaching and doing paperwork. Those days were over. He wouldn't be teaching just anyone anymore. Only the people he himself deemed worthy to learn. And, in his mind, that wasn't very many people. "I'll take him with me. I can't promise I'll be easy on him, mind you. But then, that's never been the Kirigakure way has it? The teachers of our village have always been vicious." Matsuya remembered the days of old when only one academy student from each class had been selected to be a shinobi. They would pit the young shinobi against eachother and whoever lived would move on. And so came the name "Bloody Mist". But those times were long before Matsuya's birth.
"Oh, LT, I have a favor to ask. I don't like to admit this openly, but I have no one else to go to." Matsuya swallowed another sip of coffee and sighed. "I need to learn how to fight with a sword and my hands again. I can manage on skill and muscle, but I lack style. I gave up the 8-Gates style of Konoha out of respect when I left. I didn't want to use their secrets against them." Matsuya chuckled at the irony of what he just said. A spy not wanting to use secrets against people. "So, can you help? Matsuya looked up from his book and smirked at LT.

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner Walking through the front doors, Luo's footsteps were not as light and well placed as they usually were. Instead rather, it seemed as if he were stomping. Holding out his right hand as he continued past the secretary, she delivered to him his papers and all notes given to him while he was away. Luo had disappeared mysteriously during the shinobi evaluations and no one had known why. The truth was however, that Luo had been reverse summoned by the sharks. They called Luo in order to help them with a a situation on there hands, but more-so had called him out of hearsay. They had caught wind of what Zane Hajime had done to Suna, and he being Luo's brother in more ways than just arms, the sharks feared some sort of mental breakdown or even betrayal on Luo's part. They wanted to guarantee their own safety, especially considering the fact that the Hoshigaki clan of the mist had betrayed them in the past.
Luo was busy enough as it were, but now even the king of the sharks seemed suspicious until at last calling Luo. Looking through the files, Luo found a note from Yamatano and stopped to read it in front of his door, catching a glimpse of conversation from Tares and Matsuya. Putting the note away at last, Luo opened the door and went straight for his desk. Placing the stack of papers he had onto it, he turned to face the two, as if to finish the conversation they were having about Zane Hajime, part of the reason Luo's temper could be seen for once.
"Zane Hajime's actions speak of nothing but stupidity. His inability to be fully willing to place himself under any sort of responsibility caused him to commit this crime against Suna in an act of defiance; as if to turn his back on those he assumed capable and strong at one point. He was testing them, and they failed. In doing so, not only has Zane's assumption that Suna would be fine without him been proven wrong, but he in fact further weakened an already weakened village. Zane's current popularity is based as of now on nothing more than this crime, not his people skills. At his skill level, blowing up half of Suna was child's play and he knew it. In the end Suna did not stand a chance. If I walked out of this office towards Konohagakure and flooded the village, it wouldn't be difficult, however it would be immoral and illegal. And as much as I'd like to utterly devastate the man from here to Konoha in combat, there are laws. Hajime unfortunately still has assylum in Kirigakure, meaning of course we cannot arrest him. However, we can detain him and allow Suna to do the rest."
Luo heaved a heavy sigh, one that spoke of just how infuriated he was. In truth, if Zane showed up at the Ushio compound, Luo would lead him to his former room without hesitation. However, that didn't mean Luo would allow him to go unpunished for his crimes.
"In short, Zane Hajime has been placed in every bingo book from here to Iwa. And if encountered anywhere other than Kiri soil, he is an enemy, and a threat. If we do not follow through with this, alliances we have can and will be broken.....He's created more problems than solutions." Turning to face the window and look down below at the village he muttered almost to himself, "Typical."

Matsuya tilted his head back as Luo entered the office. He knew his friend turned Mizukage wouldn't mind much if he lazed around for a bit. In fact, the only reason he was this lazy was because of the wounds Luo himself had caused. Even his typical Nara lethargy was less than this. Matsuya listened intently as Luo spoke, taking in the snipets of information he gave. Matsuya stood as Luo spoke hypothetically of flooding Konohagakure. Even if he was joking, Luo had pressed an invisible button on Matsuya.
Matsuya stood slouched in front of one of the offices windows. His hands dug into his pockets. It took all he had to control his temper. His temper wasn't something he was proud of. Luo and LT had seen the worst of it, before Matsuya left for Konoha. "The same wouldn't have been said if I was still in charge. But, unfortunately, that isn't the case." Matsuya sighed. He'd let the statement go. He knew it was only an example, and nothing personal. But he had family in Konoha. Every Nara did. But he knew, deep inside that the people of Kirigakure were his family too. Blood was deeper than water, but his allegiance to his friends was stronger than blood.
"But you're serious, aren't you? We're expected to bring him in and give him over to strangers? You know that I believe in justice, Luo, but he's our brother. Maybe not by blood, but we've shared more with him than most people would care to. I may still have contacts in Suna who would let me pull a few strings to ease his punishment, but that's not my call. And I say 'may' very loosely, however. I haven't seen our sandy friends in a long, long time." Matsuya thumbed through his notebook, reading entries from days gone by. Notes on people, places, sights, and miniscule details other people would find trivial. While his left hand held his book, the other played with the bead braided into his hair. His mood was improving.

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Matsuya spoke, Luo knew what was coming. He knew that what he had said about handing the man over would not go over smoothly by any means, and it was something even Luo didn't want. His voice resigned on its usual tone and volume as he spoke sincerely about the situation at hand. "Matsuya, you know that if there was any other way I'd gladly choose it. However, if it were our village that suffered the blow that Hajime dealt by any other shinobi, you along with anyone else here would be out for blood. We cannot protect the guilty or make excuses for what he did. You have to realize that this concerns more than just us, but even the people of Kirigakure. If we do not respond to this situation correctly, we may have more problems on our hands."
Taking a moment to think, Luo looked at the two men, first to Tares and then to Matsuya. "Mat-san, take a squad with you to Suna and see what you can decipher about the situation and what level of anger the village is at. Give my regards to the Kazekage whenever you go. Any questions from you two?"

Matsuya's eyes had been fixed on the mist covering the village through the window. Luo's words held truth in them. If someone had even touched Kirigakure, or even Konoha when he was in office, they would be taken down by their combined fist of vengence. "Regardless, I won't let him die unless he did it of his own free will. It's not like him, Luo."
Matsuya turned and bowed to Luo as he was ordered to take a squad to Suna, tucking his notebook into his pocket in the process. "Yes, m'lord. I'll go to the training facility and gather a squad. Think of me and my squad as another set of senses. As soon as I know anything, you'll be the first to hear." With that, Matsuya turned sharply on his heels and walked out of the office. He closed the door behind him and continued his way down the tower. He was still convinced that Zane wouldn't destroy a village for no reason. Let's go see what shinobi Kiri has these days. Matsuya smirked as he nudged the door of the tower open and walked towards the training facility.
