Angilwingz I agree. It's important that we all have opinions. If any one person constantly got their way then it would be very hostile and such.
And now my question....we've agreed to give Phil mod powers? If so, why doesn't he have them yet? I don't want to go do it untill I'm sure everyone is in agreement. No one has a problem with it, so he should get it. The one mod who didn't say anything was Alutian (like I said I don't think she'd oppose this) I'm at school (which means my axcess is limited)

I'm here, and I've been watching the debate go on. I decided to stay out of this one, though Icee is right--by logic, Phil should probably get mod powers.
As has been stated before, he has to keep up an entire subforum. And if, for some reason, he joins the Dark Side and goes completely, utterly, and unpredictably power-mad, we can always take the position away. That's unlikely to happen, I would think, but there's still that 'safety valve'.
Go ahead and make Phil a mod. I really don't see any great or lasting problems with it. As the Guild grows, shouldn't the "government" for it grow also? I think that this growth could be a good thing. An extra hand on deck for emergencies, if you want to think of it that way, and we might need it.

Do we know if it's a Gaia problem or an image problem? I'll to fix 'em this upcoming week... I think I have all the images that were there before... Or I could sorta re-design the front page a little...
Oh, and does everyone have access to the old mini-banners? I think Pinkie set up a contest for them. It might have been one of the last things she did. We decided that we liked them all so much, we would rotate them. Obviously that hasn't been happening... I could upload them and keep them in the mod forum if it would be helpful... Actually... I could up load just handy images that are nice to use all over... if you guys want... It'll take me about a week or two to completely finish it, but I wouldn't mind. It'll make me feel like all the time I used to spend looking for HP images hasn't gone completely to waste...

I wasn't really sure where I could ask this - so I thought I would just go for it here. I'm sorry that it doesn't really go with the conversation. confused But my friend applied to join this guild a week ago, and I was just wondering how long it would be until she could expect to hear back. I know it only took me a day or so to be accepted, and my sister two or three, so I wasn't sure if she should have heard by now or what not. If she was rejected for whatever reason, that's fine, I just wasn't sure if she should resend an application or if it was just a matter of patience. Her username is Lotus81, if that's at all helpful/needed.

Applications are looked at randomly (but always on a Friday). Since we're going through Operation Scourgify, I decided not to go through the applications until the lists were completed. The elf list is already extremely large and I didn't want another reason for it to be larger, so those names will probably sit there another few days (three maximum)

K, I made a new Header for the main page... I hope you guys like it.
I also updated the wellcome slpur on there as best I could.
If anyone sees anything that needs fixing, feel free to speak up...
