The Sandshrew kept his awkward position a few seconds. She was going to run, soon. Any moment. Soon. Aaaany moment now… Or maybe she just knew the trick, of all the things she should have learnt by now. He felt incredibly ashamed for not tricking the dog and for being witnessed in such a ridiculous stance. He eventually stood back on all four. “You’re right, I don’t have any ball for you to play with”, he admitted grumpily. Was she still watching him? One last time, he tried to get her attention. He pointed at the last thing that prevented them from getting their trainers’ stuff back. “Buddy thinks you’ll be a good girl if you help everyone else with that door. Maybe you’ll even find your trainer faster this way.” With an emphasis on “good girl”.

In between bashing down the door with her psychic attacks, Daybreak watched the Growlithe and Sandshrew play ball. In a one sided way. The noise was giving her a bit of a headache, along with her excessive use of her energy. Maybe in Dakota's trainer's backpack was a real ball that she could actually play with.
"We're almost there." She said, mostly to herself. She attacked the door again with another Psychic before hearing something about the journal.
"It's downstairs, with the Pokeballs. What do you want it for?"

Upon the announcement of the lack of toys, Dakota tilted her head curiously, as if she hadn't realized it. However, this Sandshrew was smart and gave her a job. A job that only a good Dakota could do!
Perking up, the puppy Pokemon looked to the door she had already attacked one time. "Door!" she said in an excited fashion before trotting over to the door again. She spotted several Pokemon she knew, and Dream was there! She wanted to give him a happy kiss, but she instead did as she had been told. She wanted to be a good girl, after all.
Once more, the puppy Pokemon took a deep breath, then let out another Flamethrower at the crack in the door. As she stood there, if another Pokemon looked at the black Growlithe, they could see her tail nub wagging the whole time.

Menudo stared at Lucine. A Journal, in the death room? Alright, he had stayed out of touch with the rest of the pokemon a little bit too long while working on doors and finding trainers. "Oh? Well, I never heard of Rocket experiments running any further then pokemon trials, its unlike they would use humans if that's what you are getting at. Anyways...once we get throught the electric door...." He pointed to the door down the hall. "We should be just a few door downs from the trainers."

What a relief. My my, Buddy, you haven’t completely lost your wits, you could even be a good trainer if you were human. Talking about trainers… no sign of them, and still the Menudo pretended they were alive. He didn’t feel the same fear or worry as everyone else; after all, he was a rental, and hasn’t even seen his current human yet. He was quite used to being transferred from one trainer to another. Nonetheless, he started to perceive the importance of rescuing them. Not all of them would stand the… departure of their human. He almost felt concerned enough to help with the door. Almost. Instead, he approached the Eevee. “Psst… perhaps you should let her do her thing. Otherwise she’ll get bored and annoy someone else. Again. I mean it.”

“Most of it seemed like that. From what I could understand, they were mostly performing experiments on pokémon again. To try and create another super-pokemon.” Mewtwos ought to know all about that, of course. “But there’s a lot of parts in it that I don’t understand. My knowledge of the human language only goes so far.” A lot had changed over the years that Lucine had been trapped in that crystal… Mr. Menudo, she decided, would be more capable of deciphering the journal.
“There is one part that I understand very, very clearly. On the date that Camp Xine was going to start, there was a very specific entry about a batch of new subjects. I think it was referring to the humans and not us. They’re the ones being kept forcefully asleep, you said.” Or maybe he had thought it. “I would like you to take a look at it and see what you make of it. Could you do that, Mr. Menudo?”

Feuille was just spacing out way too much. The trainers things had been found? And more importantly... the trainers had been found?! She was almost excited, but she began to wonder... would Sunnie even care that she had been missing for quite some time? She was her newest Pokemon, after all... she herself barely knew the girl... was she really all too excited to have her be set free? I guess I can just be an independent pokemon... live outside my pokeball and all... she thought, trying to rationalize her thought processes. Did she... truly care for her trainer?
"Has anybody made contact with our trainers yet?!" she called out to the other pokemon.

Nobody had attacked the door and changed its temperature much since the last time she had attempted to open the door, so this second time when she attempted to make her crack bigger than just a crack, she failed. However, the spot on the door did get much warmer.
Dakota stopped and padded up again and sniffed at the small crack. It had not done what it was supposed to, the naughty door! Backing up, the puppy Pokemon let out a slight playful growl. When she stopped, her body seemed to light up on fire. Hopefully nobody was too close to her. She beat one of her paws against the ground and prepared to charge at the door with a Flare Blitz.
Without warning, she then began to run towards the door with intent of smashing through it to get her trainer. Oh yes, she would be a good girl. Nevermind the fact she would probably be hurting afterwards.

Menudo seemed deep in thought for a moment before teleporting away, he came back with the book. "Why can't rockets just work with what the world gave them...." He 'spoke' outloud as he skimmed the pages. "I can read human, but whoever wrote this needs calligraphy lessons....the man must have three fingers." He sat down for a moment. "Ah....here...it theorizes about the possibility of a super human being created....but..." He close the book. "They can't use the trainers, for DNA combinations to be made correctly, subjects have to be made in such ways from the time of conception. Besides, who says humans can have this done, eve if done correctly, they would be creating something that can't be control like a pokemon trapped with a pokeball."
"No, I think our humans are still alive because murder is higher offence then being a thief and kidnapper."

“She’s focusing on the door, not on the stuff”, replied Sandshrew with however a shadow of doubt. “You’re targeting the door, right? Don’t aim at anything else”, he ordered, before turning back to Pastel: “Calm down, dude. I’ve got everything under control. If something happens, I’ll just throw a Sand Attack at it and no more fire.” Great, another wimp he had to reassure with white lies. "And dun call me a scaly cod, you fuzzy... you."

Liz stretched a moment. While she had been resting, a crack had appeared in the door. Well, then. She tackled it again. It felt oddly good to throw herself against hard metal doors. She wasn't sure if that meant she was crazy, but hey! Thats what all her rental trainers had said! 'you gave me a crazy ratatta! i want my money back!' Whiny humans...

Fortunately, Dakota ran into a different portion of the door (rather than colliding with the rattata that decided to start tackling the door). The impact from her attack was quite devastating for both the door and herself. The black Growlithe managed to melt the metal with her fiery tackle to being a rather thin and easily breakable section. Once the metal cooled down, any ol' Pokemon could break through and create a path for a smaller Pokemon to go in.
Dakota, on the other hand, stumbled backwards after the attack and flopped down on her belly. She had really hit her head hard, and that combined with the Pokeball barrage from earlier, made it so the poor puppy Pokemon was really hurting.
"Dakota is a good girl?" she whimpered out, making sure she was still considered good, despite not completing the job.((OOC: Someone go attack that spot of the door EITHER when it cools off... or use a water-type attack to cool it off or just flat out break through ;O ))

“That would suggest that they plan to be caught, which is just ludicrous. No law-breaker ever thinks about, ‘well, what if I get caught?’. Besides, they could have just left the humans somewhere else. They took them here for a reason, and I don’t think it was just so we could have a merry happy fun adventure-time.” So. They were trying to make a super-human thing? Hmm… Lucine’s tail thoughtfully swished around her. “Thank you, Mr. Menudo. You have given me a lot to think about.”
With that, she smartly trotted off to find something to eat. She needed to think about this. Very, very carefully. No matter what Mr. Menudo said, there was some reason why the humans had been taken instead of just left somewhere. Taking them was a huge… well… risk. Taking pokémon was easy, since they couldn’t accuse their kidnappers of anything. But people? When they spoke, others listened.
