Sin looked thoughtful for a moment then smiled.

"my life has been a good one I'm not worried, besides I'm not going to miss out on life just becouse of death..."

Sin closed his eyes again and sighed.

"of course I rarely ever know what I'm getting into... makes life fun, don't you think?"

((Alright, so cutting to the chase; I just finished another chapter in Ashen Blade ~Origin~ the first installment of the complete Ashen Blade trilogy, and I want to bring in another character to the tale. Of course I can just use another of the NPC's in my arsenal or...I may use Khastur. ninja So Gourou...would it be alright with you if I used Khastur in the first installment of the Ashen Blade trilogy? )

((Yes. It would be allright. eek I'd love to see your interpretation of him. xd ))

Marley nodded, "You can tell me your name, maybe it'd be for the best after all..." Marley had made a lot of weapons in his days, so many that in his prime he forgot what weapons went to who or how many-- his monstrosities were scattered all over the lands, paraded as weapons of power they only brought destruction and devastation in their wake, and could ultimately leave it's user dead or insane. Many times he had been roused in the night by shambling ghould who have come to haunt him for his curse-- and Marley killed them all without distinction, burying them everywhere; even in his cellar and under the floorboards. Marley had so many skeletons in his closet that they simply didn't fit anymore...

(((Indeed lol. xd Though I think I will do well enough, I will do my best to stay true to his character.)))

"Perhaps..." said Sylph almost sweetly in response, though this was deeply contrasted by her following sarcastic statement.
"Though it makes you a fool as well. Do you walk into a battle and choose a side simply on whim? There is normally a reason for everything Sin, and I think that you fall within the category of everything."
Her expression then changed back to it's normal demeanor. "Often times it is better to know how you got into something, for you will need such knowledge if you ever hope to get out."

"I could be a fool... but the line between a fool and a genius is often exceptially small... at least thats what the elder tells me..."

Sin smiled with his eyes still closed

"but why bother trying to be something your not? if I'm a fool then I'm a fool. I'm happy with a few meger possestions and my own free will and thats enough for me. Why bother trying to find a reason for something when a whim is so much more fun"

"But what if your idle decisions endanger the lives of innocents? Would you be so careless in your actions as to do such a thing?" Sylph's voice faltered at her following words, for they brought back the memory of how she had fled Faltora when she was needed most.
"Our decisions are what craft the world into what it is now, no matter how small, a choice is still a choice, and can easily change the course of fate."

"If my actions ever endangerd the life of inniocents then I will do my damnest to protect them... Besides you said it yourself, a choice is a choice, I certainly am not going to worry about what could be or should have been. If you spend your life all wrapped up in every decision you make, you really aren't liveing."

Sin yawned and stood up looking at Sylph.

"care to show me around this place? I mean what is the Forge anyways?"

"My birth name is... Azurin." He said his name with a silent shame, as if the name itself were cursed. Skeletons abound in not only Marley's closet it seems. Archer looked down, and back up to him. "I have forgotten my family name, it seems to fog over when I try to remember it."

Kuchane walked to the edge of his master's domain. Sand and forest floor met at an odd, sudden line, drawn with what might have been the gods's green marker. He pulled a length of chain from the hands of a servant who had come to him. He pulled a section of chain, placing an edge of it in the sand, and placing it down in a kind of erimeter gaurd. He covered it with sand, and in a few hours, he had covered only a tiny perimeter of the castle's total perimeter. He smiled though, and stood up. "Now, I can finally use my powers for something other than Necromancy!" He uttered a few gutteral syllables, and the chains rattled, moving beneath the sand. It now circled the palace, on a kind of ritualized cycle of control. Kuchane uttered one last phrase, and it became like a sand-dragon or wyrm, alive of it's own will, gaurding the castle. It was only made of chain, and easily beaten, but it would indeed hamper anyone fool enough to approach.

the floating spheres of eyes hovered over them. Their eyes turned a dull gray as if in a nuetral mode, but one eye on each ball of flesh was red. Each red eye stared in every direction.

Kuchane looked at the eyes oddly. "You things are weird, I have never done anything like this in my demon-dom." He sighed, and yelled for a slave to bring him water. He wiped sweat from his brow, and looked at the ground. The sand moved slightly with the chain monstrosity moving beneath it. A job well done.

One of the eye demons moved toward him, as if relaying a message to keep moving forward. The eyes moved anxiously looking in every direction, wanting to consume any information they can find.

His eyebrow twitched. It happened everytime he discovered something. He sighed. "Zeo, you must survey a demon, using another demon's eye?" He misinterpreted it slightly, but he thought he understood.

All the eyes stared directly at Kuchane, their color changing white. As they stared, they released that pure evil feeling as they did earlier, only what is was was their very energy being used to disguise their own. The ground around them started showing signs of radiation, but it was simply the amount of energy being used to keep them from being noticed. The eyes were only testing this ability right now, when the time was right, they would act automatically to keep Kuchane from being too reckless.

Grevious stepped out of Reinsen Nevar's tent looking about at the army camp. It had been several hours since he had left with his group of horsement, heading out to invistagate a odd flash of light in the hills, and he was starting to become agitated. He didn't care much for the would-be conquer but it most certianly wouldn't reflect well on him if Reinsen died while he was supposedly supposed to guard him.

Walking though the camp he scoffed at the sheer number of weapons this army had. He never understood why people would prefer a large sharp peice of metal over there fists anyday. Walking along he finally made it to one of the watchtowers overlooking where Reinsen saw the flash of light. With a few jumps he swung himself up to the top, startleing the guard on duity, and started to watch the forest edge for any signs of movement.

Sylph frowned at his question..."That question does not deserve a response when the answer is so obvious...but perhaps I will humor you." she uttered flatly her voice dripping with sarcasm due to the fact that the place was visibly...a forge for weaponry.
"It's a bloody forge, Sin." retorted Sylph dryly. "And if you want the grand tour then you will be doing it alone, like Issildia said. It would be best if we rested while we have the chance."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Reinsen and the warriors that he had taken with him, returned to camp as night fell. Reinsen himself was slightly irritated if anything, about his daughter's escape, but he could have patience in this and end both she and Keirdon at Faltora.
Without a word he sent the warriors that had accompanied him away and entered the large pavilion where he and his advisors would be deciding the fates of those that had survived Larovia's attack on Meradea.
