I look flatly at the painting. "Eliza, you claim that you are protecting me, that, under past experience, you think I am going to be hurt. That, that is..." I wanted to laugh, truly I did. "Is just ludicrous. I am sorry, but from what I have learned, past experience is not always a good thing. Under that kind of logic, I would not want to hurt you, because of my ex fiancé dying in a fiery crash. I just, cannot, believe that." I turn to her, the intent in my eyes soft, but still hard. "I want to recite something to you. 'Those who don't try are on the road of never. Those who quit, are on the road of inadequacy. Those who try and does are on the road of bliss forevermore. Even if one fails, they are pleased to have to have tried.' I just want you to try, forget protecting me, just try.... I would hope that I have enough in me to stay out of harms way. And besides, I won't stop, nope, I may be confused right now, but I am still going to try later on. You know that as much as I do."
I sit down on the hard floor. "If you don't try, then I don't know why you even try at life. Trying is what makes life fun, no?" I go to her, and despite what may happen, I grab her hands in mine. "The time I spent with my head in your lap, that was, well, the best time of my life, and if the world was about to end then, I would have done nothing to stop it. I would have let it end, if it meant being with you. I would in a heart beat. Please, just try, please, just try."

Subconciously both of her hands were back to sitting on her hips, " To me, it most certainly is not." Eliza argued back slightly, but. . she could understand it from his point. Both of her hands were still sat on her hips as she leaned forward somewhat, her amethyst eyes flickering. " And those who try, and have close to the same mistakes, are they still pleased to have tried, Vincent?"
With a sigh, Eliza lowered her gaze- only to bring it back up as he grab hold onto her hands. Blinking, Eliza sighed softly before taking a small step forward and before letting her eyes connent with his. " Vincent.."

"So you don't want to try..." I get up and turn my back. I hang my head low with a sore sigh. "Fine, if you don't want to try, then just say so. I am tired of this. Truly tired. And yes, they are satisfied, for they tried." I just shake my head. She was being so difficult, and despite my efforts, she still did exactly that, be difficult. "Please, just say it..." Why wasn't she saying one thing or another, why so... cryptic? "Just tell me, will you try? I am tired of all this, it comes down to you. I am willing, but are you?"

One last time right? C'mon Eliza, when it comes to battle, you don't falter, but of course - when it comes to matters such as this. He was right. She continued to be difficult. The angel -is- being difficult. With something of a frustrated sigh, she pushed back strands of hair behind her ear. " One more time," The blonde finally said looking up at him, " One more time, I will try this Vincent. If you are willing, then I myself am willing to try, if just a little. But if this doesn't work out. ."

I just stare at the ground. She had spouted those things, and that is what started this, but yet I was punished. Why? I shake my head. "Fine, then we shall try, but you have to much more willing then just a bit, just one more time, because it takes hundreds of times. Just like anything, it takes hundreds of bumps. Now, if you do want to try, then I would hope you could be more, willing, and less reluctant, because I am not here to hurt you, and you know that. But after the little display, I am wondering the same of you. But past behind, let us look to the future, or is that too much?" I look at her. I take my coat off, and then look at my shirt. Too bothered to do anything, I just look back up at her. "Just forget the past, and let us go back to what we were doing before this thing." I had learned one thing though, she absolutely did not believe in love, because she was obviously just a little bit too overcautious.

She wasn't overly-cautious, just. . .Eliza knew what love can lead too. It is a great emotion, but just as there pros to love, there is also cons. From either both sides of the party, or one. " You're right. let's get the heck out of this cave." It already caused to many problems to begin with. As she started to head for the portal, the halfling stopped for a moment before turning back to look at him, " Vincent. I'll forget, okay? I won't punish you, neither is it fair, for me to punish you of events that you have no knowlodge over, or took part in. So, I am going to try, and won't be as relunctant."

I smile as I grab my coat. "Thank you!" I step through the portal before her, and then on the other side I continue without her. Out of the cave, I wait for her. Oh my God it felt better out here then in there. "Eliza! I would hope you could be a little more forthcoming too, I feel like I am doing all the work in this relationship, even if it is somewhat twisted in nature..."

This cave was not good for one's mental health. Quickly stepping out of the portal, now everything seem dimmer. Shaking her head, Eliza wasted no time at leaving the cave. " Somewhat twisted in nature," The halfling mused as she stood infront of him, " I say that sounds about right, Semi anyway." She started to take a few steps infront of him, before looking back slightly, " I think, I should choose the date next time. No offense Vincent, but something a little more casual." Smiling slightly, she shook her head and started to head back forward.

I laugh. "Yes, it seemed that that didn't go as planned. In fact, I really wouldn't mind salvaging, the city of Veile Rennen is just over there, and there must be dance clubs, restaurants, and almost everything else. That is, if you don't mind..." I silently look at her. "Not too mention, it would be a nice change from the disaster over in there." I pointed to the cave.

" What about your army?" She questioned, giving him a sideways glance. Something of normality to at least be able to make this first date worth something more then just memories in the cave. Even as she said this, Eliza was scopping the city. From resturants, to flashy neon signs, to even shops. " Let's say, three to two more hours - -then- we can start to worry about the camp."

"Drako!If I didn't know better,you still act like you did when I first met you so long ago!" Scarlet couldn't help but to lightly laughed but receaved a light punch in the arm for for it from Drako.But as the two of them began to bicker,Scotts was casualy leaning up against the door jam and coughed lighty to announce his presence.
"I would think that you guys would get married by now you know!"
Scarlet shot him a dark glance and flames shot up from the floor and started licking at Scotts feet.He yelped in surprisement and batted them down quickly.

I look at her. "They can wait, its just you and me now, in the biggest mixed city of Earth!' I laugh. I also hide away as I change into more date approved wear. "Yes, there we go. I like this a tad bit better." I laugh as I come out to her. "So, where to?" I ask casually. "Or is it too much too ask you after the little ordeal we had?"

Eliza lifted a brow as she looked him over, " Now that is hardly fair, now is it? You get to change, so. . Of course I want too as well." Or rather more over to get clean up some. Looking down at what she was wearing, Eliza simply huffed before looking back at Vincent. " You pick the place, and I meet you there? It won't be that long, honestly."

I scowled at Scotts just as feircly as Scarlet...and shot him a mental high five, he surpressed a grin and walked off. I turned back to Scarlet, "I think you're just like you where when I first met you too! Filled with pride and courage and the knowledge to do the right thing... You're such a better person than me Scarlet, and your prettier to boot." I laughed and put my arm around her waist to draw her closer, I gazed into her eyes with a smile, "I still think your eyes are beautiful..." With a mischiveous grin I went on," Infact I wonder what you would look like wi-" Suddenly I felt someone tap on my shoulder, I turned around and found Vanessa, oh crap. She had a honey-sweet smile on and perhaps the most innocent look I had ever seen...oh gods no. "Drako?..." She slapped the fire out of me and her faced turned feirce, but her eyes where tearing up, I had completely forgotten her since I had died! "Drako where have you been! You!...yo-.....you died! I thought I would never see you again!" I.was.a.horrible.person. I hung my head in shame. "I'm so sorry Vanessa....I should have visited you earlier...can you forgive me?" She sniffed and half-turned away, "Maybe..." was the only answer I received, why did I always choose the difficult women? "Because they are the best." I had to agree with that voice in my head.

Scarlet just glared Vanessa down and saw her take a step back from Scarlet in slight shock at her eyes.
"Touch my Drako again and you will not like me Vanessa!Even if he has promised to teach you,I will not let you treat him like your husband by hanging all over him and the like."
Scarlet answered with venom lacing every word that she spoken.
