Elrothiel accepted the help reluctantly, holding her shoulder as she walked towards the gate. "You, yes. Amaroq will be harder." She struck the gate with the flat of one hand and waited for the gatekeeper to acknowledge her. He opened the gate and stepped out, talking to Elrothiel in low tones as they discussed. At length she nodded, then walked back to Hrorik. "Luckily he remembers me from a previous visit." She says softly. "We're in, just about. But they aren't happy about Amaroq. They'll only let him in if he stays in the stabling area. They don't want him loose in the city."

"Alrighty then, where we headed? I just ran." She laughed once, though it didn't carry well. Her stallion trotted over to her and whinnied a hello. Nonnah scratched the white patch on his muzzle. She looked back to Ranu for an answer.

Hrorik shook his head as he walked over to Amaroq and began whispering in his ear the language of the wolves. He then walked over to the guard and said,"Amaorq'll cooperate with your demands, but on one condition. That he doesn't get a stall since he is not a creature of burden. He will instead willingly stay in the back of the stable." Hrorik was just about to walk into the great city when he turned back and yelled to the guard,"Oh and don't stare at him. He hates that."

Elrothiel winced at the noise. "Can we save that until later? I'd rather we didn't become unpopular on the way in, that is if we want to come out again." She gave Garren another smile as he let her in the gate, closing it behind them before adding as she passed through:
"By the way, we knew you were coming. Your horse got here a while ago."
Elrothiel paused. "How did you know it was mine?"
"Your baggage's still attached." He said with a smile. "I recognised a few things."
"My stuff better all still be there." She said, with a mock-scowl.
Garren nodded. "It is." He shot Hrorik another look and turned back to his post, trusting them to make their own way there.
"There'll be people watching, friend or no friend." Elrothiel muttered, "And they're all armed. So watch your step."

Ranu gave the Dead Marsh' a last wistful look. His own family, so long ago, had lost everything there. He looked to the south west, wondering if Sailas was still with Sol. He assumed so. "Minas Tirith. I hear they miss us both. Can't let down fans, can we?" He tiled back his hood to stare down towards the city. He could just make out a tiny dot. That was it.
Running a hand through his hair, he sighed softly then smiled. "Race ya." He called to Nonnah, breaking into a sprint.

Hrorik raised an eyebrow in response and said,"If you have a problem with me stating my friend's needs then say so and we can then talk it through like civilized men."

She stood blankly for a second, then, realizing what happened, she sprinted to catch up. "No....Fair!" She yelled, for he was still several paces away. Nonnah pushed her self to catch up to Ranu, but was still a pace behind. Then she caught up, her elven speed overcoming the human half.

He grinned, looking at the female. He pushed past her again, grabbing at her arm so their speeds would match.

She laughed. She would miss this someday, but she tried not to think about then. Just now. Now is a good time. She struggled to lossen his grip on her are. "Cheater! You said it was a race!"

Ranu shrugged and let go, loosing the speed boost. He tripped and fell with a cry, landing heavily. "Damn. I lost for sure."

Elrothiel smiled wryly. "But I am neither human nor male so how can I be expected to discuss like a rational man?" She sighed, shaking her head. "Hrorik, I have no problem with what you choose to do. I am going to find a healer and have no say with what you do next. However, as you brought me here, I feel I owe you enough to try and offer you some advice. These people are paranoid and do not like strangers. Especially in these dark days. I suggest you kick up as little dust as possible and do not attract the attention of Denethor if you want to live. As I said, I feel I owe it to you to give the advice. That does not mean you have to take it."

Hrorik nodded even though he spoke to the guard. He, while listening to El, thought about how these people were many and yet.....it seemed they had a frailness about them. Hrorik just couldn't quite place it.

She sighed. "Let's get out of here then." She started to walk, knowing it would still be quite a while before they got to the inner part of the city.

Hrorik then continued to followed El deeper into the Minas Tirith. Meanwhile, Amaroq had allowed himself to be treated lower than he deserved, but he understood why. He himself would be scared of himself if he were one of the Gondorians.
