Yukiko hessitated a little with Taiyou's words, but she bowed to maiko.
"I wanted to ask where i can stay Yokome-san." being true to herself was something she couldn't do now. Especially before settling down and getting over everything happened to her. She wondered what will become of her, will she ever be a geisha? Was it a good fate likeher mother said? No, she didn't have a mother anymore, now she was alone. Her piercing eyes looked at third girl. She gave a warm smile, that was what every scared girl want to see in here. At least she thought it was...

'Well,' Yokome said, 'A maiko is an apprentice geisha. I am not quite a geisha yet but am in the process of becoming one. When you first enter the okiya, you must be a maid and serve others here. You may apply to become a maiko after some time.' Yokome said to Taiyou.

((im not sure how much i will be around, got in some trouble and now i have to work in the house and the yard to pay off my debt, perhaps i should pretend im a maid in an okiya? Yes a 17 year old maid, goodness....))
"That sounds lovely Iyasu-san, and a good idea too." She smiled and nodded, then plucking a rice cracker from the small plate being offered by Kaori-chan. "Popo-chan, once you find your rythem, everything will smooth out, i promise, of course you must find your niche, with your music and singing, be diligent, courtueous even if others arent toward you, it makes you the bigger woman and shows a true genteel disposition that a future geisha should culivate."
Kyoku stood with a smooth upward motion "Im thinking i should start to get ready for the evening now, ah sometimes i forget this is a job!"

Popo smiled. Kyoku was a gentle spirit and appeared to be very loving. Popo knew why Iyasu loved her so much. Popo wanted to say to herself, 'Iyasu...now I understand your high esteem.. Kyoku is a wonderful person..' but instead she spoke it allowed. As soon as she realized, she put her hands over her mouth. "Pardon me.. I did not mean to say that aloud." Popo blushed..

Shizuka politely bowed to both Luna and Reiko.
"Ohaiyo gozaimasu!" She said politely as she bowed. She smiled brightly from ear to ear, admiring their painting skills. But afterwards, she didn't exactly know what to do. did they want her to leave now so that they could paint...or...would they let her practice with them!? That would be wonderful. She felt her heart would burst if only they said "yes". So, quietly, she said, "Eeto...sumimasen....may I paint with you, please?" She asked politely. She felt very nervous.

Kaori watched Kyoku stand and prepaire to depart. She scuttled over to the door to open it for her. She hoped one day she could be as beautiful as the geisha. She hoped more that she would be soon a maiko like Popo. when she thought on it Popo wasnet really a bad girl more worried like herself about makeing others happy. she hoped they could be freinds but knew the barrier between them was due to the class diffrence. Kaori bowed her head and waited to be told what to do. If that time did not come she would gather the tea things and go repleanish the tea then maybe if she could watch Kyoku prepaire for the night so she could see how a woman became a geisha in looks.

Alluya lowered her head, gazing at the wet floor. She had not want to be like her mother, a woman who was a failed maiko. She didn't even want to be a geisha. She had found them quite interesting to look at. The way they glided across the streets, their faces plastered in an innocent smile that made men turn their heels and pretty much follow them halfway down the street. Yet she still did not want that attention. She did not want to follow in her mother's foot-steps and be a failure. No...she couldn't be a failure, though she found being a geisha undesirable to her taste she did not want to fail her mother who would have to deal with two generations, including herself of failed geishas. She would rather die than to have that happen.
'I'll have to deal. My okaasan[mother] has to be honored at least once in her life and I'll have to make sure that happens.' She thought to herself rising from scrubbing the floor.

Starting the daily habit, Akako started to fix futons in the okiya, arranged the zoris and scrubbed here and there. She wondered if she was going to be a maid forever, but what that geisha told her the other day popped into her head. "Stay out of trouble," said Akako to herself, "I'll try my best to become a successful geisha."

Yukiko looked around nervously, trying to forget that she was ignored, she bowed to Yokome as polite and calm as possible.
"Please excuse us." she said silently and gave a quick glance to Taiyou with a silent whisper. "Let's go Tai-chan."
Crumbling inside her had started again, trying to tear apart her whole being. Her mind was screaming at her while her eyes started burning, 'You don't belong here!'"

She smiled to Tanpopo and nodded her head, "You are very right, Tanpopo. Kyoku-san is very a wonderful person. She inspires every day to teach you and Yokome the ways of a geisha. Come, I'll teach how to put on your make-up as a maiko." Iyasu stood up slowly and waited quietly for Tanpopo to follow her out to her room.

Popo soon after rose. She was still blushing as she followed Iyasu. She was embarrassed, but happy at the same time. Popo felt lucky to have Iyasu in her life, and now Kyoku. Popo wondered if everyone was so sweet...she hoped they were..

Kyoku lingered near the door Kaori had opened as she watched her younger sister rise with her own sister. "Thank you very much for the compliment Popo-chan, have fun putting on your makeup!" She stepped outside into the hall. "Kaori-chan, the tea can be put away now, once you finished that please come upstairs, i will need you to fetch my kimono for me." she nodded to the girl and then turned, dissapearing around the corner and up the stairs to her bedroom.

Taiyou's widened as she nodded slowly. She bowed to Yokome, out of habit, and stepped to the side as she walked down the side of the okiya with Yukiko.
"Yukiko?" Her grey eyes glanced over this girl, "What's wrong?" Her brothers would act like this if something was wrong. They would become nervous and worried as if they were going to die in two hours. She did not want to think of her older siblings for a good long time.
"You can tell me what is wrong, that's what friends are for."
