Aurora throttled back the power and fell into formation with her wing leader.
“Nothing I can’t handle, and yes. I would like a cookie; with some milk would be very nice right about now.” She replied. “You think their up to something don’t you?” She asked as she glanced out her canopy at the cruisers.

Clad in her armor, Cene sat in the cockpit of her maneuverable courier ship, floating at the race's starting point.
As the Sith had said, there had been an assassin who had made the mistake of stealing into her ship looking for prey.
He had been...dealt with.
Now she was waiting for the start of the competition, pluging her Helmet's HUD into the displays of her ship's computer. This way she would increase her reaction time, not needing to look over at the display to read it.
Gloved hands at the control yoke, she waited with a hunter's patience.

Aboard the Vendetta, Pash was settling into the cockpit, pulling on a pair of flight gloves as he scanned the crowd of competitors.
"At least theres fewer of them now than before...." he muttered to himself, somewhat impressed by the huge variety of design being represented.

"Have you looked at these things they installed on the ship?" Ardee asked as she came up behind him. "They claim they're racer markers but they're using some really strange-" She looked over the pilot chair to see Pash sitting there. Her eyes glowed fiercely.
"What the slag do you think you're doing?"

"Piloting." Pash said, looking at her. "Why?"

"No. Thats not going to happen."

"Why not?"

"To quote a predicessor unit of mine: "Statement: Your meatbag reaction speed and coordination are inferior to my machine perfection"."

"Rebuttal: This coming from the noid pretending to be an organic." Pash said in an amused fasion. "Now relax. I'm a Corellian Jedi. This sort of thing comes naturally to me."

"You didn't pay for the ship." Ardee said. "Now out of the chair."

"Would you rather want to fly or shoot?" Pash asked. "As a Jedi, I really have trouble taking life. I'd rather avoid it if I could. Since you're an advanced assassin 'noid, I thought you would be much better at shooting than I."

"Thats a pathetic excuse." Ardee retorted. "You're a Jedi assassin. You're just as cold blooded a killer as myself."

"Jedi Shadow. And while my career does involve ending lives, its only a select few who's deaths benefit the greater good. Killing a bunch of thugs really doesnt benifit anyone but ourselves. A jedi's life is sacrifice."

"Fine. Pilot the ship." The Noid said harshly. "But you better pray that if we crash, that you dont survive it. Because if you do, I will kill you myself."

As Stryder sat in his cell, sensing the battle raging far above him, his cell's energy door cut out.
Stryder looked up, frowning at the now open cell door. He sighed and stood up, criking his neck as he prepared to leave.
"Looks like someone is going to have to end this mess before it really gets out of hand..."

The reports kept coming in, about the ships being destroyed. The frigates were taking a beating, but Sonya had prepared a plan for all of this. A lot of the inital wave was taking damage. Now was the time to end this.

"Are we fully ready?" She asked.

"Aye, ma'am," a bridge worker said.

"Then fire the barrage, and order the fighter group to follow those things as best they can. Give ten seconds, then order the sacrifices to evade if they can, and move the rest of the fleet into firing position. Tell that pilot of ours he can engage at will."

As soon as the order went out, every missle tube opened up. A line turned into a flood of long range missles, destined to turn into flak around the station. As the explosions began to open up, fighters being flanked by corvettes exploded onto the scene with a second wave.

"I think we'll find out soon enough," Ritt said. "I'd hate to think they'd just abandon this place after losing so many fighters."

Within several seconds, Ritt found that Murphey's law was true; what can go wrong will. The equiptment started going off the charts with beeps, sirens, and warnings.

Missles... wait... something's wrong. No target locks. So what are they aiming...

"Evade!" Ritt shouted. "Dodge, twist, turn, dive, whatever! Those things are dumb, so watch their blast radius, over!"

Through her canopy, Aurora saw tiny pinpricks of light flash into existence. She turned her head to look, trying to discover what they were. Her eyes widened as Ritt’s voice came over her com mere nano-seconds before her fighters combat computer analyzed the threat and begin to alert its pilot.
Aurora’s Aurek went ‘balls-to-the-wall’ as she shoved the throttles forwards and pulled the stick hard into her gut. The Aurek zoomed climbed up away from the station. Gee forces slamming her back into her seat by the sudden maneuver, taxing her fighter’s inertial dampeners as her craft clawed for distance away from the station.

Koren and his men were having an easy time of passing through the prison. Eerily enough, he actually hadn't seen any of the escaped criminals. It was unsettling for a man who was used to life threatening combat.

Careful here boys. We're getting close and I don't want the s**t hitting the fan.

Almost spoken too soon, as Koren and his men descended the next ramp and turned a corner, a plethora of criminals stood, beating a number of guards to a pulp. Quite literally. Upon hearing the footsteps of other people, the criminals turned from their prey and stared at the soldiers with a mad gleam in their eyes.

Sir... What do we do?

Shh. Wait for it... Wait for it... BLAST EM!

Koren and his men locked and loaded, then began unleashing a salvo of colorful death upon the quickly approaching horde of enemies.

As the blaster fire sprayed across the room, the cons took cover some of them dropping where they stood. They may have been bloodthirsty criminals, but when faced against armored men with blasters they were not stupid.
Suddenly, an invisible wave struck the mercenaries, knocking them off their feet. The convicts, surprised at their luck, were about to pounce on the knocked down mercs when the lot of them suddenly jerked violently where they stood and collapsed.
Tredding forward from a back hall in a prisoner's garb with the easy, purposeful walk of a jedi general came Malcom Stryder. his cool gae apprased the situation before it locked on the mandalorian.
"If this is about your pay," he said, "I was assured that your check was in the mail..."

Around daybreak upon Az'zip's palace, the racers had all gathered amongst the so called 'starting line', as cameras floated around them in the vaccuum of space. A pre-recorded message appeared in all of their ships, as everyone listened intently. Nearly a hundred racers still stood standing, and prepped to go.

The message blurred out, as the hutt's mouth continued it's countdown. coordinates were uploaded to the nodes, and the racers had three planets to find rings on...

The Aurek was, at this time in events, the near equivalent to the x-wing or even the jedi interceptor. It's maneuverability was phenominal, it's engines strong, but that might not help everyone out. Ritt followed Aurora, as he flipped the shields down to the ventral side, letting them take most of the blow.

"Stay tight, Aurora, these blasts won't last long. Be ready for fighters..." He said, as suddenly a Hammerhead moved in the way. It was a perfect shield, although it quickly gained severe damage; the crews would have to abandon ship far easily.

"Fresh bogies entering Malastarian space," Com reported, as Ritt had already guessed that would happen.

"Blast, how many will they send?"

As the countdown ended, Pash gunned the hyperdrive and the Vendetta jolted into space.

"So all we have to do is fly through rings...simple enough." Pash said glancing over to Ardee. The autonomaton was pluging herself into the ship's targeting computers and systems, utilizing a cable she pulled out of the back of her head.

"You forget the other contestants." She replied as her glowing red eyes went blank, her sight elsewhere. "We have to deal with them as well."

"If we find the rings first we wont have to." Pash said. "Let them fight amongst themsevles. Just like last night."

“On it.” Aurora replied, reallocating her shields for maximum deflection of the incoming shockwave from the missiles explosive blasts. The interposing Hammerhead was silhouetted from multiple missile impacts along its hull. Aurora had no time to grieve for the crewers that had just lost their lives as her comm crackled to life with an alert of new bogies entering the combat zone. Just as Ritt had warned her of not seconds earlier.
“You’re asking me?” She giggled, surprising herself as she listened to the calmness of her own voice as she responded to the question.

Cene had been checking her competetors through her ship's datafiles, ckecking to see if any of them she was familiar with. One that stood out to her was a corellian vessel owned by some echani thug. It seemed unusual that Echani would enter the competition. Usually they stayed clear of hutt dealings.

Before she had time to dwell on it sooner she was transmitted the navigation data to her first destination.

The Hunting Hawk's navicomputer recognized the coordinates and posted the destination up on her visor's HUD.

"Toydaria, huh?" She muttered "Think I've been there." Checking her ship's log quickly, she confirmed she had been there before, having chased a crew of smugglers down one of their secret hyperroutes.

Plotting a course from Nar Shaddaa to Toydaria via the smuggler route would cut vital travel time from her journey and jump her ahead of the pack, negating whatever hyperdrive modifications her competetors might possess.

"Excellent." She said as she plotted the shortcut. The Hunting Hawk shuddered as it hit the big L and vanished from sight along with the rest of the Racers.

Koren stood up and held out a hand to his men, signing them to stand down for the moment. He signalled to his eyes and pointed to the fallen criminals and they shuffled, rifles and carbines trained on the fallen enemies to make sure the posed no more threat. Koren walked forward, shouldered his firearm and saluted Stryder.

No sir. We're here to break you out of jail, sir. Not that you specifically couldn't do it yourself, I just figured the men needed some training and I do love getting thrown around by the force, sir. Standing Orders?

Stryder looked around, scratching his beared chin and analyizing the situation.
"Set blasters to stun and stun anything in a prison jumpsuit." He said, walking the direcion the troopers had come from. "Then le us depart. The more cons taken down the quicker this prison can be brought back under control again. You've made quite a mess, Mandalorian. I generally prefer a bit more proffesionalism in my employees. But somehow I feel that this wont be the only time your kind will leave this place in total chaos."
