((Melp: I haven't played that game yet either nor will I until December. D= But Aire tells me you can catch them in the extension Saffari Zone near Lilycove. 3nodding You can catch one as long as you find an accurate way to get one. whee ))
Before venturing deeper into the cave Mitsu held the disk out in front of Karri. "Here." She said and placed the disk onto her head. A white light shone and she took the disk and put it into her pack. "That's Flash. We'll need it for later."

Jenna snapped out of her reverie when a particularly loud rumble of thunder shook the pokecenter. Not a fan of big noisy storms, she released her pokmon from their rests for some company. Belle, Sandy and Inferno all appeared on her bed, dry and cozy. Belle clambered up into Jenna's lap and sat there, playing with the girl's long curly hair while Inferno said hi for the first time to Jenna's pidgey, Sandy. The fire-puppy sniffed the small bird then sneezed as a small feather got lodged in his nose. Sandy hopped away from the dog and fluttered up to sit on the windowsill. Inferno, dissapointed that the first hello didnt' go so well, lay down on the bed and looked at his new mistress.
"Growlithe? Growe..." He asked as he lay his head between his paws. Jenna smiled.
"We could start with some training if you're bored, Inferno. You know, simple things like sit and stay. I really think you could use some work on that one..." she laughed, remembering how she had met him just that afternoon. Inferno perked up and jumped down from the bed, ready to impress her.

Koji emerged from the forest too see Rustboro in the distance. The light at first was blinding for being in the forest's shade for so long. Roxanne is going down.

Venerax paced along the river bank. How am I supposed to get around that! He violently motioned towards the river. I'm not even goign to try to swim it.
Think. Think. Think. Venerax huffed. I mean Pewter is right there. THere's a nice warm dry Poke Cen... The Poke Center. Why didn't I think of that before?
"Hoothoot." He finally said. Hoothoot cocked his head towards him questioningly. "I need you to go to the Poke Center, and get me some help."
Hoothoot cocked his head more, almost upside down.
"YOu know where. . ." RIght. Just caught it. Venerax sighed, and described what a Poke Center looked like. "Do you understand?" Hoothoot uncocked it's head. "Hoot Hoot!"
"Alright, then please hurry."
Hoothoot flew off into the storm.

Seeing as how there wasn't much room in a pokecenter bedroom for training, Jenna took Inferno and her other pokemon out into the main room to do some basic work. Inferno pranced along beside and infront of her, almost causing her to trip several times while she carried Belle. Hrm, I'll have to get him to 'heel' too... she thought to herself ruefully. But not in this weather. she winced as another flash of lightning lit the sky, followed by a crack of thunder.
In the main room, she went though the basics: Sit and Stay. Inferno could sit like a champ, but getting him to Stay when he wanted something was a real challenge. To work on it, Jenna showed him a piece of Pokemon food and placed it across the room from where he sat. Inferno immediately jumped up and moved towards it. Jenna raised her arm in front of her palm out. "Ah! No, Inferno. Sit." Inferno sat, looking confused. The food was right there! Why couldn't he have it? He whined and his bottom left the floor an inch. "Ah! NO! Sit!" Jenna commanded loudly. Inferno sat back down and she praised him profusely. His mouth opened in a doggy smile. He kept sitting. Jenna relaxed a bit and dropped her arm, hoping he would stay sitting. He did. Smiling, she backed up, eyes on the fire puppy, and pointed out the pokemon food again. He kept sitting, but his bottom was wiggling something awful. "Good job, Inferno! Stay!" Waiting a moment or two more to make sure he had Stay in his head, she let him jump up and get the food with the command "get it!" Inferno raced across the floor and glomped down the tiny piece, then turned around looking for more. Jenna praised him and petted him while her other two Pokemon looked on.

The wind buffetted her back and forth, but Hoothoot flew on. Trying to find building her new trainer described to her. The rain soaked her feathers, the lightning blinded her more then once setting her off course towards a tree or cliff, and away from the lights of Pewter. But she still flew on.
After a long while she finally arrived at the city, and circled around the city trying to find building. Then she spotted, and flew towards. The doors were wide open the light streaming out.
THUNK! "HOOT!" SHe cried out as she slid down the glass doors of the Poke Center.

Jenna heard the slamming noise and the hoot and ran towards the front doors, which slid open as she got close. Just outside the door was a drenched HootHoot looking dazed. Seeing her, it began to hoot exitedly and hop up and down, fluttering it's wings. It moved away a few feet, then hopped back and tugged on the hem of her skirt with it's beak, trying to drag her away into the storm.
"Hey! Cut that out! I'm not going out there! YOU should come in HERE, little bird. I think hitting the glass may have damaged your brain..." she said as it continued to tug on her skirt and hoot loudly. Then it dawned on her. Why would a wild pokemon want her to go out into a storm? It probably wasn't wild at all! It's trainer was in trouble somewhere! She dashed into her room and grabbed her coat and walking stick then returned to the front door. Recallling Sandy and Belle, she called Inferno to her side and approached the battered looking HootHoot once more.
"I get it! I understand! Take us to your trainer!" she told the bird and at once it fluttered up into the air. Inferno looked at the storm raging outside and back up at his mistress, whining.
I know I said we weren't going back outside again. I guess I lied." she shrugged apolegetically. "But you're a police dog, so saving people is in your blood, right?" Inferno barked once and puffed out his chest. He WAS a police dog, and it was his duty to serve and protect. He gave the HootHoot a look that Jenna took to mean "lead on!" and followed the two pokemon outside.

Tony chuckled lightly on his side of the line from hearing his Fathers coment. "You know me to well Father. I was calling to ask you if you know any place to catch a Mareep?"
"A Mareep? Well there are some along routes 32, 42, and 43. I heard that there are a few in the extended version of the Saffarie Zone in Hoenn."
Smiling a bit at hearing the information Tony thanked his father and said his good byes and with a sigh he hung up. "Well I guess I should head over to Hoenn, there are some pokemon I want there anyways." Tony thought aloud and looked up at Alucard who just screached from his place on his arm. "Lets get across this bridge and then we will headback to the pokemon center for a nights rest before the train trip eh Alucard?" Alucard just screached again and went over to rest on his shoulder.

Venerax paced back and forth along the shoreline, waiting for Hoothoot to return. Flipping one of his coins as he walked back and forth.
Van filled the dishes with PKMN food. "THere you go guys."
The Growlithe dug right in.
"Cadet Firelight," Van turned a saw Officer Jenny, as she called out.
"Morning, Officer Jenny," Van smiled and bowed.
"Morning Van," She smiled back, and held a small wrapped box. "Happy birthday."
"THanks," He smiled more broadly, and accepted the gift. "I don't know what to say."
"Don't say anything," She replied, and motioned to the gift. "Just open it."

Blundering about in dark outside of Pewter City nearer to Mt. Moon than she would've liked if she had known, Jenna and Inferno tried to keep the flying HootHoot in sight. Falling often and nearly twisting her ankle several times didnt' stop Jenna from moving forward in the darkness towards what she didnt' know. Inferno stayed beside her, helping her up when she tripped and keeping an eye on the HootHoot with his superior night-vision. Soon, they came to the edge of a wide and dark river across which the HootHoot flew, hooting loudly. Jenna shouted as loud as she could.
"HEELOOOO! IS ANYONE OUT HERE!?" Lightning flashed above and in the distance, on the other bank she could see a person pause and turn towards her.

Mitsu wandered deeper into the cave and used Flash several times dimming and brighting the light. She tried her best not to disrupt the wild Pokemon. "Hey Ebony would you like to evolve again?"

"YES!" Venerax cried out, as he stopped spotting the other person on the opposite side. "Is Hoothoot with you? And do you know a way across!"
ANd at that moment Hoothoot tackled Venerax in the head, knocking over as he slipped in the mud. "Hoo Ho ot Hoot Hoot Hoothoot!" The small owl PKMN bounced on his chest.

Luckily for him the next trainer was a young girl with enough sense to wait for him to come to her. Upon reaching a respectible distance to her for a pokemon battle she pulled out a pokeball and smirked at him. "I saw what you did to my friend back there. You must be pritty weak if you had to trick one of us to get by." She released the pokemon out of its pokeball, it turned out to be a pidgey.
Tony just grinned and reached to his belt and pulled out Phoenix's pokeball knowing that any attack Alucard gave wouldn't affect the pidgey and Weed was weak against flying types. With a flick of his wrist Phoenix appeared on the bridge ready for battle. "You wish I was, I just wanted some of my laundry done is all."

A way across the river? Why would I know a way across the river? I'm from Pallet Town! I've never been here before! A way across the river... Jenna dug into her pocket and pulled out her pokenav. She opened it and selected the Map feature, then the Kanto region, then Pewter City. A map of the city appeared on the tiny screen, illuminating her face in a cool white glow. Nope, not it. She clicked the Kanto region again and picked Route instead. A map of the route appeared and she saw the trail leading to Mt. Moon from Pewter City. A small red blip appeared on the screen beside a river on the map. That must be me! she thought excitedly. She scanned the map, looking for the symbol of a bridge or docks. A bridge was shown on the map not too far from her, a little to the south. Jenna jumped and punched the air triumphantly. She turned towards the river once more.
"THERE'S A BRIDGE! THIS WAY!" she shouted, but he didnt' appear to hear her. She waved in the direction of the bridge and took off running, Inferno keeping pace beside her.
