Cherry grinned slightly. "The idea of a love as eternal as unicorn blood is romantic." Cherry said. Then she noticed how close Cam was. She could have hesitated or drawn back and blushed like the schoolgirl she was. But she knew that any day now she could be killed or kidnapped by her father, and regret was something she would never want to do. Because that to her was worst than dyeing. So she let the necklace slide from her hand and laced her fingers full on through Can's. Then she looked at Cam mischievously and leaned in even more dangerously close than he was.

"Yeah, I guess." Cam said, nodding. He watched her let go of the necklace and felt her take his hand. He squeezed it softly, looking into her eyes.
He stayed quiet for a moment. "I think it's going to take more than just a friend to get rid of the darkness you keep talking about." he said softly. There was so little distance to close now, but he wasn't done talking.
"I really do like...talking to you." he said, using her term for it again. He smiled, closing the distance, his lips touching hers.

Cam pulled back slightly as well when she did. His face was slightly red, but he didn't really care. All he was conscious of was her eyes looking into his, her hand behind his head, and his hand holding hers.
He felt happy...truly happy. No, he felt hope. There was hope after all: hope that Hogwarts would come back to normal, that the Death Eaters would be defeated...
And that there was more to the school year than messing with the Death Eaters and learning slanted lessons.
He kept eye contact as he spoke. "Well...how do you feel?" he asked softly.

Cam sat there for a moment, taking in what she said. Then slowly, his lips parted in a smile, and he laughed sincerely.
"I did, actually." he said, putting an arm around her shoulders and hugging her. He knew he'd be able to survive this school year with a bit more of his sanity intact, now that he had someone like Cherry.
He also knew he'd be able to help her if ever she felt bad, or spoke of that darkness from earlier.
"I had asked how you were feeling." he said with the smile still on his face.

"Don't worry," Raven snickered. "Snape practically adored me in Potions class. Top Marks in all assignments." She said almost full of herself. Draco laughed. "Yeah, except for that one time we had to make the Liquid Luck Potion. God that was disastrous. Nearly burnt our table she did." He said laughing. "Yes, well, Slughorn was teaching the class. Was, is...I just don't pay attention to him much." Raven said rolling her eyes. With a yawn she said, "Okay, I'm seriously tired. I'm going to make a trip to the bathroom, and then to bed for me. See you all tomorrow. Draco, meet me out in the hall. I mean to give a proper night's bidding." She said smiling. She closed her mirror gently as she stood up, and put on her Vans. She desperately loved her muggle shoes. Putting on sweat pants she went out to meet Draco.

Neville sat there silently a little nervous about meeting Draco later that morning. "Goodngiht, Raven...Draco." He nearly stuttered. Once Carina had closed her mirror, he spoke again. "I must admit...I'm a little nervous to be meeting Draco come morning. I know he seems to have changed, but that can't erase what he's done to me in the past." Neville looked into Carina's eyes. "You must think me weak. I wouldn't blame you. But..." He stopped. He'd become even more nervous to speak his feelings towards her.

Cam smiled at her, and her laugh. It sounded beautiful. He pulled back a little to look into her eyes.
"Well, how do I feel...I feel great. I feel like there's some hope here now...I feel happy, and I feel that I think your smile looks beautiful." he said truthfully.
"Cherry, this probably goes without saying, but..." he leaned forward a little.
"Would you like to be my girlfriend, or at least try to be?" he asked softly. He was waiting for her to say yes, as he was sure she would, before he would kiss her again.
He was tired, and knew he had to get to bed soon, but...that could wait.

Cam smiled, enjoying the sound of her laugh. He was starting to like this girl more and more as they spent time together.
He waited for her answer, and it came in the form of a second kiss. It was like an electrical shock had quickly gone through him, but it wasn't painful. It felt good. He'd only had one other girlfriend, and that had lasted a week and a half.
He hoped this would last longer.
He smiled at Cherry when she pulled away and nodded. "Thank you." he said softly, putting his arms around her. He noticed his glasses had slipped a little, but he didn't do much about it at the moment.
