Koiyuki Hmm, that could be intresting....what would everyone be reading, right now? Well...we really wouldn't have to read books together because I think for something online such as we are, and having a sort of ADD when it comes to things we couldn't do it. But just like, suggesting different books, and talking about the books you are reading now, and other books you like to read and topics and such. I dunno, I am pulling most of this out of my a**, but I still think it is a good idea. mrgreen

chikushou Guess what, everyone! Invisibility cloaks are physically possible. But WAY less practical than simply hiring a crazy naked guy to run around screaming and distract attention from yourself.

But consequences of invisibility cloaks are high!! gonk
It's kind of like that scientist who invented this fantastic robotic technology that would enable amputatees the ability to have an electric arm or what-not and control it like they used to control their former limb with the use of brain chips. Forgot this poor scientist's name, but he is from good old England. He goes on to propose that within the 2030's, we'll all be hooked up with brain chips and literally communicate with our minds, such as the ESP system.
This is great news, yes...But what about privacy issues? There are some things I certainly wouldn't want some people even having a clue about. And yes, I am entering a field where honesty is a major concern and being able to "read" people's minds per se would greatly enable psychologists and psychiarists to understand psychopathology fully firstly and secondly treat our clients/patients (depending on your discipline) successfully. To explain, it is easy to lie to an existentialist psychologist who preaches the value of authenticity and to lie about doing your homework assignment to your REBT/CT psychologist. Also, this would also aid greatly in the dispensing of medication - afterall, some people just want to feel happy and would lie to get some happy pills.
I shall be googling this...later!

Oni-Angel chikushou Guess what, everyone! Invisibility cloaks are physically possible. But WAY less practical than simply hiring a crazy naked guy to run around screaming and distract attention from yourself. Indeed. Not to mention. the way they are, you wouldn't be able to see out of the invisibility cloak of you were inside it. Besides, they've only succeeded at cloaking things from microwaves at this point.

OMG home internet! *celebrates* And I'm having my other computer looked at, too! Hopefully it won't have to require my drive being wiped. gonk
But either way, it's good to have it at home, and not be $2 an hour.

Home Interet is joy, indeed. $2/hour for Internet is sadness. ;-;
As for the Invisibility Cloak... If they can successfully block the normal spectrum both ways, then leave only the eyes visible... Halloween costume!

I have 5 ADSL accounts and hardly get a chance to fully download any of my torrents. I think my father has a tad bit of an obsession with downloading albums and all sorts of s**t from his warez sites...The plus side is that his dream of a PC Jukebox is going to come true soon sweatdrop
