Tori nodded. "Yes, unfortunately. He is in custody though and is being guarded by ANBU. Anekio, Yuhi and I hurt him pretty badly earlier so I don't think he'll be going anywhere anytime soon." She glanced over at the closet too, curious as to what was in the box. "Why are you so worried about him?"

"He..." Ran started, and then a thought crossed her mind. "It's nothing..." She murmered, tipping her head back a bit to stare wearily at the ceiling. Kimimaru-niisan was with him. Everyone thinks he's bad, and sure, he's been said to do alot of bad things, but... if he took him in and raised him, wouldn't that kindness balance everything out? she thought, her eyes starting to drift closed. Of course, she didn't know everything about the snake- sannin, but she knew that her brother'd been with him.

Tori nodded. "I won't pressure you about it but I want you to know that I am here if you need someone to talk with. I'm sure your sensei will tell you the same thing." She started playing with the claws that hung off her belt. "Ran...how was Mist when you left?"

Ran opened an eye to glance at Tori before closing it again. "The grocers were not as full as they are here, so prices were up for everything. A fire had started up near one of the villages, so there's some burnt areas there. All in all, though, the Mist is doing better then it has in a while..." she mumbled, giving off a slight yawn. "The academy in Kirigakure is full, this year..." Her voice trailed off.

"That's good to hear...I think." She sighed and leaned back in her chair. "Everything is so confusing. The more I remember of my time there, the less I hate Mist. I know things were and are rough for you but...it was home for me."

Mai-lin laughed and nodded. "I won't tell him who told me." She opened the door and let Himi out before walking out herself. SHe made sure Kei and the puppy were out before chasing the other puppies back in and closed the door. "Come on. You can play, no training, with him outside. We have a training yard for the dogs. You can put him on the course and see how he likes it. How about it Himi, you wanna give it a go too?" THe dog barked and led the way.

When they got outside, Kei knelt down and looked into his new puppy's eyes. "I want you to follow her around and try to do what she does, okay?" the puppy gave a bark which he assumed meant 'yes'. "Let's see what they can do!"

Mai-lin laughed. "Looks like someone is almost excited as his pup. Come on we have a place we can watch them." Mai-lin him to a little shed and opened the door. She flipped on a tv and pointed out the two dogs, Himi in the lead the puppy following behind her. They were trying their best to finish the challage course that had jumps, hurdles and 'enemies all over. That had to avoid some and attack others. "It looks like they work good together." Mai-lin said after a while.

"The only time Mist was ever home to me was possibly when I was too young to notice the dark stares, and the greedy intent everyone seemed to have around me..." Ran mumbled. "I don't remember much of mom and dad, but it was probably home for me, then, too... Otherwise, the whole place feels like a cage that i'm chained to." Her voice was becoming quieter, as she seemed to start falling back asleep. "Hey, Tori...?" She asked quietly. "When I can get out of here... can I talk to Orochimaru...? I need to ask him something."

"That's a good thing seems we're a team right?" Kei said as he watched the tv. "He looks like he's going to be fast. He'll make a good hunter and tracker for us." He continued to watch the two dogs, then started laughing when the puppy picked up one of the targets and started running around the coarse with it.
"I don't know." Tori said honestly. "He's going to be kept under strict guard until the Hokage is done with him, then he will be killed. I'll try to talk to the Hokage about it later, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Only the Hokage and a couple others knows where he's being kept. They don't want to risk any accidents happening."

Ran gave a soft noise, meaning she understood. A few minutes later, she seemed to have fallen asleep, still sitting up with her head tilted back, and leaning against the headboard of the bed. One of her hands clutched the blanket over her, as if it had been holding it tightly before she fell asleep.

Tori stayed in the room for a few more minuets before leaving, shutting the door behind her. "She's asleep now." She told the guard then wandered down the hall to her new room. She had planned on sneaking off but didn't want to go far in case Ran or someone else need her. She lay down on the bed and shut her eyes.

Anekio sat there as a memory replayed in her head like a movie, motionless.
Anekio cackled loudly at her little sister, pulling out her katana. "You never learned abouy our family secret, did you, Neechan?" She had the blade pointed at another girl.
The girl looked back at her with charcoal eyes, confused as tears filled them, "What are you talking about? Get that thing away from me, Anekio!" She shouted, wishing this was only a joke.
"You mean Tou-san's never said a word about our bloodline limit to you, Ayaka?" She looked confused, but at the same time amused when her sister shook her small head. "Well, I merely have to kill my best friend and I can have Mangekyou Sharingan." She smirked again, "How lucky you are, Neechan."
Before the girl could make any form of response, she slashed her katana through the other girl's stomach, giving it a large slit. The body gave a thud and that was that. ((o.O; I think I know why all my friends are scared of Anekio now. Tsk, tsk, killing your baby sister like that.))

(( eek and that's why Yuhi is wary of her xd ))
Yuhi left the greenhouse and wandered down the road. A short time later he arrived at the hospital and checked in at the front desk to see where everyone was. After getting their room numbers, he made his way to the closest one, which was Anekios room. When he got there he knocked on the door and waited for an answer. I hope she's not sleeping...

Anekio almost jumped at the knock before turning to look at the door. "Come in." She nodded her head before getting comfortable again and looking back out the window incase it was a doctor or nurse that had some manners.
