Illusia blinked once then nodded, even thought she couldn't see it. "Oh, I see. I'm sorry, I didn't remember that. I thought I had only dreamt you coming in and yelling at me. I'll be done in a minute," he said before quickly, more for Aiketh's flushed self, disappearing into the bathroom again to change.

((Alright, I apologize in advance for Godmoding, but I'm not waiting for Neko any longer, and Jett and crew are getting moldy from sitting in this cave for so long.))
*Suddenly, a magic, crossdressing, wing-eared, grey-haired guy waves his magic wand and POING*
The group trudged through the wilderness, moving slowly for Celia's sake. Jett was in the lead, a compass in one hand, the marked map in the other. It was turning warm, as the sun rose over their heads and the thick growth pressed in on them.

((XDDD to the both of you. <33))
"I--" Aiketh bit her tounge sharply, barely noticing the flicker of pain. "Right. That sounds fine. Fine." She watched as the bathroom door closed, then shook her head in startled disbelief.
It had been the shock of it all, she chastisized herself. The shock.
Of course she had seen her colleage shirtless before. They had fought together on a few occasions and things like shirts or boots or much dignity were not necessary when wincing in a hastily erected camp afterwards.
That had been a very long time ago, however, when a brief outbreak of fighting had threatened the long peace of the Dragon Kingdom.
The sky was a dull burnt gray, thick with humidity and unloosened rain, and the usually thick grass was sparse. This particular stretch of land along the Western boarder was rocky, with low rolling hills that faded off into forest in the South. To the North the hills grew sharper and sloped up into the long mountain chain that divided the Wester continient in two.
A ring of painstakingly arranged tents, the two largest bearing the Dragon Clan's crest, encircled a good-sized campfire.
Tensed and holding one hand lightly to his side, Illusia sat before the flames as night fell, still wearing parts of his armor from the fighting, although his shirt had been ripped open across his rib cage. Aiketh glanced at him, worried by the deep gash staunched by the wad of material he was pressing into it. It wasn't life-threatening, not unless it was poisoned, but it still made her grit her teeth in frustration. The Fighter giving her his troop's report continued speaking as she fingered the scratches across her hand, nodding as she tried to concentrate.
This had been her first major battle and she had insisted on taking along someone else to double check her actions. As it had turned out, all of her decisions had been good... They had to be. Illusia had been attacked and disabled before they reached their rondevouz location in a brief surprise attack. Through an odd twist of fate, only three people had been injured, and the other two had sustained only very minor damage.
Illusia attempted to strech and grimanced before the waving fire, pressing his hand more tightly to his side. Aiketh shook her head as the Dragon Fighter walked away.
Next time she would be more careful.
The Black Dragon Officer ran a hand over her smooth hair in bewilderment. Where had that come from? At any rate, she growled to herself, she shouldn't have worried so much about the cretian back then! Who knew he was going to turn out to be such a...
"...Pervert!"

((Illusia: First you scar me (just like the previous Yellow Officer XD; ) and then she calls me a pervert!? What is this?))
Illusia had heard her, the door not being completely, but nearly so, close. Blinking wide eyes hard in surprise he quickly reentered the other room. Almost completely dressed, he was holding his knee long, sleeveless coat in one hand and his shirt was buttoned up halfway. "What? What have I done now?" he asked bewildered as he stared at her. What could he possibly have done to her? (XD; Oh, if you only knew!)
((>D XD; *godmods right beside Karill and fast-forwards the group into the afternoon* =D Just because personally I think that there should be some time diference between Dusis and Arinas. XD;; So there, that's my explanation. After all, the sun rises in the east. Also, what can the group do just walking around? Have a nice chat about the weather? XD;; ))
The sun had passed zenith but was still glowing bright, warming the landscape below and anyone walking on it. The clouds on the sky were sparse, not that much of the azure mass coudle be seen through the forest canopy though. The small group had been walking all day, stopping only a few times and it seemed that, with each km they went, the little star-cross that marked their current goal was getting brighter.
The breeze rustled in the trees, giving them a light refreshing, which didn't last long however. Suddenly there was another rustle and a quick but harsh wind blew by, or had it been something else traveling at a high speed? "Halt!" a disembodied voice cried out from what seemed to be above them.
((XD We're just a bunch of godmods, Karill. *hooks her arm around his elbow and skips away* XD;;; *wanted Micoi to say something like "You shall not pass" or something else Gandalf-ish* XD))

The sudden rush made Jett stop in his tracks and look upwards. "Who's there?"

A flash of something colored flew past their eyes and landed on the ground a few feet in front of them. The sharp tip of a sword was now pointing at the person in the lead, Jett, the blade mere inches from the throat of his skin. On the ground in front of the group sat a female crouched, her stance ready for both fight and flight, whichever would be needed most it seemed.
Hair in long tresses of icy azure, put up to not get too much in the way, eyes of a deep carmine and dressed rather simple in pants and a tunica that had a embroidy along the hem and sleeves that looked very elfish in design. She was also wearing an odd armor of some sea-blue metal covered with, crawling all over the blue background, gold vines.
For some reason this young looking woman seemed very... familiar. It was her shadowed profile that the book Celia had brought along had showed last.
"Who're you and what are you doing here?" she asked without lowering her large sword.
((XD I will remind you all that Kanak has an illusion over her eyes to cover any trace of their true power due to... well, security. For her own sake. >_>; XD; ))

A low growl came from the back of the group where Baran had tensed, waiting for the strange woman to glance away so he could dart to the front. He silently cursed the storm yet again, this time for washing away both his bow and arrows and his sword.
Who was this strange arrogant woman, to threaten Lord Jett so?
Aiketh blushed again, then swallowed hard in an attempt to regain control over her tongue.
"Nothing." She shook her head, forcing an expression of calm onto her face. "Nothing. I was just talking to myself." Wincing internally at how rude her exclamation had been, she added with an additional measure of politeness, "please. Take your time."

Jett took a step back. "We are castaways. Our ship crashed due to a storm, and we are only seeking aid." This woman definately seemed familiar, though the ruler was not sure where or how he felt he knew her.

Illusia studied Aiketh in a try to see through her facade but shook his head. She seemed irritated enough already, perhaps he could ask later? "I'm more or less done," he said with a light smile as he pulled on the coat and buttoned first his shirt up and then the coat. "Alright," he said, "let's go." Walking up to the door, he opened it for her.
((XD; I felt like adding "ladies first" but that just wouldn't be Illusia.))
The woman blinked once then slowly stood up, lowering her blade at the same time. "If that is so, then there's nothing up north for you," her voice was now smooth and nice, all tension and possible hostility in it having washed away as if the answer Jett had given her was enough. "There's nothing up north," she paused to glance over the small party, "but a temple. Only a few people live there and there are no faeries present to heal your little one," she was indicating Celia without pointing at her.
There was a rustle in the trees a bit behind the young woman and suddenly another person walked quietly into view. As he arrived upon the scene there was a stark contrast between the two, she was most definitely dragon and he... most definitely youkai. The dark haired man was carrying a spear, the sharp metal on the top gleaming in the sunshine that filtered down through the leaves.

"We simply need shelter right now, Miss. And..." His eyes sudenly went wide. "Youkai! Watch out!" He grabbed Miccoi (despite the fact that he didn't know her name XD) and pulled her behind him, glowering at the newcomer.

The dragon let out a surprised yell as she was suddenly yanked around. Once she came to a halt she looked past the taller man and opposite of them at the supposed youkai.
The black haired man blinked in slight surprise when the dragon pulled the bright haired female around then a smirk climbed to his lips and he grinned at the group. "Yes, really, watch out. The 'big bad youkai' has come to eat you all," he grinned, showing two tiny fangs. "Any trouble, Micoi?" he suddenly asked but a smirk sitll remaind on his lips.
The woman behind Jett made a snorting sound then obviously wasn't able to hold it and laughed. Wait a minute. Laughed? The dragon stepped out from behind Jett and smiled at the youkai. "Not at all, Kanak. However, you really ought not to do that, you probably gave them a scare," she said with a chuckle as the man began to walk closer again, having stopped before.

Celia had felt what little self-confidence she had shrink a bit at being called 'little one'. She couldn't help but think it was a shot at the fact she was already slowing the group, despite the fact she had never seen this woman before. However, as soon as Kanak had appeared, she had grabbed hold of one of the senbon like needles that were part of todays (or basically the entire voyage's) choice of hair orniment/weapon, obviously up for a fight if needed. The real shock had come when the woman, apparently Micoi, started to laugh...They were friends? Celia's grip on the senbon became loose, and she returned to being at ease, leaving the hair decoration as it had been. "Do...You two know one another?"She asked, assuming the answer before it was spoken.
Yoko fluttered out of the bag, which he had been hiding in, and then floated in the air a moment, before flying over to Kanak. He landed on the Youkai's shoulder, and stared at him, as if trying to determine whether or not he could be trusted. After a moment or so, Yoko's gaze broke, and turned back to Celia. "Peep,"He said, in a matter-of-fact way; Apparently, Kanak has passed the small white puff's test.

Baran's scowl mearly deepened at the seemingly-welcomed arrival of the tall yokai. The lady had seemed reasonable enough after they had explained themselves, and he could understand how she would be at edge living in the dangerous land of Arinas. But why was she so friendly with this demon?
Baran edged nearer to Celia, judging the newcomers distracted by each other's presence and not about to attack.
Aiketh stepped through the door, then automatically took it from him to allow him to pass as well.((Well, Illusia, you tried. XD; ))Halfway down the hall back to the kitchens, she stopped suddenly midstride.
"Oh--!" Her almond-slanted eyes widened and one hand clenched before her mouth. "I'm sorry. It must be cold by now, but I had brought you breakfast." She glanced up at the taller Yellow Dragon Officer with a slightly rueful smile. "If you aren't going to eat it, I should go back and get it. You could meet me in the library..."

She had brought him food? He was amazed. That was awfully... sweet of her. "I guess I'm going to have to eat something so I can just as well go back get it. That was nice of you to bring it," he smiled gratefully at her before jogging back down the hall to get the plate. ((>O Blush woman, blush! XD;; Kidding.))
Kanak just eyed the bird out of the corner of his eye, as if contemplating if it was worth the bother to pinch the air out of it or not. In the end it seemed like Yoko wasn't since the dark violet eyed man ignored it.
Micoi turned around and looked at Celia, smiling friendly. She seemed completely at ease now and had a soothing aura around her even. "Yes, you could say we..." she paused, as if searching for the best way to describe it, and glanced at Kanak.
The youkai gave a light shrug then turned his dark orbs onto the Knight. Suddenly he was smirking, as if something was funny. "You could say that, yes. Micoi is, to me, like an adoptive daughter, a sister, a friend, a companion and a lover. Enough?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, still smirking lightly. ((XDDD;;; *waits for their reaction*))
