"Who doesn't love shopping, indeed?" Nina sighed. "Hey, maybe we could shop together once we reach civilization again~" She paused, thinking her answer through before replying.

"I have to admit I'm indecisive," she said after awhile. "I don't know, I'd probably want a Jolteon or an Espeon - they're so cool!" she laughed.

Hanging on for comfort's sake suddenly turned into hanging on for dear life as Corn's recently reluctant Onix reacted to the explosion far above. Whaaaaat the hell was going on here?!

Safely out of the way for the moment, they faced a wall of debris and general nastiness. "Iiiiiiiiii could have been under that," Corn mused aloud. Giving her rented mount an affectionate pat, she said, "Thank you, Onix. You saved my life." Looking up once more, she continued, "Let's... let's work on getting out of here, hey? Help move some of the larger rocks for us?"

flint lets out a surprised yell as the wall of mud and rock crashed down right in front of them and in the tauros's haste to get out of the way threw him off just as they were out of the way, he sits up on the ground and groans " no peace for us today huh? its like the elements dont want us to reach town..."

Avella shifted and began to slightly totter as she flew. "Hey. Avella, are you alright?" Just as Meeka asked that, a large strike of lightening hit the mountain and rock and mud walled off them from continuing. What the hell? Was something preventing them from continuing?

Avella gave a slightly, "Geot!" and Meeka nodded her head. "C'mon everyone, let's get to clearing this rock!" Holding up an M-Ball, Meeka called out Rin. The Mewtwo blinked.

"Rin, listen, help get rid of the mud and dirt, kay? Stay hidden though! I'm only bringing you out 'cause Terri and Avella are not acting so well . . . The others might not be either . . . You seemed to have you head pretty leveled though."

The Mewtwo smiled. "Will be done, Meeka!" Giving her a quick snug, the Mewtwo got to work using Psychic to help clear most of the rock while also keeping herself hidden behind whatever was big enough to hide her.

Kohl cursed. Hot water spilled over her hands and onto her lap, and the ramen toppled to the ground. And she had JUST gotten it to work! Frustration vanished as she had to grab at Takas mane as he leaped away from the falling stones. She sighed as the dust settled. aloud, and to no one in particular, she says, "At least I found my shovel before we left camp."

"With that Meowth fiasco it's no wonder!" Rhia agreed. "Honestly, it tired me out, especially after all of the packing and traveling and such that went on yesterday. The Meowth I think drained the rest of my energy." She had gotten her bandages from the pile of objects Abiba had collected by the fire, but hadn't ended up seeing to any of the Pokemon from the night before. Anise seemed competent, though, and had likely taken care of them. She would have to ask at their next stop.

"Hopefully we'll be in Motterossa soon. That Eevee was a good sign, unless that was just a coincidence."

Rhia had always had sharp hearing, and she had cultivated it during her time as a Watcher. When the Pokemon started getting uncomfortable, Rhia noticed. Mostly because Castor let out a disturbed whinny and reared slightly.

"Whoa! Castor, easy!" Was this what Bill meant by Castor "taking his head sometimes"?

She pushed her weight down and he returned to all fours, but Rhia didn't trust him. Then again, he wasn't the only Pokemon acting oddly. Rhia started straining her ears, trying to discern what the Pokemon were getting so nervous about but she heard nothing.

She heard nothing.

"Why--"

The explosion blasted the group with sound and Castor let out a whinny that was more of a shriek and reared again. Rhia gripped her reigns, Aimee and her backpack.

"Castor! Down!"

It took a few moments of her nearly falling off before Castor did as he was ordered, and then Rhia was thankful she was in the back of the group as she saw the sudden oncoming--

"Rockslide! Back!" She shouted, wheeling Castor and running a few paces away. She was at less risk than red group-- the leaders of the caravan-- but she whipped out Aimee's Pokeball anyway.

"Aimee! Return!" She turned Castor back to the rockslide, though the Ponyta obviously wanted to keep running. She ran a comforting hand up and down his neck. The mass that now blocked their way was not a good sign.

"Oh no."

Edit for Nyoko: She stared in amazement as a Mewtwo appeared from Oyumi's Pokeball. And then stared some more. How many legendaries were traveling with this party? Still, Rhia wouldn't pass up an opportunity to get a good look at any of them.

Alexa was laughing and nodding when Vincent began acting funny. He kept trying to go to the left and stop. "Vincent...... I know you're bored but we gotta keep up." She said finally getting him to catch up with the others. "I wouldn't mind a Leafeon but I don't think it'd get along with my fire types. I'd prefer a Flareon or a Vaporeon. Shopping together would be ni-" She was then clinging to dear life as Vincent avoided the rock slide. "Holy moly!"

She slid off of Vincent and stared at the pile of mud and rocks. "Wow.... Vincent is going to have a field day! Go on ahead and dig away." Vincent bounced towards the rocks and began to dig away the mud and smaller rocks showering anyone unlucky enough to be behind him.

Sir stopped suddenly, ears twitching a bit. "Sir, what's wrong--ah!" Jenn was flung deep into her staddle as the Ponyta reared and, in a quarter-turn of his position, dove. Jenn clung for dear life as Sir skidded to a halt near the front half of the Red Group, where they'd slowly been gaining from. The would-be trainer heard the tremendous noise of rocks sliding, and cast a look back to where she and Sir had just been. It was completely submerged by piles and piles of rock. "Oh my gosh. You saved my life, Sir." She whispered to her noble stallion, rubbing his neck with her hand. He nuzzled her hand, conforting his rental trainer as she recovered from her shock.

"Well..." Jenn began, looking at the blockade to their only way into town. She'd recovered, and was now trying to help, if only by gathering people to help. "It looks like we have some clearing to do. Anyone have a pokemon that knows Strength? Or rock-types that are burly enough to move some boulders?"
