After what could be considered the best welcoming ceremony for a new islander ever, the freshly-carved up Anatoli dragged himself out to the only person he knew that WOULDN'T try to eat him. He needed to get fixed up, and he didn't want to do it in a cafeteria full of people with mouths full of big, pointy teeth. He'd had enough of that for one day.

The fresh wounds on his leg and chest were still dripping, the blood on his thigh ill-contained by the stretch of white cloth that was tied around the offending wound. He limped up the stairs, leaning heavily on the railing as he knocked on the duplex door. Hopefully Antony won't mind the bloody handprints or the spotty trail leading from the cafeteria.

She opened the door a couple minutes after he had knocked on it, and after a quick look out of the peep hole, the door was yanked open.

"Who attacked you?" She questioned angrily, making urget 'get inside' hand motions before shutting and locking the door. "Explain. Now."

Disappearing into the bathroom, Antony keenly listened to whatever he said while gathering some extra towels as well as the first aid supplies she had in her duplex. It wasn't long before she returned with them, including a warm, damp washcloth to clean the wounds with.

When the door flew open, Anatoli put on a wide, toothy grin and made a little wave. He didn't want to look too pathetic. "Hey-ya, toots. I made friends with a big pussycat taday," he said, staggering in and dragging in his own blood-stained first aid kit from the cafeteria.

"She had spots an' long hair. Know anyone like 'er?" Leaning his shoulder against a wall, he didn't want to move any further for fear of bloodying up the carpet. "Got any place I can lay down an' die on? Yom Kippur's comin' up at nightfall and I haven't eaten since yestaday..."

It's hard to tell whether or not that was a joke.

One extra look at him sent her back into the bathroom to run a bath, but not after she layed down some towels for him to walk on. No more blood on her carpet, please. "Come in here. And yes, that sounds like ...Colche?" Well, maybe her instincts, like everyone else, finally got the best of her.

Right now she needed to focus on cleaning the man up.

"I guess, I didn't catch 'er name. It was a hit and run," Anatoli explained, then paused to think before adding more, "I... guess. She jumped me and kinda passed out or somethin' afta she clawed at my chest. Some old guy with a big mouth pulled her off afta that. I didn't wanna stay too long in case she woke up."

He followed the row of towels, tugging off his bloody shoes and setting them aside on the tiled bathroom floor.

"I haven't seen her in a while, but she's turning into some sort of big cat," she explained, looking over his wounds before looking expectantly towards the bath after she turned the water off. "Best way to do this, lovely."

He shouldn't have any problems stripping down after the other night.

There was no point in keeping his pants on, as they were already torn to shreds and just short of falling off were it not for his belt. Anatoli set the first aid kit and his hat on the counter by the sink, and stepped out of what was left of his pants. He peeled off the makeshift shirt-bandage next, and carefully lowered himself into the hot water.

"Lovely," he repeated, wincing as his hands gripped the edge of the tub.

Sitting her haunches on the edge of the tub, she carefully worked on cleaning the blood off of his chest before she dabbed at the wounds themselves. "Well you've gotten quite a welcome so far..." Antony cracked a smile to try and cheer him up some.

Once done with his chest, she moved onto his legs, working carefully and grimicing as the water turned red from all the blood. Then, she undid the drain and offered him a clean towel, patting the toilet seat. "Let's get you bandaged up."

Washing her hands, she found the necessary supplies and prepared them.

"I'll say." Anatoli tried to grin, instead squeezing his eyes shut and wincing any time Antony poked at the open wounds. It may just be cleaning, but it still stung. "Nobody eva told me I'd be meetin' a dragon, eitha."

He rose stiffly out of the tub, gingerly stepping over with his bad leg and drying off as best he could without agitating the freshly-cleaned cuts. "Think I'll need a rabies shot or anythin'? I mean, I don't know how often people go nuts around here and try ta eat ya. I hope it doesn't get infected," he comments as he delicately sits on the toilet.

"Well, if it gets infected, then they'll take care of you in the labs. We're worth too much money to die." Antony patted him on his good leg a couple times before sitting in front of him to take care of his leg. It looked horrible, to say the least. Sighing, she painstakingly medicated and then wrapped each wound, careful not to put the tape directly onto his wounds.

When she moved on to his chest, she ever so carefully sat on his good leg, but only a little bit. This was in no way a sexual motion, only a way to be able to use both hands while patching up his chest.

"The dragon would be Zach, but again... I haven't seen him in a while either." The continued chit chat was to help take his mind off the pain, if he could, while she continued to slowly patch and cover his wounds.

After they were wrapped, the squirrel lady ruffled his hair in a boyish way. "All done, but if they do get worse or look like they need stitches... Go visit Delia in the village infirmary thing, and she'll help okay?"

"Don' wanna go to tha labs," Anatoli mumbled defiantly as his leg was being wrapped up. "I'm more angry my clothes got ruined. Not so much the undashirt, but those were good pants..."

He motioned to the crumpled, bloody mass of fabric on the tile floor. What a disappointment. "Least my hat's still okay. That was my grandpa's." Snatching his hat off of the sink counter, he put it back on his head and adjusted it just so once the bandaging was complete.

"Thanks, Antony. You're a doll," he tipped his hat. "...ya got any pants I could borrow?"

Her eyes followed his to the pile of destroyed and bloody clothes. The pants were nice, and possibly vintage. That was a shame all on its own. "Maybe you can order more clothes with the intercom later... That's how I get all my higher end clothing, for free even." A grin crept over her muzzle as she sent him a wink to lighten the mood up.

"Hmm... Pants... I have some old boxers that I sleep in sometimes. All of them are clean too," Antony stood proudly at the hint of all her laundry being done, smarmy smile turning cheeky within seconds. "C'mon."

With that, she ducked into her bedroom and took her time looking through the reorganized drawers. She took her time rifling through her unmentionables' drawer before pulling out a pair of pinstriped boxers, which she promptly held out for him. "There you go dahling."

Indeed, those pants were vintage. Most of Anatoli's clothes are. It's a shame that wearing them here presented a bit of risk, if the mauling was any indication.

"I might as well try it lata, I don't like havin' all my vintage stuff gettin' destroyed if I look at a cat tha wrong way." He liked the idea of getting free stuff, even if the labs probably didn't have anything vintage on hand. Anatoli hated new clothes, he thought it was better to wear something that was well-worn and comfortable with age.

He smiled back at Antony and followed her to her bedroom, albeit not up-to-pace and walking tenderly on his sore leg. "Nothin' betta than clean clothes," he agreed.

When presented with the boxers, he gladly accepted them and put them on. They fit rather nicely, which Anatoli approved of. He leaned on the doorway, then turned around to look over his shoulder with a playful smile. "Thanks, babe. How do I look?"

"Like a cripple in boxers," she teased, reaching foreward and snapping the closest waistband of said article. A chuckle later, and Antony was back to reorganizing the messy drawer, her tails flicking rather contently behind her.

Antony, being herself, could care less if he decided to take a peek at the inventory, as long as he didn't destroy her organization work.

"Oh," she finally began, "I have some tylonel in the bathroom if you want some."

"Hey, I can still walk! Whaddya mean, cripple?" Anatoli said with mock-offense, folding his arms over his chest and sticking out his lower lip in an overly dramatic, indignant pout. As she turns, he takes a quick peek over her shoulder before he's directed into the bathroom for some painkillers.

"That would be great, thanks," Anatoli grinned and nodded, disappearing into the bathroom to search the medicine cabinet.
