[Spadepaw inched away slowly from Dicepaw.]
"Err...i'm gonna....go..."
[She mewed simply, scanning the clearing for a cat to talk to.]
Cloverpaw? No... I certaintly can't discuss it with wavepelt. I need a cat who knows the true meaning of different...Mottledpelt said cats outside the clans had heard at least a little bit of her.
[She swiveled her gaze to a familiar she-cat's pelt that lurked in the shadows.]
Serpentpaw! Of course! She's been out of the clans, maybe she'll know what i'm talking about! If not, at least i can tell her a story.
[Spadepaw shouldered her way around cats until she was close enough to the other she-cat.]
"Hey, Serpentpaw...can i ask you something?"
[She called softly, throwing one last glance at her sister, Dicepaw. Dicepaw was eyeing Spadepaw, their gaze met, and Dicepaw looked away, still as a rock. Spadepaw returned her robin-egg-blue eyes to Serpentpaw.]

[Serpentpaw was focused on Blackflame, watching his movements from the shadows. She practically jumped when she heard Spadepaw's voice!] "Hm!? Whu? Oh! oh, its just you. hehe um, sure Spadepaw, you can ask Serpentpaw anything you wish!" [She said with a smile. She was relived to speak to a cat from her own clan, and one she knew well at that. It made her less shy and nervous around all the unknown cats attending the gathering.]

Nightflame noticed Serpentpaw staring at him. He flicked his ears
as he noticed her fangs, like his own. Seeing her retreat into the
forest made him purr with amusement. He padded over to where
she was. "Hello..." he said, with a tinge of curiosity.

[Serpentpaw's gaze shot over to the direction of Nightflame's voice making her jump slightly again.] Serpentpaw guesses she didnt find a very good hiding place... [with a shy look on her face she gave him a sweet smile, looking up to the warrior.] "h...hello!" [She managed to blurt out. Her eyes gleamed in the dark. she gently sweeped her long tail back and forth, trying not to be too bashful infront of a possible new friend. Unlike with Eaglesoar, she wanted this first impression to go right!]

Nightflame twitched his tail. "My name is Nightflame, of Seaclan."
He introduced himself. "Who are you? I dont think i've seen
you before..." His blue eyes seemed to glow like ice under
the moonlight.

[Serpentpaw smiled and shyly began to play with her tail.] "Hello Nightflame, it is an honer to meet you! Serpentaw's name is Serpentpaw, of Breezeclan and apprentice of Galestar. The reason you probably never saw Serpentpaw before is because this is her first gathering. She hasent always been part of a clan so this is a new experience for her." [She shifted her eyes.] "There sure are alot of cats here..."

(Cederpaw and Oakpaw are of Stormclan, I believe...
LOL... they remind me of Hikaru and Kaoru from Ouran...)
Nightflame nodded. "I see..." He said. "It must be an honor to be
the leader's apprentice." He narrowed his eyes. So this is a
breezeclan apprentice... perhaps she knows something about
the cat that Treewhisker had killed... Something seemed to
flicker in his eyes. "Yes, there are a lot of cats, but, after all it is
a gathering. Cats from all clans come here every full moon..."
Nightflame looked to the sky. "As long as the moon is full, the
clans remain in peace..." He said. "As long as the moon is full..."
he whispered, as the breeze ruffled his fur, it seemed to carry
his words throughout the gathering.

[Serpentpaw smiled, her shy expression now replaced with a cheerful one!] "Yes, yes it is! He is the best mentor Serpentpaw could ever hope for, even if he is a busy cat!" [When Nightflame told her that the clans gathered every full moon she looked up into the night sky at the large and beautiful moon.] "Every full moon hmm? I guess tht makes it like a symbol of peace." [She smiled, She remembered she came at the begining of the era of peace.] Serpentpaw guesses we both have something in common then, right moon? [She thought to herself. She noticed something flicker in Nightflame's icy blue eyes. She tlted her head with curiousity.]

Serpentpaw. Hearing her cheerful tone about her mentor made
his ears flick. I wonder what its like... being an apprentice in a
clan... He shook the thought away. "So, how are things in

[She brought her gaze down from the stars to Nightflame, a smile still on her face.] "Breezeclan has been doing great! W e have all been doing our part, there is plenty of food! Most of the clan has remained in good health..." [Her smile began to grow weak.] ".... most of the clan..." [She quickly recovered her smile again and changed the subject.] "How about you? How has your clan been?"

Nightflame twitched his ears, he was now more curious than
ever. Death...Death! who was the Breezeclan cat! The
thought was driving him so he pushed it back. "Seaclan is
doing great. Fresh kill is abundant and we have been growing
stronger each day. Oh and we have four new kits, who will grow
into strong warriors one day." he replied with a tinge of pride
in his voice.

[Spadepaw flattened her ears to her head as she was forced to stay silent and listen to the conversation between Nightflame and Serpentpaw, her pads itching to converse with Serpentpaw. She brightened at the mention of kits.]
"Kits? Well, congratulations."
[She purred, remembering the times of her kithood. Her stumpy tail flicked with anticipation, as she wanted to ask Serpentpaw her question.]
